Thank you to Netgalley and Bloomsbury Publishing Plc (UK & ANZ) for the opportunity to read and review this book.

This is a children's book. I started reading this with my 10-year-old son, who loves watching Blue Peter. Adam B, the author was a presenter on this show, until recently and is a YouTuber who, my son watches regularly.

As I say, we started reading it together until he decided the book was so good, he had to carry on without me, so he didn't have to wait for the rest.

At the start we wondered if this was a true story, but as it moved on after a couple of chapters realised, it was definitely fiction. We think the book would great be for anyone aged perhaps 7 plus, especially if you are a fan of BP or his YouTube channel.

Adam wins the internet is actually a book about Adam, with himself as the main character and with lots of laughs and lots of emotions is a thought-provoking enjoyable book for kids and early teens with some great graphics too.

My son was very excited to see that there will be a sequel coming soon and said he's definitely up for an early read of that too!!

This book was amazing, it was funny and I LOVED the illustrations soo much! It was so well written and although it’s targeted at children, I still thoroughly enjoyed this one! I loved the portrayal of the character Adam himself in this book and the relationship between him and his brother Callum was very realistic! I’m a fan of AdamB’s content and it’s great to hear about his journey in a different way through this book! This one was kindly gifted to me as an eARC via Netgalley so thank you ever so much, Bloomsbury and AdamB!! 🫶💕💕

A superbly funny debut comedy story for 7 to 11 year olds. My kids could absolutely relate to the protagonist Adam, who dreams of becoming a YouTube star and making his millions, living the life of the rich and famous. He even has a plan to get there! Adam aims to get 1 million followers in one year in order to become a YouTube sensation and so begins the hilarity! Adam, who is presently poor in cash and friends, finds himself in the most ludicrous situations and these moments are captured by brilliantly funny black and white illustrations of James Lancett. His efforts all seemed doomed to failure, but he isnt ready to give up on his mission. A wonderful read full of fun,but above all heart and a clear message to not give up on your dreams. Hard work and determination make Adam a hero. Perfect for young comedy fans of books like David Baddiel or Greg James. #AdamWinsTheInternet #AdamB #Netgalley #Bloomsburychildrensbooks #comedyfiction #childrensbooks

It took a while to get to this book as I didn't know the author, but as soon as I mentioned the next book I was reading, almost all of my grandchildren asked why we had not read this before ! They all knew all about this author. It was one of those books when all of the children laughed at the same time (and I didn't get it) and I laughed at other bits. Overall a very well written funny book but better understood by the target audience than grandmas.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this. It was highly entertaining. The story follows Adam (and his funny antics) as he builds his YouTube channel. What would you do to be a YouTube sensation? Adam has a year to reach a million or risk losing everything. It’s a rollercoaster of high jinx and successes through to the lows of falling subscribers as he learns what it takes to reach his million.
Thanks to NetGalley for an advanced copy for an honest review.

Such a fun read! My 11 year old found this hilarious with lots of unexpected twists and turns. As a wanna be YouTuber, he was enthralled with the buzz words, stunts and all-around action that this book offered. As a mom of a wanna be YouTuber, I was impressed with the message of the story and the way that the story went to extremes but ended up illustrating what is most important in life. A definite favorite in our household.
