WHAT'S LAW GOT TO DO WITH IT? As his war against vigilantes grows, Wilson Fisk has laid out a proposition for the villains of the Marvel Universe: Join him or suffer the same fate as the heroes…or worse.
This three issue run is worth checking out. The main downside to it is inconsistency in artwork and a lack of rhythm to the storytelling.
Otherwise, the narrative is an interesting side quest tie in for the Devil's Reign event. Can USAgent lead the Thunderbolts? What are his motivations? And, what do the Purple Man's children have to do with all of this?
Finally!! A tie-in to DEVIL'S REIGN that has some meat. Yes, it's tangential to the main event, but it's connected more tightly than either the MOON KNIGHT or SPIDER WOMAN tie-ins are.
In the grand DEVILS REIGN scheme, it's probably skippable, but the team dynamic offers some fun. If you're planning to read the upcoming THUNDERBOLTS limited series, this might be a vital prelude. Time will tell, I suppose.
