Beachfront Secrets: Solomon’s Island Book six is by Michele Crest. This series is so good that it is easy to pick up the book and start reading it immediately. The problem is the wait for the next seed. MacKenzie Rowland and her friend Clara were getting groceries. This was the only time they could get together for some time. Their jobs, Clara’s husband, and MacKenzie’s boyfriend, and MacKenzie’s daughter kept them occupied. The unexpected presence of her ex-husband had been causing problems for MacKenzie. Ben had left MacKenzie after Stephanie was born. Now, after seven years, he was back to see Stephanie. Was that all he wanted?
I enjoyed reading an advance copy of this book from the author. This is book 6 in a nice series of books set on Solomons Island. The books are easy to read...effortless really...so if you are looking for light reading, this series might be for you. You get to know the whole town! I'm giving it a 3 only because it is such light reading and cannot compare to a long, heavy novel.
Have read the whole series to date, predictable, slushy romance. Damaged woman/man meets their life partner after refusing to date for a while. Makes easy beachside/garden/cold afternoon reading and who doesn’t like a happy ending. Nice easy read after reading a more in depth heavy read.
I can't get enough about Solomon's Island & the entire town. The author has done a great job of telling everyone's story throughout this series, and each book leaves me wanting more. Although it COULD end with this book, I really hope it doesn't because I have come to love this series. It's a great read!
I love series, you keep up with the characters you have grown to love. This writer is extremely good at incorporating all the characters thru out the all of the books. Very sad reaching the end, will miss these folks.
As usual this one kept the same anticipation going. Keeping everything in order, exciting and making a life true story. Do hope the wait for the next one is not far off.
This was my favorite book. I loved the Mack and Brody saga. I love that Stephanie played such a big part. I’m glad Mae and Johnathan worked out their differences. I wish there were more books in the series
Continue to love this series where each book stands alone but you continue on with the resident’s of Solomon’s Island. This book focuses mainly on Mac and Brody with their relationship while keeping up with the rest of the characters from the previous books. Mac and Brody have been dating for awhile when suddenly, Mac’s ex husband shows up in town. He now wants to reconnect with Mac and their daughter Stephanie. This brings multiple issues to Mac and Brody’s relationship. You won’t go wrong reading this story.
I am a volunteer ARC for this book in exchange for an honest review.
