Older man/younger woman. Ellie is a young woman, down on her luck. When she gets to the apartment she is supposed to share with her boyfriend - since she was evicted from her own apartment - she finds him cheating on her. She storms out of the apartment, dropping the things she was carrying. She tries to dial her best friend but gets no ringing, as if the call connected automatically. She shouts something into the phone and is humiliated when she hears a deep chuckle, which definitely does not belong to her best friend, but to Mr. Bubba, a man she has known nearly all her life. He was the support for her dad when her mom died, he babysat her and her younger brother. They had a caustic relationship, Ellie and Mr. Bubba did, until they did not. I really enjoyed this book, getting to know the characters and trying to guess what happened next was a lot of fun. Ms. Nash is a new, to me, author and I look forward to seeing more from her.

This was f@cking awesome! It was hilarious and sexy! Bubba and Ellie had some mad chemistry. The sexual tension was so thick you could touch it. I loved it, I loved their constant bantering, and I expected any minute they would either kill each other or f@ck each other stupid.
Bubba was a total jerk, all because he was trying to keep away from Ellie and not to f@ck his friend's daughter. Ellie was a total b¥tch to him, all because she was trying not to love him and succumb to lust. Oh, how they failed. They were fated to be together. They were both crazy AF, and perfect for each other.
I need more! I need an extended epilogue or something.
Oh and I need a book for Nolan, Ellie's friend's brother. I liked him a lot, and I'm curious to know him better.

I love Ellie's personality as the spitfire she is. Between her and Bubba, I was laughing at their antics for trying to stay away from each other because of their attraction. I understand the taboo of it because of how he was always there in her life from birth. But it can happen. Love can blossom when you least expect it and it could even be the last person you would think with once you actually understand that person for what you love about them for. Bubba truly cares for Ellie and you can see that in every chapter in this book. I can't wait to read another of Savannah's books because I absolutely loved this rom com book!

I wanted to love this book. I love older men/younger women, Daddy's best friend romances. This one fell short for me. It was okay... I think it was the heroine and the slow pace of the first part of the book.

Ellie was extremely immature for being 20 years old. She drove me crazy for the most part. Bubba was like any other older man. Tempted, hot, and loves to dish out a spanking or two.

It was hilarious throughout though.

Dad’s best friend romance with sassy Ellie and Mr Bubba. Admittedly, I got a little annoyed that she kept calling and thinking of him as Mr. Bubba. Even after they got together. However, that’s just a tiny pet-peeve. This book was awesome!!! It’s not a daddy kink, just an older man/ dad’s best friend story. I loved the inner struggle both characters had trying to fight their feelings and attraction for one another. So good and so passionate!!

Ellie is a little spitfire. Between her and Bubba I laughed at their antics for trying to avoid each other. I get that he's always been around from her birth but love blossoms in the most unforeseen people. I get that he's her dad's best friend but there is definitely attraction and it's not a daddy kink kind but older man/and younger woman. The struggles that they faced trying to fight how they felt about each other. Perfect story. First book from this author but I plan on watching for more to read from her. An absolutely fantastic older man younger woman romance! It is a page turner that is superbly written, hilarious, emotionally deep, engaging, witty, and is guaranteed to keep you on the edge of your seat from all the excitement and drama. The characters are amazing and likeable; the chemistry between them is intense and off the charts! Other characters also contribute to the entertainment level of this riveting read. A must read!

A entertaining read. The story is about a older alpha male and a younger woman who captures his heart. The characters are likeable and have great chemistry. The story flows well and keeps you interested all the way through. A enjoyable story. This is my first read from this author and it will not be my last. A great job.

Wow! Tempting Bubba was my first read by Savannah Nash and I loved it. Ellie and Mr. Bubba had intense chemistry. It was forbidden, taboo and full of drama. Ellie used to love her daddy's best friend Mr. Bubba but as she got older, it seemed all she did was fight with him. But you know they say there is a fine line between love and hate. Circumstances find her living with Mr. Bubba and she will finally learn if all the rumors of his skills with women are true. Great story!

So taboo. I loved it. They didn’t sink right into their impulses, it was a nice sexual tension build-up. I liked how neither of the characters life were really perfect. It was refreshing to read the whole “older man, younger woman” trope without having the man be this billionaire or rich guy that is perfect. Refreshing and easy to read.

Thanks so much to Booksprout for an ARC to read and offer an opinion. Mr Bubba and Ellie are involved in a twenty year age gap romance. Mr Bubba is her daddies best friend and her personal spank bank fodder as they navigate into uncharted territory for both of them.

What did I like? Age gap romances are so much fun but they can be more fantasy than real life. In this book the relationship between Bubba and Ellie is just sizzling. I’ve always had a liking for a redneck humor but I just didn’t take a liking to the humor in this book. None of it really made me laugh so it sits a fence book because it’s listed as a naughty romantic comedy.

Would I recommend or buy? If your a fan of age gap humor then you might enjoy this one. It’s a complete fence book for me and although it was sizzling I just didn’t find the humor. So I would not buy but you might like the age gap romance.
