Miles and Lesley are step-siblings but they are much more than that as lovers. Lesley goes through so much but she still has hopes for Miles. A dark, twisted tale that kept me wanting to read through to the end. This can be read as a standalone but the Twisted Series will give you more understanding and depth to what is happening in this story.

First off personally I think you need to read the Twisted Series to fully enjoy this book and not be confused by the references to the actions and consequences that overflow into this series. First of cause it's amazing and this author does some thangs that will have your head and heart spinning so why not be fully engulfed you wont regret it.
Now for Conrad who I gotta admit I was confused for a while as to who this Conrad character was but all of it was pieced together by the end. Man what a ride. It's starts off right where the previous series ended and doesn't stop. This family and their twisted dealings lead us on a journey that now brings in the newest addition to their siblings. As the truth comes out and battle lines are smeared she is now included in Marcus hunt for revenge. Lesley, well I have a multitude of emotions around this 17 year old. Yeah big mouth (when she needs to be quiet), too nosy for her own good, and of course knows more than everyone around her (typical teen). If you can quiet your mommie voice that wants to tell her to shut up and be still, then you will love her.
Once again this author makes you love them and hate them all in one read. The history between the siblings and their ties to their father, his actions and their response will have you on the edge of your seat wondering what could possibly happen next. If you're looking for sexy times and passion you wont find the details here but you will feel the forbidden chemistry which to me is always so much stronger. Love this author can't wait to see where she takes us next because she truly has given us characters we need to know more about.

I highly suggest reading the Twisted series before this book because it will make it so much better knowing all the twisted secrets from before. However, even reading this first, it will be a book you love and hate and will not want to put down. Emily Rose is a brilliantly twisted author. The stories she creates are dark and crazy and full of twists but they are beautiful. The characters you'll love and hate at different points. Rose' character development is the best.
Reading Conrad changed my view on the Twisted characters. I found myself forgiving a MC that I previously found unforgivable. The way Rose creates a monster, then makes you able to forgive them so easily is incredible.
I loved this book and highly recommend it and the Twisted series. Just be prepared for a rollercoaster ride full of twists and turns.

This was an OK story but I don't think Miles was revealed enough to the reader or to Lesley. He was much to much of a closed book to Lesley (and thus the reader) and she knew it. She just accepted it but it made me feel like their relationship was very much superficial. I was not a fan of the Lucas resolution at all. The ending was weird but I guess some of that had to be done because Lesley was much too young in this book for Miles and he did have to wait for her to grow up which was just... - not a good look. There were also a lot of dangling plot lines and characters that just never showed up.
I have not read the other series but I don't really feel like it was totally necessary but it would have helped maybe to have more sympathy when needed. That said, I caught the gist from what the author reveals about the backstory throughout the story.

Omg I thought I was in love with the first series but this one was Omg freaking awesome. I didn't want it to end . Miles is my man for sure. I'm so glad it ending for him the way it did. Lesley poor thing has been through so much but never gives up on Miles. This is definitely a must read and a 10 star review if I could. I'm so in love with Emily's writing. This is going to be epic I know. Girl I can't wait for the next one. I'm hooked.

So I have to say, everything that Emily has written has had me turning pages. This spin off of her Twisted Series gives so much insight to Miles. The rawness and the emotion had me flipping pages. I love the twisted passion Emily puts into all of her books. They really aren’t your typical romance novels. They definitely drag you through all the feels. If I could give her more than 5 stars a I would. Highly recommend reading Conrad and the Twisted series!!

First time reading this author, it was a good read, kept my attention for the entire book. I wish I would have read the series this was a spin off of first, the author did a great job of making it easy to follow and know the characters, I feel like I may have had more of a connection to the book and liked it even more.

Conrad was amazing!Miles dark soul called to me and Lesley was so sweet.So much beautiful chaos that had me on the edge on of my seat,time and time again.All the dram and angst!Just when i thought i knew what was going to happen boom there's a twist!And that ending!😭😭😍😍 Emily Rose is definetly an author ill be reading again and again in the future!

Holy freaking fudgesticks!! This book is every bit as twisted, tormented, angsty, edge of your seat shizz as the series it follows on from! And I loved every word!!

ARC Review.
This was a spin off of the Twisted Series and boy did it take you for a spin. I highly recommend you read the whole Twisted Series prior to reading this book. It gives you a better understanding of the characters. I was so glad to read more about Miles. This book started and ended with action. Twisted story that had drama, sexual tension and plenty of violence. Lesley and Miles learned that they were step-siblings early on, but struggled fighting their connection towards one another. You felt the pain they endured, and their strength to keep fighting to survive. I enjoyed the way the story played out and liked the ending.

As the story continues we are taken deeper into a world of depraved angst. Learning more about the Cross family, I found a new respect for Miles and question just how dark the Cross patriarch was. My fairytale like for Kevin was completely shattered...upon learning his truths. Miles is turning out to be the shining star that deserves a HEA. I need more Dare & Jersey....NOW!

This book is a spinoff of the Twisted Series. I would highly recommend that you read the series before starting this spinoff. Be ready to dive into the twisted dark story of Miles & Lesley. Emily Rose knows how to keep a girl wanting more from her books. This book is definitely a 5 star read!

Conrad was absolutely amazing!!! Emily really has a way of pulling you into the story. I admit I was secretly hoping Miles would end of with Danny but I have to say I am thrilled with the way things worked our for Miles.

I'm speechless, Miles has literally stolen my heart and I'm not getting back. Lesley is such a strong and fearless fighter even though she's going and never have up what she really wanted. This is an absolute must read book. 😍

I kinda wish I hadn’t read this. It was a 4/5 as a stand alone but I’m not a fan of it as part of the Twisted series... like it kinda ruined the high I was on from the other books.

What an absolute magnificent book. Emily Rose has a wonderful way with words and I thoroughly enjoyed every word written. This is a definite 5 star read and I highly recommend this book be read.
