I read the series before and the series after this one so it’s only right that I read this one to fill in the gaps! When I tell y’all I love me some Alecia and Montana , it’s an understatement! These two are everything! Alecia was trying her hardest to resist Montana but that BDE was activated like a mf!
I’m loving the updates on Taliban, Tremaine and Teddy! The wedding was everything and I loved how they included Taahid! That still ain’t sitting right with my spirit!
Wayne is a snake and he needs to be handled!
I didn’t like Orion in Who do you Luv and I don’t like him here! I’m glad Kelsey left his aśś!! That cliffhanger was unexpected…. I’m ready to see how things play out!

Love, Haters, and Drama
Well shiii there was a lot of action in this one, but at the same time it was a slow burn. There is a lot of build up, so be mindful of that.
Let me start off with the people I'm sick of lol....Wayne's snake azz, please go get in the gym, a weight watcher's program, or get lipo because the jealousy is getting worser and I'm sick of it. It was like Demitri all over again. Nadia, it's okay boo boo you are not that gwirl please move around, you and yo heaux azz sister. Orion your disrespect is loud and wrong, I get it you in yo feelings but stop being a bi#$h at this point. Willow...tf bye, why were you mentioned, non factor.
What I was here for: Montana's BDE was activated and I love how he finally bossed up on Alecia, I bout fell out after he said "we in a relationship now." Okay sir, let her know that she is all yours. He showed out that first night and put her in a trance. I appreciated that he said I'm giving up every heaux for you, come on ENERGY. Taliban is still that mf for me. His appeal just grows for me, he got this nonchalant swag that I just can't get enough of. He always shows up for his family and he just takes care of Sage in every way and he still my fave right now. Teddy finally got his act together and he was owning up to his mess and I appreciated his growth. he keep saying he wants to get help, I hope he actually acts on that. Tremaine smh, boy quit stressing out the family. He young and dumb though.

For this to be 293 pages it was a lot only because this is a spin-off of a prior book and I wasn't entirely sure of some characters' connections. Alecia is a defense lawyer, and her family is dysfunctional. Alecia gives Montana a chance at last. Alecia encounters Montana King, Miami's largest drug trafficking group, and falls in love. The couples experience ups and downs and then literally at the end bs starts. Her older brother Orion is so mean and rude to everyone due to being confined to a wheelchair but if I was his wife I would have threw him out that chair like Helen did Charles in Diary of a Mad Black women.

He gives BDE from the start and I love it! I can’t wait to see how things go between them. We all know things start off good but then wild things start to happen.
The snakes are in full effect and I’m anxious to see what they do to try and prevent Tana and Alecia from having their happily ever after.
I loved that this book still let us into the lives of the Williams family. So happy for them to have their mom around and I love how they keep Tahiid’s memory alive. Every time they mention him, I tear up a little bit 😢
The cliffhanger has me running to hurry up and start the next book!

MONTANNNAAA THE MAC! Alecia I was so ready for them!!
Yeaaaa this started right where I needed it to be Diamond got me stuck right now . I love this spin off and the fact everybody still in I got to catch up with my girl Sage & my guy Tailban love them down!!!!! The wedding whew! & Tremaine & Teddy glad it’s diving a lil deeper with the Williams boys!
But Montana the king man. I’m so ready to see where him and Alecia going to end up persistent and I was so happy when she gave him cause I know them two gone shake some up !

Loved it. Montana and Alecia were to strong parents. The story moved at a moderate pace. I thought with multiple concurrent storylines that it would get confusing, but it was entertaining. I can’t wait for part 2.

I really enjoyed the start of the spinoff. I love Alecia and Montana. She played hard to get, but he kept chasing her until he caught her. I hope they straighten out the drama with Alecia’s brother. I’m not the biggest fan of Orion. I hope he gets it together before he loses his family. Sage and Taliban will forever be couple goals.

Don't feed into the hype
So, I've been holding off on reading this until all three parts were out. Let me first say I'm not at all impressed. This book dragged on until 80% for no reasonable explanation. Am I really expected to read another book full of unimportant details that could've been skipped? There's nothing worse than reading a three book series that couldve been rolled up into one or two with adequate editing. 😕

The main reason I didn’t give this book a higher rating was because it was waaaayyy too many POVs & storylines & at times it was kinda hard to remember who’s who.
Alecia is definitely being added to my fav FMC list simply because she’s a bad 🐝 & knows it. She wasn’t afraid to call Montana out on his stuff & let him know she had him down bad & lowkey desperate for her. However though I think Montana is the type of dude that Alecia needs. A rough neck, real dude that don’t mind jacking her up & putting her in her place. That conversation they had about her submitting to a real man was spot on. The fact that it took them dang near the entire book to get together fr lowkey blew me but I guess it was worth it. I just hope this revelation doesn’t ruin them especially since I already knew Wayne wasn’t no good.
I hope Orion gets his stuff together before he ruins his family. I understand where he’s coming from but dude your WIFE is showing you the type of person she is & you’re steady pushing her away due to your insecurities.
Honestly I feel like this situation with Tremaine & Maniyah is either going to make or break them because I get the feeling that Tremaine wanted Maniyah to choose differently but also agreed that they’re too young.
Finally imma need somebody to tap Willow because I can already see that she’s going to cause trouble for my boy pee-wee.
Oh & Nadia is going to be a problem too simply because she’s delusional & I hope when she step outta like Alecia leave her professional self behind & whoop her tail cause I see it coming.

First of all, I literally drank this book!
Montana is BAEEE, it isn't even just what he says but it's what he do.
The way he kept going after Alecia but not in a red flaggish type of way
She told him to get rid of ole girl and what did he do, she was gone
The man was consistent and consistency is always attractive

I love this spin off so much I'm praying book 2 is coming asap. I love everything about Montana and hope him and Alecia will stick together though all the chaos coming their way. I hope Alecia has hidden cameras at Grandma Justice house because Willow on some white college girl sh**. I hope Nadia and Damien don't get successful in whatever plans they have against Montana and Alecia and let Damien and Nadia get together so they can leave them alone. Dem Boyz had drama, but I feel like this is about to be to much drama coming...let the bonds be strong that it can't break because Taliban/Sage and Teddy/Celine is relationship goals I love to continuously read about. Bravo on this book!

This spin off is starting out pretty good. Definitely had my attention. Alecia has finally let her guard down and decided to give Montana a chance. Just as things seem to be going smooth for these two a revelation has been made about Montana's organization that wil have Alecia questioning Montana. Will triggers be pulled by Orion and Montana or will these men be able to put the aggression aside and discuss who is really responsible for Orion's injury. I loved the in between chapters for Tremaine and the cameos of the crew from Dem BoyzFrom Da Bottom. Can't wait to read what happens next.

It’s always that 1 character tho and it’s definitely Willow for me. I dunno she got me intrigued. I hate that Montana going through this, but I Have my fingers crossed that this will work out. This can go so many different ways but I’m rooting for everybody. It’s a lot of hidden gems within this read. I loved it.

Ok so Orion needs to seek help because he feels like he can talk to people any kind of way he's just pure evil and negative. I know it's because he is confined to that chair but still. Montana I know wants to blow Orion's head off but like he said he would of remembered shooting him if he had did it. I'm shocked that Willow straight up lied about her and Pee Wee what I do know is lying and stealing is about to get her in a world of trouble, I hope she doesn't get Pee Wee in trouble with her lies because he straight up told her that it was all wrong. Loved it 🥰

OMG can't wait for Straight Outta Dade County 2
Alecia was a defense attorney who represented clients who was some time guilty. Her life is constantly put in danger with her job and her overprotective brothers Orion, Pee wee, Dace and father who has been in prison for 25 years. Alecia meets and fall for Montana King biggest drug dealing organization in Miami. The couples go thru ups and tribulations. Orion her oldest brother is confined to a wheelchair for life he so angry and disrespectful, bitter and taking his anger out on his wife and family.

Ok it’s about to go down!
Orion. I am not sure where to start with him because I can’t imagine going from this big deal to not such of a big deal (his perspective). So
I will touch him later on. Kelsey poor thang she is dealing with soooo much and Orion isn’t making it better because of his situation. Alecia is the prime example of acting like I don’t want this man was a person. Stop playing girl. Montana King, this man has all of the BDE, confidence and swagger to drive any woman crazy but he only wants one. Lawd! On to part 2.

loved ittt
Ohhhmyyyygoshhhhhh! EVERYTIME i read i kept slowing down because i didn’t want the story to end. I swear with each time i read your stories i get more excited for the next release. I loved the chase Montana did and him proving to Alecia that he meant what he said. I wonder what the heck is going to happen between Her brother and Montana because i know he ain’t snitching on Wayne but boy it’s going to be some drama

Great Read
I knew Wayne wasn't any good! He was too quick to do too many shady things. Montana and Alecia can't break up, they just got things right! Orion needs to stop being such a hot head and hear people out sometimes. Damien is wrong for using his job to be a snitch because he can't get a woman. Tremaine and Maniya will get through everything fine thanks to his family. Can't wait to read part two!

Montana King 😍
I was not ready. I love that grown up love is being shown. Aleica was very clear on her reasons for not being with Montana, but when he laid it out for her oooohhh baby. Willow needs a two-piece, she letting insecurity get to her and it's going to end bad for her. Nadia need not listen to her little sister she will lose everything. Loved getting to see some Taliban and Sage now that's couple goals. Need part 2 will try to wait patiently.😬

omg why? why?
When everything started to go good then this happens……. I’m so mad part two hasn’t dropped like yesterday. I’m so on the edge of my chair wanting to know what’s gonna happen next. I can’t stand Damien, Wayne and Nadia…. They are just irking my nerves for whatever reason…. Orion needs to get his ish together and Willow needs a good whoop a****. Will be stalking part two! Loved it!

diamond never disappoints
Oooowwweeee…. The suspense at the end is enough to give you chills, I love all the characters. I’ve always like how you introduce future characters into current series, and you even bring previous characters from other books to present series. That’s so dope to me…. I love Alecia and Montana together it’s like the thin line between legal and illegal. But they have so much to offer each other, and can relate so well.

It was so great to catch up with Taliban and all his brothers!! I loved their story!!
Alecia played hard to get but finally let Tana rock her world. I really want them to be together. They just fix perfectly!!! Orion is working my last nerve!! I love PeeWee but that lil girl got me scared 😱 for him!!

straight outta Dade county
I enjoyed straight outta Dade county. I enjoyed every character in this book. I am ready to start reading part 2. I would like to know what would become of Alicia Andy Montana. Will the truth come out on who shot Orion. Will Damian get what he need and send Montana to jail. Will Nadia be ok with Montana and Alicia being together. Will Orion and his wife Celine get a divorce or will he get the help he need so that he can save his family.
