I thought I'd lost everything when the vicious fae murdered my family and stole me away. I've made a life with more love than I could have imagined in these dangerous, magical lands. But it turns out I left something behind in the human world.
My heart longs to make up for the time I've lost—but it also can't let go of the four fae men I adore. With all of the fae seeing me as some kind of savior, how can I choose who needs me most?
And is there another threat lurking behind the arch-lords' attempts to tear me from my lovers? I can't shake the feeling that my greatest challenge lies ahead of me, one no crown or tender words can save me from.

I feel like the middle of these books just drag on, and I find myself saying I’m done with the series after I finish the book and then the ending happens. And let me tell you that Eva Chase knows how to write an amazing cliff hanger that makes you want to dive right into the next book. The beginning of the books are usually so action packed and the end of the books are amazing, to me it’s just the middle of the books that I’m not the biggest fan of. Like there are multiple plot developments throughout the book it just feels like nothing is really going on and it just repeats a lot of the everyday activities. After all that the ending has me too much invested so I will be finishing the series.
This was the end of the Corwin/Unseelie arc, so I did have a guess as to where it was headed. But I had been gently lulled into a false sense of security... and then that ending! Killing me with these 😂 Though the last cliff-hanger didn’t pan out at the start of this one. It never really went anywhere from that initial reveal. Talia (trying to save everybody) took it on, but it made little difference to anything. Loving the group dynamics, they're really starting to be a proper team despite all their differences. We'll see how that goes in the next book now that everything's going wrong.
Unpredictable. Two steps forward and one step back I love Talia because she is one to stand up for what is right. A multilayered plot, there is much more going on than meets the eye. Light fae, Dark fae and Murc fae, each with their own agendas. New elements are introduced that kept my mind in constant motion. I love all of the different materials used for the castles of the fae, the descriptions and details are wonderful and paint a great picture of the lands. There are plenty of judgmental bullies and danger that has to be dealt with and Talia has to become a bit of an investigator knowing things are not as they seem. She is transitioning from being a victim to a leader as the books have gone along. I love how as a reader things seem to move along slowly but then the next thing you know it is like a mountain has moved, so much has changed. It seems like Talia and her men are in constant motion, two steps forward and one step back. Talia has to make difficult decisions in this book and we are not left without any hot steamy scenes either. Very well done and highly anticipating the next book. I received this book for free and voluntarily reviewed.
I've really enjoyed the series so far, but this one seemed a little lackluster and unnecessary for the story. The whole thing is just Talia going back and forth about meeting her brother, and the arch lords trying to push her into the moral realm (eye roll)
I don't get the point of her brother being brought into the series. In the end, nothing changed. Talia left him alone, and he's barely mentioned again. Why devote pretty much the whole book on the plot point when nothing happens?
As for the arch-lords, I've had about enough of them. If they don't get their act together and treat Talia with the respect she deserves, I might just scream. She is literally saving their people from certain death, and they still treat her like the gum on the bottom of their shoe.
Despite all of that, I loved seeing Talia with her mates. I love Corwin's addition to her mate circle. I hope they can finally have the time to just be with each other without any pending conflicts/doom. But it seems that won't be for a while after this cliff hanger :(
This is a fantastic ongoing series that I eagerly look forward to reading more from and this latest addition is every bit as exciting and entertaining as the rest. We continue on with Talia’s journey of action, danger and secrets as the politics between the fae fractions heat up! There’s drama, intrigue and some very hot and steamy scenes and some difficult decisions to be made. So cannot wait for the next book!
Wow! This book will certainly keep the reader on the edge of their seat. Talia and her men face more problems within the Fae realm. What other secrets will they uncover? This is a great series. I received an ARC copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Talia thought she had lost everything when she was abducted and taken into the Fae realm but she has made a life there with far more love than he could have ever imagined. But she still has a link back to the mortal world. Can she decide whether to stay on the human or fae side? Looking at the love she has for the four men in the Fae realm it seems she cannot give up the men whom she adores and so will stay where she can help the most people even though there is yet another arch-lord attempt to tear her from her lovers. There seems to be another trial awaiting her - she only hopes she is up to the job.
This was definitely a dramatic instalment to the series with plenty of plots and careful negotiation required by pretty much all of the men in Talia's life as well as by her. I did like some of the things that she tried to do which I thought were very reasonable. It was great to see the way her confidence has grown and how she seemed to be prepared to negotiate directly with some of the Fae in an attempt to isolate her lovers from her aims. I loved the way that it ended on another one of the author's bombshells and I can't wait to find out the who and the why. Well written and easy to read/understand. Contains explicit sexual content.
I like Talia how determined she is and all she has done to everyone. Even if they are ungrateful assholes, the bunch of them(the seelie and unseelie people) . How can they still hate her when she has proven how much she wants to actually save them from the curse? Damn that ending, cliffhanger hello
This book in the series was a 3.5 for me. By book six, the plot has thinned a little. The end redeemed the story and bumped it up by 0.5 in my book. It’s not bad, I think I’m just looking for answers that I still have to wait through three more books to find out.
Fated Crown is the sixth book in the Bound to the Fae series by Eva Chase and in this one, we find Talia and her guys getting ready to move into her own castle on the border between summer and winter near the Heart. Talia has learned how to wield her gift to save the Unseelie from their curse but things are far from easy. The Unseelie arch-lords are causing trouble for Talia and her mates, again and then there is the matter that the brother thought dead is very much alive.
So much has happened in this series, Talia finding her four mates in Corwin, August, Whitt, and Sylas, to her learning how to wield her power, dealing with the disgruntled arch-lords on both sides, and now Talia has to deal with the worry of her brother who she thought died in the attack all those years ago. Talia has suffered greatly but it hasn't negatively changed her, it's made her strong, caring, and very clever, all of which she is gonna need if she's gonna get the fae to change their ways but with the support of all her wonderful guys who love her and show her that love and protectiveness daily, she's going to be able to face anything. She devising plans to help her fellow humans and is determined to not only help the fae but help the humans that have been so mistreated.
Talia's big heart has her accepting the responsibility of healing the fae but then something happens that draws her notice to the humans living among the fae and what she finds is not good. I will admit that Eva is very good, my mind was so focused on Taila and her mates and on the fae curse that I didn't stop to think that there may have been humans out there that have been treated just as badly if not worse than Talia has in her previous years with the fae. The way that the fae has treated the humans is horrible and Talia isn't going to let that stand, she is determined to take up yet another cause to help those around her.
It really amazes me how supportive the guys have become of Talia, how devoted they are to her, and seem to be forming a bond with each other too. Talia has helped heal the wounds between the brothers but help heal some of Corwin's past as well and bring them all together in loving her. Of course, I love August, Whitt, and Sylas but now Corwin has my heart for sure. I love reading from each of the guys' point-of-view because I loved seeing how much they love, care for, and think of Talia. Her comfort, her emotions, her safety, and her happiness are all top priority to them. Plus there is this one scene with Whitt, oh my gosh, it was so heartwarming, especially since he had so much trouble with feelings and relationships before. He's come a long way and that is because of Talia's love, support, and understanding.
The Unseelie arch-lords are really getting on my last nerve. Laoni has so many issues and she is determined to see humans as less than, including Talia with her cruel remarks and lack of even giving her the basic respect any living sentient creature should have. Of course, she stirs up trouble for no reason and then conscripts her co arch-lords Uzziah and Terisse into going along with her plans but while Laoni may be the ringleader it's obvious that Uzziah and Terisse feel that she's just in her feelings somewhat. Some of Laoni's past is revealed but honestly, it still doesn't make me feel any better about her if anything I am even more confused. I honestly don't know what Laoni is going to do next, I just hope Talia is up to the challenge.
In Fated Crown the tide seems to be shifting for Talia, things are looking better for her and it seems she may have learned to wield some power her way to not only help the fae and humans who need it but to help herself as well. However, there is still the question of a permanent solution to heal the fae before it becomes too overwhelming for Taila and while another vague answer was given it looks like the Heart thinks things are going in the right direction. However, things don't last for long, Fated Crown ends on a cliffhanger that's got me asking wtf is going on? The very last sentence revealed something so jaw-dropping, it has all the wheels in my brain turning trying to put together what in the world it could mean.
Lawd Please give her new backbone a bit more steel
Alot happened in this book. I'm glad the relationships between her and her mates continue to grow. Not as much heat and romance but the parts it had were hot. I was excited to find out her brother was still alive. I'm glad he wasn't able to be of use so that he couldn't be put in the same position as her and while I got her caution and not wanting to disturb his life or make it worse I feel like there could have been a compromise. She could have reconnected with him and do frequent visits instead of it being a all or nothing choice between him and her mates and helpingthe fae. I'm glad she's speaking up more and starting to be a champion for the humans and half fae but in all honesty I feel like at this point 6 books in she should have done way more to put her foot down and let them know the disrespect and being a doormat is over. They still look down on her, sneer at her, dismiss her, call her names and she worries about them being upset with her. That pisses me off. I'm glad she stuck up for herself and said what she said when she helped lanoi but she should have been saying that and letting them know at the end of the day they need her more than she needs them and they would pitch a fit if humans came to their land, kidnapped and drugged them and made them slaves treating them like dirt. Idk, that treatment has been my constant peeve throughout these books. But I'm glad the tides are turning when it comes to the subjects atleast. She should keep up using that to her benefit. She seems to be getting more powers that are coming out of nowhere so hopefully that's explained in the next book
I love this series by Eva Chase, but I will say this installment wasn't a favorite of mine. I think it felt more like an episode instead of a full length story, if that makes sense. I definitely think its still a solid 4 stars, but it wasn't my favorite of the series as of now. I thought the plot just slowed down, so we have a lot of tension, but not a ton happens like it has been in the other books.
Without giving too much away, I loved the coming together of Talia and her men, it was good to see them all working together/banding together against their opposition and then the 🔥 scenes were fabulous! I loved the progression with Whiit (swoooooon) and August is still so adorable haha. I was happy to see a certain archlord get off her high horse and see things from Talia's perspective. It's disturbing to see how often Talia is going to be needed and I am sad about the updates from her family back in the human world. Like good, but I was kinda hoping we would get to see them more (like visits and actually contacting them). I also was shocked and VERY intrigued by the change in Talia's powers during the one scene. Can't wait for more. I knew the Murk would make another appearance aaaaaand I am hoping book 7 doesn't take too long to come to audio because I need to know what happens after that cliffy!
Narration was good again, I thought Savannah's performance of Talia standing up for what was right was really believable. I loved the vulnerability both narrators brought when Whitt revealed things, made my heart happy ❤️❤️❤️
I received an ebook ARC from the author in exchange for my honest review.
Y’all bring your fans to this book, because Book 6 of Bound to the Fae is so freaking hot!!
Before we get into the really good stuff, let’s check out the set up first. In Fated Crown, we really see that Talia has grown into a competent woman, aware of her consequences and the need for balancing decisions.
This book feels much more politically driven than previous ones and it makes sense because now Talia is front and center of Seelie and UnSeelie relations. Balancing out all this heavy world building are some very… very… very hot steamy scenes, including one scene with Talia and all 5 of her current men.
What I really enjoyed was that Chase embraced the awkwardness of physically “managing” 6 people at once - and this added something sensuous and intimate to the experience. But then we also get scenes of Talia being privately intimate with some of the men on their own.
Readers may feel a little pulled in all directions due to the heavy plot in this one, but the steamy scenes will keep them very well entertained! Also, the politicking is very worth it, as (no spoilers) the ending has a very pivotal moment for this series and is set to change a lot of things!
4⭐️ - love it! Talia is killing it and I’m here for it. I appreciate the level-headedness of the main characters, while still being extremely passionate.
Having discovered that her brother is actually alive in the human world, the fae discuss the possibility of bringing him to through the Mist to serve as another source of cure for all fae. When all their tests prove negative, Talia is released that her brother will not be in danger from the fae.
Tensions continue to run high in both realms, but winter in particular. While the people begin to bear worship the skills Talia possesses, the arch-lords are not pleased. Corwin continues to grow his relationship with both Talia and the summer cadre. When they build a joint castle on the border for Talia, things are as good as they’re going to get between the group.
Despite healing their people, the arch-lords of winter are against Talia at every turn. When she attempts to better the position of the other humans in the fae realm, she is met with lies and terrible conditions. When she attempts to push back, the arch-lords push back harder.
Again with the cliff hangers, but I’m here for it!
i love these books but goddamn they’re so infuriating! i just want everything to be revealed instead of having to wait another three books for a full conclusion.
Talia has really come into her own throughout this series. she’s so strong and passionate and she can make one hell of a speech. at this point, half of their problems could be solved if everyone just communicated, especially when it comes to their feelings, and they should just straight up listen to Talia in the first place because my girl is never wrong but somehow gets attacked and blamed anyway.
the cliffhanger about her brother in the last book felt kinda redundant in this one seeing as he was of no use with the curses and Talia decided to just leave him be. i’m hoping something more does happen with him otherwise that plot point will just feel completely pointless.
i am glad to see all four of Talia’s mates getting on so well. any hesitations i had towards adding another person to the group have quickly been squashed, i love the group as the fivesome it is now.

Okay… so I cheated. I got so bored reading the book that I only made it to about halfway through. I skipped to the last chapter because I couldn’t stand all of the annoying feet dragging that was happening. Everything was just moving so slowly, I couldn’t stand it.
I didn’t care about the big reveal in the last book, and I certainly didn’t care about Talia’s family troubles during this one. It was too annoying. The way the summer fae kept bickering with the winter fae, the way the lame ass annoying ass winter fae can’t keep their stupid mouths shut, the way NOTHING was progressing despite me reading over 100 pages. It just got too cumbersome to keep reading.
The ending of this book was really interesting, despite all that. I wish I read a bit more context to have really gotten the weight of the reveal, but I don’t care all that much that I skipped half the book. I kind of want to read the next book to see what happens, but I’m just so bored of this series that I don’t trust myself not to get too bored and skip through book 7.
!#$$. But enough about the cliffhanger ending. A great addition to the series as Talia faces the fact that her brother may have lived through the attack that brought her to the fae world. It also seems that some of the winter fae arch-lords may be trying to get rid of her, but why? Could it be her growing popularity with the winter fae populace who are awed at her ability to reverse their curse? Or is it her influence with her soul-twined mate Corwin? Or her wanting to bond with three of the summer fae, including another arch-lord? Whatever it is it doesn't stop Talia from investigating the treatment of other humans brought to the fae world. But another danger lurks in the shadows and more secrets are about to be uncovered. X!$#$. Back to the cliffhanger ending. Grrrr.
I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.
Since the first book in Eva Chase's Bound to the Fae series, we've hypothesized that there is more to Talia than her anti-feral blood and warmth-inducing tears. In Fated Crown, the sixth book in the series, the Heart appears to be maneuvering all the fae like a master strategist whose endgame is anyone's guess. While Talia's four mates do all in their power to protect their people while still guarding the lovely curse-breaker, I fear Talia's path is everything opposite of a serene stroll - and there is still the question of the Murk's intentions - Why the attacks? When did they become so hated? Are they responsible for the curse or are they cursed as well? Most importantly, what do they want with Talia? Bound to the Fae has more layers than baklava and twice as many roundabouts as Carmel, Indiana!
Bought on Kindle and Audible. Decent length on Audible. Contination of series, with a HEA, though some serious suspense and threat along the way!
As with all books by Eva Chase (or Eva Chance) it is exemplary! Hot, yet developed realtionshisp and all characters totally unique. Huge respect to male narrator on Audible for managing this across five men, plus of course the additional characters. All easily idenitifable as soon as he speaks as them.
This series did seem to last forever, and I have to say has had me in tears several times - to the extent I was unsure whether I could go on at several points through the prior books... I don't like it! I like a bit of stress, occasionally, not this heart ache and terror and bad guys so bad you want to run away (or throw your Kindle or ear buds away!).
I thought these books were getting better but they are still moving at a snail’s pace!
How many scenes do we possibly need of our female protagonist curing someone who’s been afflicted by the curse! I feel like that was 1/2 the chapters in this book! Obviously the winter fae need to stop being so cold to literally not freeze to death they need to open their hearts & minds!
Then there’s a lot of second guessing herself and every little decision. Will she do this or this?
Then yet another anticlimactic battle or fight scene just like all of them in this series.
And a little splash of spice to keep you entertained 😆
The only good thing so far is the cliffhanger this book ended on, I’m 6 books in and since I didn’t stop when I should of at book 1 I’m to deep in to give up now 😂 Fingers crossed something actually happens in this series!
As our FMC gains more understanding of her power not everyone can accept that she has the realms best interest at heart.
We venture outside the realms expanding the universe once more, which means more decisions need to be made and some are attempted to be forced. The devotion gained from the common folks by our FMC isn’t seen as a good thing and those in power don’t trust her intent to only make things better for everyone. There’s quite a lot of inner monologue push from the FMC to make things better for humans in the realms and we shall have to see how that turn out.
As our MCs spend more time together they grow closer and together they create a physical space balanced between the two realms. We almost end with a fantastic HEA, but mysteries remain and a cliffhanger ending promising answers concludes this book!
So let’s get one thing straight. This isn’t a bad series. I love that the heroine has a lame leg and continues to persevere through pain. I like the guys and I love the sex.
What doesn’t rev my engine is the why of things. They love her for her strength, and while admirable, it doesn’t come off as earth-shaking as the rewards merit. I just don’t think it is. She pokes bears that could easily kill her. I find it hard to believe she could question old people so thoroughly and get through to them heart-to-heart. And her reasoning or answers… it doesn’t convince me, so it’s hard, I guess, to accept that it would convince them.
That’s my only struggle by this point. I like things how they are and I don’t hate this series.
This book kinda just feels like a filler book for the series. The whole book is just about Talia going back and forth about meeting her brother and the unseelie arch Lords trying the undermine her as usual and trying to get her to stay in the mortal world.
I don't get why her brother was brought into the story when nothing ever becomes of it. Nothing changes. Nearly two-thirds, if not more, of this book, was dedicated to her brother just for Talia to decide to leave him alone and for him to never be mentioned again.
I hope Talia and her mates can finally just have time to live without doom and gloom looming over them constantly but it seems like that might not happen for a while if this cliffhanger was anything to go by.
Talia was fighting the arch lords for a place not only for her and her mates but for the humans to live as well. She spied on her brother to make sure he was alright in the human world and he is scarred but living well with his cousins not knowing she is still alive. One of the arch lords who wanted to tear down the home that was built for both Talia and all four of her mates ended up catching the curse after Talia healed her it was agreed that her home will not be teared down. WHITT GAVE TALIA HIS TRYE NAME!! The ceremony to fully mate with Sylas, Whitt, and August finally took place! During the festivities Talia went along with an older fae who had a gift for her…turns out it was a man who knocked her out and he said he MADE HER!?!? WHAT!!?
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Talia is the cure to both the Seelie and Unseelie curse, now she knows her brother Jamie is still alive the Arch Lords want to bring him to their lands hoping he will assist with the curse, much to Talias horror. Seeing how dismissive the fae are of humans Talia resolves to improve the way they are treated and as her popularity amongst the unseelie grows the Arch Lords feel threatened and start making outrageous demands but with a new threat looming, compromises must be sought if the Seelie and Unseelie have any hope of breaking their curses.
This is book 6 of a series and ends of a cliffhanger.
I love how the stories continue to pick up shortly after we left off in the last one. The story centers around Talia's brother - does he posess the same cure as Talia, while she choose to return to her brother in the human world.
I adore Talia for her strength. As she is continually looked down upon by the fae, she still rises to do what is right. Even as the next crisis finds them, they find a way through.
Talia deserves the happiness she finds with her men.
What an ending! Need to have book 7 close by to dive right in.
I received an advanced copy of this story and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
Talia has managed to repeat her cure for the winter curse, so things are looking good in that department, at least on a temporary solution for summer and winter fae. But, with respect gained from the faes, Talia faces another challenge from the arch-lords in the winter fae realm, and as old life catches up to her, Talia must weigh the option presented to her. To go back to her world or stick with the faes?
The ending to this book, tho, that's a hell of a killer cliffhanger! One that will urge you to check the next book immediately, and it seems like we are getting closer to solving the mystery of Talia's unique talent!
What a roller coaster of a tale this was! With highs and lows thrown at you throughout the story, you never knew what to expect next. Talia and her men have faced so much and finally seemed to be finding some peace. But the opposition from the winter fae has been growing and Talia has been ruffling a few feathers, so to speak. There does appear to be new adventures coming and the ending.....well.... A fast paced story you won’t want to put down and an ending that will leave you begging for more!
I can't say anything good enough to express how much I love this series. It seriously gets better and better. The plot has completely sucked me into it's world. I still love that Talia shows weaknesses, both physical and character, but also shows how her resilience and compassion wins out everytime. I still love that she can rely on her men for help and admit when she needs it. And I love the poise and honour she presents whenever she's faced with adversity. I'm excited to find out what part the murk have to play and can't wait for book 7! 😍
I received an ARC copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review. Talia has just learned that her brother survived the that brought her to the fae realm. When she see's Jamie she is both happy and sad. The fae lords are up to their usual schemes. They are worried about how popular Talia has become and how much they need her to cure the two curses. Talia goes from strength to strength in this book and her relationships with her mates and her sole twined mate are solid. This is a fantastic book the plot is great and keeps you hooked and guessing right up to the cliffhanger
