Seventeen-year-old Cecelia is safe and sound. She has, however, just awoken in a strange room, a prisoner of an unidentified captor. She’s not alone, though. Unsettled by the young man she’s been paired with, Cecelia scrambles to understand the bizarre circumstances she cannot escape.

Len, the young man, is as rude and mean as Cecelia is polite and kind. They soon find themselves subjected to ruthless trials, forced to endure each other and the twisted tests put before them. Emotional and mental exhaustion hang in the air, taunting Cecelia. Her beliefs dissolve, reform, and dissolve again as she encounters perilous scenarios and Len’s bitter anger.

Driven toward each other by the hopelessness of their situation, Cecelia and Len must find the strength within themselves to fight.

But will it be enough to save them both?

I fell in love with these characters over and over again! A suspenseful love story with dark twists around every corner.

Fantastic! I was intrigued at the first chapter and then each chapter afterwards just kept getting better and better! So much of my favorite things in this book and done well too-romance, mystery, thriller, a bit of sci-fi. I really enjoyed it and it kept me guessing all the way to the end. I enjoyed this book very much and didn’t really want it to end!
