If you need some fall vibes in your life, this is a great book for you. From decor ideas, cute fashion tips, recipes for food and drink, and activity ideas, it has it all. I had to snag a couple of the recipes for myself even. And it mayyyy influenced me to buy some cute new clothes. 😂 definitely a cute book and I wish I could find more like it!
This was a weird one for me because it checks off all the boxes for being really visually appealing, having great recipes and fall inspiration, but not really being anything that unique or in-depth. It's a blogger's book so it's kind of obvious, but it's basically a bunch of blog posts put into an aesthetically pleasing book - like a physical copy of her blog. I don't know, it's a weird one for me to review. But if you know someone who is a nut for fall, and you want to get them something special to celebrate the time of the season, get them a copy of this book and support a POC author/blogger who put together a really pretty book to look at and enjoy. It's like a time capsule for fall-obsessed chronically online people in the 2020's so they'll peel their eyes away from a screen for a few minutes.
As someone who struggles to give up summer, and then suddenly, somehow finds herself in the midst of winter wondering what happened?? - this is the book for me. It gives all the steps to embrace the best of fall. Recipes, party ideas, skin care ideas, routines to deal with less light... At first glance it kind of looks like an influencer’s instagram project, but honestly I’m putting this on my calendar to pick up earlier in the season next year so I can do all the things!
This is a solid collection of fall-themed ‘things,’ but I was confused about the audience. It’s obviously for millennials (MK and Ashley’s Double, Double, Toil, and Trouble is referenced), but it is not going to be considered innovative for someone who knows the exact date pumpkin spice lattes become available.
This book is basic but it has helpful ideas to prepare for fall. It includes fall food & drink recipes, lists for planning gatherings, DIY projects/decorating ideas and even lists of music & movies best enjoyed during this fabulous season. I am looking forward to testing a few of the recipes, especially the apple pancakes with caramel syrup.
I ended up with this book too late for the seasonal activities that take place within the book. This book organizes itself based on month, but it's September to November and doesn't really help for December.
From Harvest to Home brings love of the Fall season! From gorgeous photography capturing the beauty of the changing, vibrant colors of leaves to fall inspired recipes, I'm reminded of cool evenings around a bonfire, going apple picking, deciding which pumpkins straight from the field I'm going to carry home to carve and bake the pumpkin seeds and then the family traditions of Thanksgiving. This is a wonderful book and one I anticipate flipping through the pages often.
The lovely photography in this book brings all the fall vibes! I got some cute ideas from this book and a couple recipes to try out! I love everything’s about fall and this book celebrates the season well!
I’m probably not the target market for this book since fall is only my third favorite season (even though Halloween is my favorite holiday), but I’ll definitely reference this in the future.
