The daughter of a town marshal, Linda Lael Miller is a #1 New York Times and USA TODAY bestselling author of more than 100 historical and contemporary novels, most of which reflect her love of the West. Raised in Northport, Washington, Linda pursued her wanderlust, living in London and Arizona and traveling the world before returning to the state of her birth to settle down on a spacious property outside Spokane.
Linda traces the birth of her writing career to the day when a Northport teacher told her that the stories she was writing were good, that she just might have a future in writing. Later, when she decided to write novels, she endured her share of rejection before she sold Fletcher’s Woman in 1983 to Pocket Books. Since then, Linda has successfully published historicals, contemporaries, paranormals, mysteries and thrillers before coming home, in a literal sense, and concentrating on novels with a Western flavor. For her devotion to her craft, the Romance Writers of America awarded her their prestigious Nora Roberts Lifetime Achievement Award in 2007.
Long a passionate Civil War buff, Linda has studied the era avidly for almost thirty years. She has read literally hundreds of books on the subject, explored numerous battlegrounds and made many visits to her favorite, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, where she has witnessed re-enactments of the legendary clash between North and South. Linda explores that turbulent time in The Yankee Widow, a May 7, 2019 MIRA Books hardcover, also available in digital and audiobook formats.
Dedicated to helping others, “The First Lady of the West” personally financed fifteen years of her Linda Lael Miller Scholarships for Women, which she awarded to women 25 years and older who were seeking to improve their lot in life through education. She anticipates that her next charitable endeavors will benefit four-legged critters.

This is an anthology of really sexy stories by two really popular writers that have been two of my favorites. It is well written, though I wasn't thinking that it was going to be quite so erotic. Each storie is a happily ever after type story, but the leadup is hot hot hot. If your looking to enjoy some great lovin with a little detail you'll like this one a lot.

This was a collection of four novellas. I enjoyed the LLM novellas more but all were pretty ok. I thought One Last Weekend was the best of the collection. It seemed the most complete story. This story was about a marriage in trouble and their 'last weekend together'. I loved how LLM paced the story and her resolution.

Collection of four short stories. Love them. The last two were hot Emma and Gabe were one story, then Emma's best friend Roxi and Sloan were the last. Some steamy sex scenes. The first two stories were good.

4 short stories! The last 2 go together and were surprisingly spicy for picking this pick up for $3 at the dollar general!

The first story is this 4 story anthology is by Linda Lael Miller and is called One Last Weekend. Its about an early 40 something couple who are on the brink of divorce and their attorney asks them to spend one last weekend together to be sure this is what they want. While at a weekend cottage they own, they discover that they have drifted apart from each other because they both quit talking. To each other, about each other and with each other. This is a great story about how a marriage is more than just sex and living together.

The second story is also by Linda Lael Miller and is called Batteries Not Required. Its about two people who broke up 10 years ago over mistaken circumstances. Short and to the point. I would have liked it to be a bit longer but it was still a good read.

The last two stories by JoAnn Ross I just couldn't get into. One was set in Louisiana and the other Savannah. The one in Savannah was about witches and that's not my cuppa tea.

I picked up this anthology at the library and I'm glad I got it there instead of the bookstore because there was no story description on the back cover and I had already read 3 of the 4 stories in other anthologies. The first story- One Last Weekend, I had not read and I really enjoyed it. Still a love story but more of a falling back in love instead of a falling in love story.

This book contains 4 stories. Two by Linda Lael Miller - One Last Weekend and Batteries Not Required. And two by Joann Ross - Cajun Heat and Love Poition #9. While Linda Lael Miller is one of my favorite authors, I haven't read any of Joann Ross as yet.

4 wild stories.
