3.5 stars Quick read, low drama, JP MC read
Quick read, almost insta-love (but the MCs have known each other for a little while and have thought of each other), steamy with a duuuurty talking H.
Betty (23) manages a grocery story and everyday, without fail, Silas (40 ish) comes in to buy a banana. Yeah. A SINGLE banana 😅😂 (which he doesn’t even like). She always gets flustered around him and he likes her too. Betty is also the daughter of the police chief, while Silas is the leader of the local MC club.
Because of that, they’ve kind of stayed away from each other. Betty hasn’t been intimate with anyone in a looooong time and she thinks the reason why she finds Silas so attractive is because of that. So she’s going out to a bar/club to finally get out of her dry spell.
Except that when she goes, Silas appears as well; let the smexxxy times begin 😈.
Betty is HIS, only HIS- no one else will touch her, and he knows EXACTLY what she needs 👀😉🔥 which means it’s a locked bathroom in a busy place scene lol 😅. After he… um… licks his fingers clean, he tells her to watch them… do it. And oh do they do it 👀😅.
She can’t deny their chemistry, but there’s outside drama (like the fact that her dad’s a cop and doesn’t like that he’s from an MC) and there’s a new owner that takes over the grocery store she manages.
But that doesn’t stop them from… connecting 😉🥵. He’s JP and she’s his, whether she wants to accept it or not.
Overall, I enjoyed it. It’s a fast read. Nice, quick, and dirty. It even had more plot for such a short book lol

Wasn’t for me, even as a novella I just didn’t feel any connection between them, she needed to rebel and he was there 😬 also felt like there was too much going on plot wise for a novella

I could not put down this super quick and witty 5 star steamy read. Silas is a dirty talking alpha who does all the right things to give good girl Betty the ride that will change everything. Throw in a little Logan twist, with some taboo and you get Hard Ride, a must read!

A quick steamy MC read that you can enjoy within a few hours. Silas and Betty are two people you’d never expect to see together but here there are. A storyline that is filled with suspense and lust and love from the beginning until the end. A standalone HEA wit no cliffhanger, a must read.

Betty’s a good girl. She likes her job managing the local grocery store, helping the customers. It’s a small town; everybody knows her, everybody knows her dad, too, the police chief. But trouble comes knocking by the name of Silas, the leader of a local MC club. He keeps buying single bananas, even though he doesn’t like bananas just so he can see her. But one night, Betty wants to break free of her good-girl image and heads for a bar where she runs into Silas. And so the romance blossoms, banana skins and all. But there are a couple of problems that can complicate this love affair—police chief daddy is after Silas and his crew believing they are criminals, and Silas is on the downside of forty. How do Betty and Silas battle these problems and still keep their love alive?
This author has an excellent handle on inserting some comedic and almost sarcastic humour into his work bringing some levity to his stories. Logan is an expert at writing steamy, sizzling scenes that touch on the face of juicy intensity; so keep a fan and bottle of water close by to cool you down. He has a simple yet easy style of writing that captivates the reader with his riveting storylines.

Holy Sweltering Hotness! This age-gap MC romance story by Logan Chance sizzles! If you want a steamy short read packed full of sexual chemistry, Hard Ride is the one for you. Betty and Silas, the main characters, make each page sizzle. You can feel it! They have it "bad" for each other. You won't want to put this book down until you've reached the last page, which is exactly how I like my stories, page-turning. I highly encourage you to read this book for a well-written, super-steamy story with all the feels.

What a rush!
A very entertaining. Be prepared to be taken on a wild ride with this forbidden age-gap romance. I always enjoy a good MC story but, I lOVE this one. Betty and Silas will have you panting just from the chemistry that draws them to each other. The heat between them is undeniable. You can feel the rush of adventure as the Club tries to figure out the mystery of some stolen products and who tried pinning it on their club. There is just the right amount of sexy and tough outlaws. Along with hot steamy scenes. Logan once again pulled me in from the very first page. He always gives you that angst, the passion, and most of all hot steamy scenes. I can not wait for more.

Fast and Dirty
Hard Ride was a fast and dirty read. I loved his randomness at fondling fruit and the storyline. This book has a little of everything in it. A little suspense, rough and dirty bikers, he's a little sweet and not what you expect from an MC Pres.
Bonus of Hard Love was a welcomed surprise.

Betty and Silas have the best story in the newest edition to the Filthy Dirty Desire series. Betty is the manager at the Hungry Grocer and the daughter of the sheriff, when Silas the president of the Legendary Villians MC sets his site on Betty there is nothing he won't do to protect her and make her his. A fantastic read and a huge fan of this awesome author.

Loved this book!! Not usually a fan of MC romances but this one was so good! Silas, knowing he is no good for her, keeps going back to Betty and seeing her at her job. Betty, always being told to stay away from him, can’t help but watch him when he’s there. When they finally come together - it is smoking hot!! Such a great story and not one to miss!!

This MC Romance had it all packed into this quick and steamy short read. With intrigue and unexpected twists, this book will keep you captivated until the very end. The chemistry between Silas & Betty was oh so hot 🔥 and the humour is perfectly Logan. I could not put this book down. A definite must read!

WOW!! I couldn't put this one down. I absolutely love it!! This was a nice quick, short read.
Silas and Betty meet in the grocery store, she is the store manager. Silas is the president of The Legendary Villains MC, while Betty's father is the police chief. He always comes into the store and only buys one banana, and he talks to Betty. It's been a while since Betty's been out having fun, so she decides to go to a local bar to hook up. Silas and The Legendary Villains are getting blamed for stolen gun from the government. Silas goes to the bar to get some information about who may have stolen the guns, while he's there he spots Betty dancing with a college age looking guy. When Betty excuses herself to use the restroom, Silas follows her and then locks the door behind him. Silas asks her what she is doing at the bar, she tells him she needed something. Silas tells her he knows what she needs, then he pleasures her. She tells him she wants him and they get physical. The next day, Betty goes to her father's house she's late because of the night she had. He doesn't have anything healthy in the house so she tells him she's going to the grocery store for him. While at the store she runs into Silas, he couldn't stop thinking about her so he headed to the store to find her. Betty tells Silas it was a mistake that they hooked up, and he doesn't want to hear it. The store owner spots Betty and wants to talk to her, he introduces her to the new owner taking over the store. Betty walks back over to Silas and tells him to meet her outside. When she leaves the store she finds him standing next to her vehicle, she wants to talk to him privately, so he climbs in. This is the first book i have read by this author and i have to say it was really good with a lot of steamy bits and awesome characters.. There were a couple of characters i did not like but apart from that it was a good romance..

Steamy, spicy, hot, hot, hot...
I am not always a fan of MC romance, but this one hit all the right spots for me.
Betty is a strong, sassy heroine. She isn't a pushover for anyone. Not for her father, who is the local chief of police, or the tall, tattooed, and growly leader of the local motorcycle club, Silas. And Silas isn't the stereotypical MC alpha. He's crushing on Betty. Visiting her store and buying bananas (that he doesn't even like) to just have an excuse to see her. Speak to her.
It's really kind of cute.

Dun dun dun... I love that dash of suspense in Logan's books. Long or short, he always gives us a little bit. Along with some humor and a whole lot of hot hot hot!!
This short read has all my favorite things: a strong sassy heroine; a growly, sexy, alpha hero with a soft side; side characters that make for entertaining exchanges with the leads; a dash of suspense; family by blood and by choice; and lots of spicy good times!

I am not always a fan of MC romance, but this one hit all the right spots for me.
Betty is a strong, sassy heroine. She isn't a pushover for anyone. Not for her father, who is the local chief of police, or the tall, tattooed, and growly leader of the local motorcycle club, Silas. And Silas isn't the stereotypical MC alpha. He's crushing on Betty. Visiting her store and buying bananas (that he doesn't even like) to just have an excuse to see her. Speak to her.
It's really kind of cute.

Betty works in a grocery store in a small town outside of Las Vegas. Every day, Silas, The leader of the Motorcycle pack comes in to shop. He's so handsome, but so forbidden, because her father is the Chief of police. Besides her town is Gossip Central. She can't even be caught talking to him at work.!
One night, she deicides to go to the "other side of town" to the local watering hole to find some random hook up and let off some steam. Imagine her surprise (and maybe secretly her joy), when she and Silas find each other there and fireworks happen!
Betty wants to forget that night and move on, but Silas is smitten and begins his pursuit. Will Betty have to choose between Silas or her father? Will Silas be able to prove that he's really not the bad guy her father paints him to be?
There's a mystery to be solved and snarky and sexy times all around. Maybe it's my age and I should just suspend all belief, but I honestly can't believe some of the sexy times situations the Silas and Betty find themselves in. In my opinion, Betty is a bit too trusting. Even when I was her age, I was NEVER that trusting, no matter what the guy said.
Otherwise, it's a fun, read.

First things first; I like the cover of this book!
Hard ride is a novella in the ‘’filthy dirty desires’’ collection.
This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Betty is the only daughter of the town’s sheriff. Because of that, she is a good girl. Silas is the president of an MC. He wants Betty but will she give him a chance?
The chemistry between Betty and Silas is clear to see and I liked them together.
I liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.
