Paws and Fangs is a spicy, fast-burn love story with a dark twist.
***This book includes dark themes like abuse, torture, suicidal thoughts, and tendencies.***
Tanja is a spicy romance author who loves to write about strong female characters, loving love interests, and the occasional vampires and werewolves.
Besides writing she is a mother and nursing student, with a hectic life and an ever-changing work schedule. Writing is her escape from reality in which she can let go of all the stress that comes with managing a family of three and balancing work and private life.
This book! It has been a while since I ready a good paranormal book that hooked me, and finding this book made it worth the wait.
There were tears, laughter, happiness and more. This book definitely is worth the read and possibly a reread in the future.
I will admit I did find some words repetitive such as referring to the characters genitals when they were participating in intercourse. Also I did feel that some of the insecurity was too much but also I live it at the same time as it was a show of how far and much growth the characters go through and face throughout this book. Overall, the author made me fall in love with each character and their personality. I will openly admit I would love a vicktor and Ben sandwich of my own.

Paws and Fangs was the first arc I've received, so I'm super thankful to the author for approving me! I'm leaving this review voluntarily.
I am a huge paranormal romance reader, but this was actually my first 'thruple' story. I normally stick with the fated mates who get a HEA, so it was definitely a new experience! So far, this has been the spiciest book I've read yet-- yes, my husband is thankful. Absolutely 5 stars for the spice!
I really enjoyed the story overall. A little disappointed we didn't get to find out what exactly Sky is though. I'm not sure whether this is going to be a stand alone book or part of a series, but I would definitely read a second book about them all learning what she is!
I did rate the book as four stars, because I enjoyed reading it and it kept me wondering what would happen next. It was a fast burn which I loved, but I felt like there was a lot of repeated conversations concerning everyone's insecurities, making it feel repetitive at times.
Either way, this was a really good book and I would recommend it.. especially if you've never read any 'thruple' books yet. Having a werewolf and a vampire in a thruple, is just amazing.
Reading this book really reminded me why I love paranormal romances so much. The author did a wonderful job pulling you into the book with the first few pages, Sky, Benedict and Vicktor’s story was really well written and fast paced. The relationship that these three have was well weaved together, there were times of doubts, times of nothing but joy/love but the steam factor in this book is off the charts. STEAMY!!!
Sky's character was well written, I loved that she had doubts and fears, but would work them out with either the males or on her own. I feel like that really made me connect with her. The relationships between the males and Sky are both different but still interesting in their own way and worked really well together. I didn’t rate this book 5 stars because I felt at times the insecurities were a little repetitive and the use of some words during intercourse scenes, however overall the book was done very well. I do wish that we got to find out what Sky was but I like that the author left that unanswered and now we can get another book to hopefully answer the questions.
I want to Thank Tanja Longoria for allowing me the chance to read this book for my honest review.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. I love a good fast burn romance, especially with vampires and werewolves are involved! I do feel like characters were too considerate of each others feelings. I also feel the drama was resolved little too quickly for me taste. I typically prefer more drama and development of the characters flaws and emotions. Over all this is a great story for those just beginning with fantasy or supernatural books.
This was a nice story, liked the different character personalities, and had a little action thrown in. For me it was a bit of a struggle to read as I am not a fan of third person narration, that is just my preference. I also feel that there were some areas for improvement with story development as well as character development. All in all a good book but not one I will be rushing to get a physical copy of for my trophy shelf.
I found the idea of this book exciting, the idea of a dichotomy between two lovers is a great one and I had high hopes. I did struggle with the perspective in the book, there was a lot of the term 'She' and this made it hard for me to connect with the main character. I think if the perspective was changed and the reader could become the character more this book has the potential to be excellent. I was lucky enough to get an advanced reader copy of this book and did manage to read it in 2 days.
This was overall a really good book! The spicy scenes were good and nothing seemed to get to jumbled. The story line flowed well, and it’s pretty much everything you could want in a vampire/werewolf throuple ❤️ the only thing I would say is her insecurity about how the guys felt in their situation was pretty repetitive and so were some of the words used in the spicy scenes
I was so excited to sign up to have the opportunity to get an advanced copy of this book when the author posted about it in a group that I am in and I can without a doubt say that I was not disappointed at all.
From the very first page I was pulled in to Sky, Benedict and Vicktor's story. The relationship that these three weave together is beautifully done and the steam is HOT!
The relationship between Sky and each of her men is different and captivating in their own ways however when all three of them are together it is something else entirely. It kept me captivated and excited to see what was coming next for them.
The overall plot I thought was very good as well. It was suspenseful and done in a way that you could believe it was actually happening.
My biggest criticism of the book is the insecurity of the characters in themselves and their relationship. They grow through this throughout the book, but I think that it is a tad bit overdone in my opinion. It still wasn't enough to dissuade me from finishing this amazing story.
Side note, I would love to find a Benedict and Vicktor of my own, because phew...that was something else.

I enjoyed the book quite a bit. I typically read a mixture of tropes under the romance genre including paranormal but I went into it not knowing how the plot would unfold. It was a bit lighter than I expected but I loved that the dark themes, especially the suicidal thoughts and such were included because it's hard to find books willing to include them for fear of offending the readers but it's something that isn't as uncommon as some believe and for me at least made Sky more relatable to myself if that makes sense. Not everyone handles trauma well enough to not contemplate or attempt suicide and as a nurse working in a correctional facility, I have come across quite a few individuals on suicide watch and saw their fight against negative thoughts and surviving without pretending they didn't exist.
I enjoyed the plot and felt like the characters were relatable, especially Sky. In future books, it would be nice to have a few more sub-plots throughout the book if it was meant to be a standalone. It felt like it was more world-building until 60% and I was unsure if there would be conflict/tragedy at that point. I really do love how the 2 supporting characters are opposites yet everything flows so well between them.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. This book seemed like it would be right up my alley from the synopsis. However, I struggled to stay immersed in the book. It seemed very mundane for the first half of the book, with no real conflict. I wanted more action faster.
I did identify with the FMC at first, workaholic, trying to distance herself from her life and friends… but after awhile, she just made bad choice after bad choice and worried overly much. Her decisions seemed almost forced to cause a conflict and some type of emotional response, however, all I felt was annoyance.
The MMCs had a forced alpha male feel to them, that I don't think was ever really resolved. They both claimed to be alpha males, but both seemed rather submissive to me, to both the FMC's whims and the needs of the other MMC in the relationship. Viktor was very hot and cold but because there is only one POV from the FMC, it is frustrating and makes him seems almost lie a petulant child.
Overall, it was a book I enjoyed for the most part, but not one I would seek out again.
**3.75 stars** Ms. Longoria is a new to me author. And I believe this may be her second published book. I liked her writing style. It’s detailed and descriptive. The characters were interesting and intriguing. The plot here wasn’t filled with a lot of drama until towards the end. Askala, Benedict and Vicktor were all so very different. Yet they fit together perfectly. Benedict the gorgeous werewolf, Vicktor the sexy vampire and Sky their beloved girl. But Sky also has a certain power of her own. While these three were so dramatically different they have a common bond. They are broken and missing something major in their lives. The three of them work and have somewhat of a life but don’t have that special thing that makes everything more fulfilling. So I adored that they found it in each other. They connection was heartwarming to see after each of their stories was revealed. And the physical attraction they had was sexy and sizzling hot! Overall a good captivating story. And I’m thrilled to have discovered a new author!
“You might be a monster to others, but I am a monster to myself.” I can relate. I am either my biggest cheerleader or, and most often, my most evil critic. It's a balancing act and when you take a vampire, a werewolf, and a human, who all seem to share the same sentiment (and what a human one it is,)...well, I never spent so much of a book hoping they find that balance. A trio that screams chaos rarely ever finds a calm. I usually shy away from this flavor of paranormal, but this story drew me in like hypnotic eyes and Vicktor just may be my kryptonite. Swoon!
Side note: Absolutely mind your triggers with this one. There are some pieces of subject matter in here that not everyone will be comfortable reading, even in fiction. Me, I have no triggers so I ate it up like Benedict would a steak.
This book, while being a good read, has good and bad areas. I'm going to start with the good.
The good areas are the first two chapters and the last three and a half chapters. It starts with a interesting storyline. A woman who has supernatural powers but is human.
The bad area is the middle of the book. While super spicy, there's no real storyline. You hear about Benedict and Vicktor's backstory and somewhat about Sky's but for the most part it's just all spice, which I have no problem with whatsoever.
There are also some grammer issues where 'would've to' was written instead of 'would have to' and to me that made the sentence sound strange.
All in all, a good read. I just wish she went into detail about what Sky is.
✅ MFM ✅ PNR / Vampire & Werewolf ✅ Found Family ✅ Protective Alphas ✅ Instalust/Instalove ✅ Sweet Dark Romance
2.5-3/5🌶 Based on quality, quantity, and k!nk/ uniqueness
I really enjoyed Paws and Fangs! It's like an adult themedTwilight, if Bella was more interesting, she didn't choose between Edward and Jacob, and there were detailed sex scenes and dark themes. It's a sweet dark. All the dark themes are handled with care. There were some unique details about the paranormal characters that I had never read before and really enjoyed. I wanted to know more about Sky's gifts, but I was really happy with the charcter development all around.
I recommend and would read more from this author.
I received an advance copy for review, and I am voluntarily leaving this review.
The idea behind this book is great. A poly relationship, werewolves, vampires, and a supernatural story sold me. I truly wanted to love this book. The groundwork for the story was laid well, and the characters are all very likeable.
However, I feel like it was lacking in many different areas. Too many things seemed redundant and repetitive, and everything seemed jumbled together. We didn't get a chance to know the characters well enough, in my opinion. I wish more time had been spent going through the conflict of the plot more, instead of making it begin and end so quickly.
I received an advanced review copy of this book for free, and this is voluntary review.
MFM, Fast Burn, Possessive Alphas, Werewolf/Vampire, Slow Storyline
90% of this book is Nurse Sky, Werewolf Benedict and Vampire Victor getting to know each other. Learning about their pasts, who they are and slowly falling in love. There was lots of spice but definitely check the warning labels. The last 10% of the book is where Benedict and Victor's past catches up to them and Sky is targeted. I guess I felt like they could have done more with that.
It's a nice standalone if you are looking for a sweet story about 3 people getting to know each other and accepting each other for who and what they are.
I loved the spicy scenes!!! Everything about them, love love love. But I would have given a 5 star if I'd felt more deeply for the characters. I didn't feel like I got to know them well and if I'd never seen twilight I would be questioning why certain aspects of the men were the way they were. It also took until the end of the book for the plot to really come together with a conflict. To me getting to know the protagonist felt surface level and the same things were repeated instead of evolving to a deeper character connection. The spice connection made up for lack of character connection.

I devoured this book in one sitting! The FMC had a unique gift, one which I would have preferred learning more about to really understand her situation better. Perhaps a sequel or prequel?!!!? The spice level is hot, and the RH theme definitely is a fav of mine. It kept me interested, whereas I have no problems ditching a story if it lacks a good plot. Plus, who doesn't like vamps and shifters? Overall definitely worth a read! I received the advanced reader copy for free and am voluntarily leaving this review, but it's a fun read, so that makes this even better!
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Intriguing premise of a throuple including a vampire and a werewolf. Fast burn. I must admit that I struggled getting through this as fast as I’ve read other ARCs as I’m not a fan of third person narration. I like that the author placed so much importance in the characters getting to know one another but I do think the “action” should’ve started earlier on in the book so there was more to the plot than just the getting to know the characters.
I really enjoyed this love story between Sky and her men Victor and Benedict. Even though written in the third person you still feel invested in the characters and what they're going through. My only criticism is that some bits are quite repetitive and for 3 very interesting and exceptional people there just isn't quite enough going on in the plot for it to be a 5star read.

Um, wow! I absolutely adored this book! I've never read a book where the MC shared my profession, and I thought it was so cool to see nursing elements and challenges. The relationship building was very well done betweenthe characters. Beware the spice- it's there and not for the faint of heart! Definitely recommend.
I did receive an advanced copy of this book for free, and I'm leaving this review voluntarily and honestly!
I am always on the hunt for new authors in this genre and this did not disappoint. The characters were well fleshed out - I love when that happens because then I am more deeply invested in what happens. I felt the plot was good, and moved at a reasonable pace. Overall one of my favorite books I have read this year!
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I did like the storyline. I love the idea of her being a different “creature” than the guys, and the darkness she struggles with inside of herself is too realistic. It truly hits home to feel that emptiness and longing.
The love and acceptance she found with the guys is heartwarming.. and sensual. There was a lot of self-struggle amongst themselves: each fighting their own demons.
I was not expecting to fall in love with this story as much as I did, but IT HAPPENED. The tenderness and love between Vicktor, Askala and Benedict was palpable. The spice was *chef's kiss*? Perfect? Swoon-worthy? I'll go with all of the above. The story has well fleshed-out backgrounds for all the characters. Your heart will hurt and be healed for all of them. I can't recommend this book enough!
Interesting read. Follow the FMC as she finds out she is not alone in the world and processes past trauma. Please do heed the trigger warnings as they are central themes in this book (not just passing references)

This book was a really good read. I like the concept of vampires and werewolves having a close relationship ship, I just wish we got to find out what sky is and also we needed more of a story line as the last half of the book was more smutty then story. I look forward to reading the next one

I received this book as an ARC. This is my first book by this author and I was pleasantly surprised! It’s a shifter ménage romance and it was really good. I would’ve like more about Sky’s background though but besides that I really enjoyed this!
this was my first RH book, and I really enjoyed it. I did find it a little slow at the beginning (thus the 4 star) but it definitely picks up towards the end. I would defend still recommend this book!!
I received an ARC copy of Paws and Fangs and I can honestly say I'm so Happy I did. This book was absolutely fantastic, I fell in love with the characters and the plot was great. I finished it in 2 days and was so sad when I ended. Absolute 5 star read.
