Okay, l'horror c'è. Una buona dose di violenza pure. Trama uhm: da una parte ci sono i fatti che volano velocissimi, un contesto generale lanciato frettolosamente nel giro di due tavole, e i personaggi (evidentemente fondamentali) che non vengono ancora presentati davvero.

I like the art and the gory aspect, it's a decent story, but you can feel that it might be a bit rushed. The characters could've gotten fleshed out a bit more, so maybe the reader would care more if they die. I like some of the vampire aspects like the bloodtype thing. Feels a bit unique... atleast I haven't seen such a trope often.

Can recommend to people who like a chill evening with some gory art. Not a must read, but a "you can give it a go".

This volume was a little all over the place in terms of story, and due to that I feel its the weakest so far. There's a lot going on, and it jumps around to the point where things start to become difficult to keep up with. Artistically, this is the strongest outing thus far, but with only two volumes left, I'm starting to worry if all of the plot threads and ideas are going to be able to come together with the ending right around the corner.

I'm starting to feel a little lost.
There are so many informations in such a short amount of pages that it's becoming hard to keep track on everything and to follow all the characters.
In fact, I'm confusing all the time the characters and at this point I'm not very sure who is who from volume one.
Considering not much time has passed since the read of the very first volume this is definetely not a good sign.
Thing is there are only two volumes left and I have no idea where all this is going anymore and it's such a shame considering how interesting the concept is :/

This is a review of the entire series!
A luxurious pleasure cruise attracts the attention of families looking to get away on a nice summer vacation on the sea. The ship is glamorous, the food is delightful and the servants are unnaturally beautiful. As guests begin to go missing at an alarming rate, the facade of a peaceful getaway is quickly shattered as blood begins to flow. The ship is being run by inhuman monsters disguised as humans. They have a thirst for blood, a hunger for flesh, an appetite for cruelty and an urge to dominate lesser beings. Stranded in the middle of the sea with nowhere to run and horrifying predators lurking around every corner, the odds are stacked against the poor powerless guests.
This series starts off with a simple yet horrifying premise. Imagine being stranded on a ship with cannibalistic sadists with vampiric powers, the only way out is to jump off the ship and die an even slower death than being killed by these bloodthirsty monsters. The horror is great and there's some awesomely grotesque art that resembles extreme horror movies from the 80's. It's what I imagine a manga created by Richard Laymon would look like.
While the manga starts off great, it really dives off the deep end (no pun intended) in its second half. It goes from being a terrifying paranormal slasher to being... I'm not sure how to describe it. It felt like it suddenly introduced 200 chapters worth of complex concepts that came out of nowhere and tried to cram it into a measly 12 or so chapters. It was extremely rushed, confusing and I didn't understand it all. Unfortunately, this led to an unsatisfying and anticlimactic ending that made no sense.
I enjoyed the first half and I really liked the Victorian horror setting which isn't too common in manga, but the second half and the ending make it hard to recommend.

I gotta love a story that helps me out with the cast. Though it started with a solid number of named characters, they were slowly killed off and more deaths are to be expected. This series is surprisingly entertaining. With the proverbial doodoo hitting the fan, the leader of the vampires is working on damage control, while the remaining good guys are struggling to survive, now with an ally on their side. Are the scales of power between these two groups upset?

El tercer volumen mantiene el ritmo y la atmósfera densa que caracterizan a esta historia de horror y supervivencia. La tensión no decae y los giros de trama siguen sintiéndose orgánicos, nunca forzados. El desarrollo de los personajes continúa siendo sólido, con decisiones desesperadas que reflejan la brutalidad del entorno en el que están atrapados.
La narrativa visual sigue siendo uno de los puntos más fuertes: perturbadora cuando debe serlo, intensa y bien compuesta en cada escena clave. Hay una sensación constante de claustrofobia y vulnerabilidad, como si en cualquier momento todo pudiera terminar.
Este volumen reafirma que Noah of the Blood Sea no es solo un manga de horror sangriento, sino también una historia de resistencia y miedo primitivo bien construida. Un tercer tomo que no decepciona y mantiene el nivel de calidad alto.

La historia se mantiene en una línea realmente agradable, quiero decir que decae. Ya estas alturas no hay dudas que los personajes se encuentran ante vampiros hambrientos y sanguinarios.
Realmente lo interesante o novedoso de esta historia es donde se desarrollan los hechos: en este crucero, dónde realmente no hay escapatoria, algo original y frustrante para los personajes, huir? A dónde?
Kakeru tomo su decisión y hará lo que este a su alcance para ayudarlos. En este tomo hay pequeños flash back de algunos de ellos.

El ritmo baja un poco al principio pero en la segunda mitad sube sustancialmente. Esa bajada está bien, no lo digo como algo negativo ya que se da tiempo de desarrollar a un personaje. Pero creo que el mayor problema de esta serie es el ritmo. Tiene una propuesta solida, quizás un poco serie B pero sólida igual, pero la mayor parte del tiempo se siente acelerada. Como si no tuviese tiempo para que lao personajes respiren y los conozcamos mejor. Pero bueno, es una serie corta, era de esperar que no se de tanto espacio para eso.

La storia si mantiene su un buon livello. Gli interrogativi non fanno che aumentare, contribuendo a tenere alto l'interesse del lettore. Il sangue scorre a fiumi e stavolta non solo ai danni degli esseri umani.
Se nel secondo volume avevo avuto solo la sensazione che la mangaka volesse fare una critica sociale alla "superficialità" che ha intaccato parte delle nuove generazioni (sfruttando la figura del vampiro), con questo volume ne ho avuto la certezza.

Spannend und blutig schippert das Schiff voran. Dabei wird die Spannung einfach immer weiter in die Höhe getrieben. Es gibt auch viel Blut und es gibt einige Fragen die noch offen sind. Dabei werden auch einige geklärt. Ich bin einfach sehr gespannt darauf was die restlichen Bände noch für uns bereit halten.

Waaaaa esto mejoro bastante, quiero hacer un pequeño inciso para decir que la portada de este volumen es preciosa y es la razón por la que compre estos mangas, me encanta. ¿Kakeru vampiro? belleza, me gusta el descontrol que hubo aquí, el caos, a donde sea que leas hay algo pasando que te deja con ganas de saber mas, bravo ꉂ(˵˃ ᗜ ˂˵)

Une mort, une transformation, des amis enfuite, mais surtout un moyen de tuer les vampires! Dans ce tome, Kakeru se trouve transformé en vampire, mais cherche à sauver ses amis. La fuite pour leur survie se poursuit. Amusant sans être d'une grande originalité.

Kakeru è un personaggio che mi è entrato in simpatia. La situazione è abbastanza disperata, lui si ritrova in una posizione difficile e la sua scelta sarà giusta ma non quella più considerata etica. È una lotta senza quartiere. Vedremo... (pochi umani ma forse sarà più un'autodistruzione)

Wow! Questo manga ha attirato la mia attenzione grazie alle meravigliose copertine di ognuno dei 5 volumi.
La trama è horror, con tendenze gore, ed è particolarmente esplicito, splatter e violento, è un genere che deve piacere, e che io personalmente ADORO. Infatti, per i miei gusti, credo sia uno dei migliori che ho letto: la trama è davvero interessante, i personaggi sono tanti e ben caratterizzati, con una buona psicologia che li distingue, i disegni sono davvero belli e soprattutto chiari da interpretare.
Il finale mi ha lasciato senza parole, non dal punto di vista del “plot twist”, ma perché risulta aperto (?) e ti lascia con la curiosità di sapere cosa succede, con la voglia di un continuo che SPERO verrà rilasciato 🤞🏻
Lo consiglio al 100% agli amanti del genere, anche perché la lettura è veloce e piena di colpi di scena e momenti vivi, leggerò sicuramente altre opere dell’autrice 🫶🏻

Es una obra asombrosa, sangrienta y con unas escenas terroríficamente bien hechas.
Y si eres fan de los vampiros es tu obra. Aunque si quieres ir de vacaciones en un crucero, creo que te lo vas a pensar dos veces 🤭
Todos los tomos tienen un ritmo frenético y acojonante.
Pero con el último, sentí que fue a menos y me quedé un poco descolocada.
Con el final de la historia, me esperaba otra cosa, creo que no está totalmente cerrada.
Se merece una secuela o lo que sea… no puedo quedarme así!!
A modo de reflexión diré que 160 paginas por 8,50€ me duelen en el bolsillo y que me dejen con un final tan… en el aire, todavía mas.
Estoy segura de que estos 5 tomos fueron una estrategia, y que pronto sacaran una continuación… tocará seguir rascando el bolsillo?? 🤔
