I was definitely Lured by Them
Another great hit from Briana.
This is the 2nd book from the reflection series.
Lucian who was a character from book 1 returns here to me us swoon.
His interest in Tessa is alluring to say the least, but will it all work out the way they both want? You have to read it and find out.
The relationship between Lucian and Tessa is steamy, complex, intense, secretive, understanding and sweet.
I definitely got pulled into their story and was rooting for them the whole way through, a few twists and turns and a little surprise will keep you on your toes throughout.
5☆ from me, highly recommended and cannot wait for book 3

I wasn’t sure if I would like this book, based on the blurb, it didn’t seem like my type of story. The fact that the main characters were already in a 2 year relationship just doesn’t usually interest me. I was so wrong... and so pleasantly surprised. The pace of this book was perfect. I laughed and cried. I have rarely been disappointed by any character named Lucien, lol. This storyline keeps getting better. This book even had some surprises that I didn’t expect. The author does an awesome job with both POV and the the vampire world.

LOVE..Lucian!
I loved the intensity of Lucian in the first book, but in his own story he dominates! He has lusted after his perfect dancer for many years, even though he should set her free. Tessa is human and their relationship can not work, unless she is his fated-mate. Lucian just can’t let her go. When these two come together they are passionate and all consuming. But in the world of supernaturals, not all goes smooth. She flees with the thought of not being enough for him but she is captured. Believed to be his mate, Lucian’s enemies have her and will do anything to see him hurt. This story hooks you from the start, it is filled with swoon worthy passion and a great spice. CW/ kidnapping, torture, physical abuse, violence, sexual content: 18+ 4.5/stars.

Fierce and Passionate

A little less spice than I prefer, but this is a damn good book. The passion between Lucian and Tessa — once they get over themselves — is beautiful. I really hope they get better at communicating, though. Sooo many problems would have been solved had they just been honest.
Overall, though, great second installment in this series. I loved the glimpses we got of Lucian in the first book, so getting to actually know him was fantastic. Tessa is broken in the beginning, but getting to experience her growth, even through trauma, was wonderful. I don’t love the third person perspective, but it doesn’t hinder the story here, in my opinion.
Definitely recommend reading!

Lucian is tortured by past choices and what ifs. Tessa only knows the love that comes from perfection. Their story is one of trust, lies, heartache, choices, consequences and love. Its so raw and real that despite the vampire aspect, this could be a story from someone's own life about finding the one. I love that the world building details are woven into the story as tidbits the readers needs to know instead of a data dump. Once again, Briana has dreamed up a fabulous world full of angst and adventure.

What can I say about this book other than absolutely phenomenal. Briana Michaels has a way of pulling her readers in and refusing to let go. Lucian and Tessa are everything I could ever want in characters. They are both broken, scarred, twisted and toxic to not only themselves but others around them. The journey they take to find their HEA is full of heartbreak, betrayal and pain. I was infatuated with Lucian in the first book and his story did not disappoint. I cant wait for more in this world. Book 3 cannot come soon enough.

Everything this author writes is absolutely wonderful, the world and character building is amazing, I fell in love with Lucian in book 1 Burn for her and loved watching go thru this journey to finding a love he so deserved and Tessa was just what he needed. They both needed each other!! Another great story as usual!!

Loved it!
I was elated to find there was a second book to Burn for Her as I fell in love with Lucian during it. I’m so glad his story was able to be told in a way that was enrapturing and I never wanted to put this book down! So many twists and turns I wa on the edge of my seat the whole time!

Absolutely amazing!! This book sucks you entirely into this vampire world and I find myself staring at a mirror a little more often now....just in case 😉 all of the characters are so wonderfully flawed they are perfect!! Another win!!

Lucian and Tessa's journey is mired in doubts, secrets, moments where I wanted to shake or smack both of them. The secrets on both sides results in trauma and a heartbreaking situation ultimately making their relationship stronger.

July 19, 2022I hate to DNR this one because I loved the first book. I just could not get into Lucian and Tessa at all. She seems like an airhead and so fragile. Absolutely not what I thought he would go for. I’m also not a fan of the ballerina type. Writing is good and I will still try book 3.

Liked this one better than the first one, I think. The book’s a quick read full of thrill and smut. The conflicts felt more original than the first book and the villain had interesting motives, despite them being flushed out in the last chapter or so.

Exactly what I was hoping for in a fated lovers book.
This book was precisely what I was expecting from its blurb, and I loved it.
I adored Tessa’s character arc, and development. As well as the world building in this vampiric magical realism setting.

Good read
A few parts are a little slow but overall good book. His family is messed up but I love the mom. The GD word is used too much in my opinion.

Briana Michaels did it again! Book 2 in The Reflection series was everything book 1 was but more!!! Check triggers before reading. We catch up with Tessa and Lucian after two years and boy were they burning some sheets!!! I couldn’t put this book down with all the action happening to our two main characters. I was on the edge of my seat several times not know what was going to happen next!
