Once I was their little doll, the only thing they cherished. Until they didn't anymore. I hate them for abandoning me, leaving me with their evil father to fend for myself.
Now they're back and...
Hendrix wants to own my body. Jasper wants to twist my mind. Cooper wants to take my soul.
But I'm not the fragile little doll they threw away. I will bring them to their knees, or die trying.
A bit of a twisted story with step brothers, that aren't related, Lex mother married Hendrix, Jasper and Cooper father. The four of them developed a closed relationship that become more when Lex grew up. Theirs to protect. Until the day they have to leave after a clue of who killed their mother. Lex was left alone... And she's in trouble. They come back to finally claim and safe her. I've loved the way they interacted. Dark, hot, misterious I can't say that, because it was obvious who murdered their mothers. And now they come back to vengeance their death with the help of the only person they trust in theirs village mountain: Elijah (I'm very curious with this character so I have to read ) and his girlfriend Cadence. A dark reverse harem: 4,6 stars
Sent on a fool’s errand by their father, Jasper, Hendrix, and Cooper Graves were gone six months without explanation. Just when their stepsister, Lexington, needs them most they return to Violent Peak.
This quickie read was not short on steam and there’s just enough storyline to override any guilt for this kïnky quickie! It checks all the boxes: mildly psÿchö, possessive alphaholes, delicious debauchery, and a fôrbiddėn romance. Plus, it was fun having the cameos from Elijah and Cadence as well.

First time reading this author and I gotta say for a short novella it was good!!
Lex has been there little doll for awhile no one messes with her until they leave her with their monster father, she’s been though a lot and she’s not as forgiving if they come back and when they do come ask she’s almost raped, but is saved she’s not giving in to easy she fights her men she’s going to make them beg for leaving her. Jasper and Color and Hendrix I love them they were so good together the chemistry was yummy. They have their own kinks Cooper is into Rope kink, Jasper has a som kink and Hendrix has a dom vibe he loves to deny orgasm and make her beg spankings oh my!!
When they finally claiming their girl Holyyyyy that was spicy!!!! But don’t worry they also have to take out the trash.

3.5 stars. The worst part of this is that it’s a short novella. The concept would be better for a full length novel. The best part of is everything else, since it’s a good quick and dirty dark RH (aside from being too short, leaving some parts feeling undercooked).
It sort of feels like Credence if that was a proper RH and also involved murder. The heroine (who is 20, and a virgin) lives in an isolated cabin with her 3 possessive step brothers. They already have a relationship when the story begins, which I feel mixed about. I get why the author did this, since this was a short novella. So, it makes sense for efficient storytelling. But, in her inner monologue, when the heroine was explaining how their relationship began, I was like, “This sounds great, I wish we could have seen it unfold, instead of being TOLD that this stuff happened!”
This is similar to this author’s other novella, Indecent Infatuation, in that it involves an obsessive psycho guy (or in this case, 3 of them), and some murder of their enemies. The characters from Indecent Infatuation make a cameo. And although I was skeptical about an RH novella, the 3 guys do feel distinctive enough from each other. Mostly.
The main part that didn’t work for me is that the guys did something bad to the heroine (they abandoned her for 6 months without telling her that they'd return) and the heroine was like "I'm so mad at them!" and then gave in almost immediately. But, I also get that there wasn’t room for this to play out in such a short story. So, I wish it was longer, and gave the premise more room to breathe.
Still, I’ve enjoyed what I’ve read from this author so far, and I’ll eagerly read her next release.
"You're ours, Little Doll. An unspoken rule. No one touches you except for us."
I love Rory Ireland's novellas; she wrote Indecent Infatuation, and I really loved it, and Violent Peak is no different!
Rory's specialty is psychos and SPICE, and this book brings the heat and gives you not just one but three HOT psychos who will stop at nothing to protect Lexi.
"I'm going to make you come until you forget why you're mad."
I skimmed through most of it. This feels like a Wattpad type of book and could use a lot of polish. You are really force-fed a lot of information. The FMC is a major doormat. Leaps in behavioral logic are the driving force for the plot. I ended up not reading the last 25% of the book.
I expected way more than I received. There rarely any plot and rarely any sex which basically made this story…bland in my eyes. I loved the forbidden step siblings and MFMM part of the book though.
You’re ours. And we’ll die before we let you forget that.
What can go wrong when you have three lethal, broody, and utterly devastating psychos and a very feisty heroine?! This was a very fast and exciting read. It was twisted with tab00 elements and delicious spice. Although the short length, it had enough action to keep me hooked. The plot was intriguing, the relationships adequately developed and the chemistry of the characters just undeniable.
I'm really enjoying Rory's work so far. I love the concept of Violet Peak, a community so mysterious and dangerous and I was so glad to see glimpses of Eli's and Candice's story too.
If I keep reading Rory’s work, I might (totally) develop a thing for flannels!
Did I like it? For a short story, so much! Would I read it again? Yes. 4.5/5⭐ 5/5🌶️
The only reason this took me 2 days to read is simply my chaotic life. This is another quick, dirty bite, one that I very much enjoyed. Lexi & her boys were a combination of hot and sweet that dang near singed the pages on my kindle. I also loved the pop up appearance from Cadence & Elijah, giving us a peek beyond their HEA. I only wish this had been longer, some things needed a little more back story, but I suppose I’ll survive.
I was right in my previous thoughts about this author, good things are definitely coming our way.
This was a short, hot reverse harem story with plenty of taboo elements and delicious psychopaths 🥰! I'm loving this author's stuff.
This is the story of Lexington, a girl that lives on Violent Peak (the perfect name for a place that seems to exclusively house psycho serial killers). She lived there in a cabin in the wilderness with her mom, younger sister, step-dad, and her three stepbrothers. Sadly, her mom died mysteriously when going on a hike with her step-dad. On a completely unrelated note, his previous wife also died mysteriously as well. Lexington is left alone with her step-dad and sister when her three stepbrothers abruptly leave her to pursue a lead on their mother's killer. This devastates Lexington, because her three stepbrothers had been her whole world. They called her their "Little Doll" and would take turns performing all sorts of hot kinky acts with her, excluding actual penetration and taking her virginity. Angry and horny lonely, Lexington is left to live with her sister and stepfather, both of whom treat her with disdain. Things get worse when an intruder trespasses on the property and attacks Lexington...
I loved this story, but I agree with a lot of reviewers that I wish the story started earlier when the three stepbrothers first started seducing and doing things with Lexington. Having it be such a short novella is such a disservice. At least the story didn't start after they had sex with her, and we got to see the full glorious scene 👀.
Our heroine, Lexington, was less "sweet" and "cute" compared to the heroine from "Indecent Infatuation." In this one she was angry and mad most of the time, because the stepbrothers left her for 6 months without contact (although secret stalking was happening of course). I preferred the heroine from "Indecent Infatuation," but Lexington wasn't completely intolerable or anything. I like when she lied that she had other men, making the heroes jealous and angry.
The three stepbrothers were jealous, possessive OTT psychos who were completely obsessed with their Little Doll. Each one had a slightly different personality, but I liked Hendrix the most - he had the most fleshed out personality, and I always go for the most crazy obsessed ones. As Jasper said: "We’re all possessive and protective of Lexi, but Hendrix is a fucking psycho, even by our standards." I again wish the story was a bit longer so we could've gotten more development and insight into all the brother's personalities and quirks.
I did absolutely adore that none of the brothers cared about the other sister, and the only one they cared about was Lexington. As an aside, their family definitely had a lot of strange issues with incestuous impulses 😂. Her sister was jealous of how the stepbrothers wanted Lexington and not her, then went to get lovin' from the stepdad. Their entire family was in one big taboo step family relationship 🤡.
I was super happy that we got to see cameos from Elijah and Cadence from "Indecent Infatuation." This story is set after that one, so we get to see that our lovely psycho couple is living happily and newly settled in Violent Peak, helping their new serial killer neighbors hunt down their prey 😂. I loved that the stepbrothers thought Elijah was a "good man" and liked him! Truly, these psychos have interesting definitions of what a decent guy is 🤣.
The ending was again kind of abrupt. I wish this author would give us epilogues showing them living together happily in their little serial killer community. Hopefully we'll see more of them as a new serial killer couple gets added to the Violent Peak community 💀.
Safety: * Heroine is a virgin, never was in any relationship except with the three heroes. * Heroes are NOT virgins. It's mentioned they played with other women down the mountain, but never found one that was better than their Little Doll, eventually realizing they love her. * No cheating * No OW drama - it's revealed that heroine's sister was jealous of the the heroine for having the three stepbrothers, and tried to get in their beds, but they refused and were disgusted with her. * No OM drama - heroine almost kidnapped and raped, but her stepbrothers put a stop to it. * HEA, no epilogue
This book was dark dirty and a quick read but I loved it! This story was so good it’s twisted and dark and super hot I loved the guys I loved Lexi I loved the suspense this book was just so good if you’re looking for something quick but super hot with some plot definitely pick this book up you won’t be disappointed!
Cooper, Hendrix and Jasper are the hottest harem of brothers!!!! Holy smokes I was panting, swooning and blushing. I love that they call Lexi ‘little doll’ it’s so incredibly hot. Their ✨group activities✨ were phenomenal I mean holy shite, they had me like a bitch in heat 🥵 Touch her and you die vibes will forever be my fave. I love how possessive and protective they are of Lexi!! I love how strong and brave Lexi is, she will fight tooth and nail for herself and the boys.
I forced myself to make it last me more than 2 hours to read but in total, that's all it took me. Two hours to read all of this and love every second of it. Rory entrusted me with this masterpiece to read as an ARC and I'm obsessed. First with Indecent Infatuation and then Fuckboys in Flannel: A Ravens of Hollow Hill Prequel and now this???
Paint me addicted to Villains.
It's so dark and so filthy. I can't warn you enough so take that how you will and process how you please.
It is an Unconventional Dark Romance and as such, if you possess any triggers, like at all, this maybe isn't for you and that's okay but...I-I devoured this.
It releases April 14th and holy shit that seems so far away but it really isn't. Officially 4 days left for this dark masterpiece to carve its way into your hearts with the hottest guys in Violent Peak.
If you like dark, touch her and I kill you, spice that holds you hostage, men that are genuinely so fucking hot, a delicious dose of praise, badass heroines and a book that's never gonna bore you for one single millisecond, READ THIS. 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶/5
This is a short novella about Lexington and her 3 stepbrothers, Cooper, Hendrix & Jasper. There’s very little story here, it’s mainly smut that leads to more smut, followed by smut.
The brothers have used Lexington to relieve certain pressures in their lives and then left her alone for 6 months. When they return it’s to seek vengeance and to claim Lexington. And claim they do!!
I don’t think RH books are for me, neither are books that have little to no storyline or character development. There’s no real build up to anything and I found it a bit pointless.
If you’re looking for a steamy smutty quick read this is right up your street.
This was a very short but very well done, enjoyable hot read. I'm quickly becoming of a fan of Ms. Ireland's writing. She definitely writes unapologetic, OTT possessive alphahole guys. It is glorious. I truly wish this was longer as one can easily imagine how great this would be as a full length SA.
Elijah and Cadence from Indecent Infatuation make a cameo and it was nice to see them have a hand in helping Lex and the guys out. I can't wait to read more from this author. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a short, hot, RH read.
3.5 stars! ☆ i honestly picked up this short & spicy novella on my kindle because i am, currently, waiting on a physical copy of my current read to arrive. i was pleasantly surprised, the plot of this was actually so enticing? it definitely could have been made into a full length dark-romance, reverse harem, step-brother romance if the author desired! overall, it was nothing super memorable what the spice was so well written & the "touch her and i'll kill you" trope was phenomenal.
Violent peak ⭐️⭐️.85 This was my fav so far of her lil smutty novellas. She writes great smut and I think this one did the best at telling a story and building plot in a short period of time. Would’ve loved if it was longer but it was fun and served its purpose. Needed them more obsessed but I had a damn good time
We all love a psycho, imagine having three 😏 If you’re looking for a fast paced, dark step brother romance, reverse harem with spice in the beginning of the book this is for you! This is a page turner from page one and I got sucked in to their story immediately. Lexington is a strong FMC which I liked a lot. I love the Graves brothers and I have to say I appreciate the fact that they each have their own personalities! You have Jasper the quiet brooding one but is a sweetheart, Cooper the funny one who loves some rope play, and Hendrix the leader but also the craziest in the group. Each one of these men were panty melting good! 🥵 As always please check for any trigger warnings as this is a dark story but well worth the read! 🖤
What is it about this mountain that gets blood pumping below the waist and spilling out of necks!?
Oh right…a bunch of hot flannel wearing alphaholes.
Rory checks all my boxes in this one - dark, taboo, rh. Why have one stepbrother when you can have three!?
Hot, dark, quick, and dirty, this novella is the perfect way to wet your appetite. Violent, possessive, and gives no f***s attitudes, these boys had me hooked on them from the beginning.
i'm not really a fan of harems BUT when i jumped in this one i felt like something was missing... i even thought that i missed a prior book or something. i needed to have the chapters of their past, not only a few thoughts here and there... so yes, it was an ok book but i couldn't connect to them at all... we jump right into the story , when they already did something prior before being gone... like they're feelings or jealousy they had before... i wish we had that on page...
This was a super quick RH stepbrother read that was over in the blink of an eye. It seemed like the book was going to be a lot darker than I actually thought it was 🤷🏼♀️ Story starts six months after the heroines 3 stepbrothers left in order to solve their mothers murder. She is understandably pissed and feels wholly betrayed by their departure which I wholeheartedly agree with especially as they literally leave her tied up. That’s a big no no to me. Alas these are not the type of men to take no for an answer but then again as soon as the heroine hears their voices, gets a whiff of their scents or has one within five feet of her she’s ready and raring to go. Interesting read but obviously not super deep as there’s just no time to delve into anything but surface topics.
This is my first read from this author and it has left me intrigued! I'm heading off for other of her works to satisfy that curiosity!!
This is a short and spicy read! I wouldn't say it's too dark. The only TW I can see clearly was the attempted abduction and rape of Lexington, gun use and violent behaviour, but there may be others I missed!
Without giving too much of the plot away, our FMC, Lexington lives with her sister and step father on a mountain called Violent Peak. Six months ago her 3 step brothers, Cooper, Hendrix and Jasper, left to try to find who killed their mother.
Lexi was in love with all three and hasn't got over them leaving. They had fooled around with each other but never had full sex, leaving her confused and unsure of how they felt.
Her step father sends her out on a random task but she's jumped in the woods.
She's trusted the person she shouldn't have, and the ones she thought she had doubts about....she shouldn't have.....
I did like this story but....It has a great potential to be a much bigger novella - if not a full sized novel! Especially with the father's history, and there's the three brothers who were described wonderfully and I felt it was only the start of something!!
I don't know the authors intentions but if I could offer anything from this review, is if you ever get a chance to extend this - take the chance! I think it would be worth it!
But for now, it's a short and spicy satisfying read, with well described and enough info for a good imagination to run riot!!
I received a copy of the ebook in return for an honest review

Rory did it again! She’s quickly becoming a queen of dark and dirty novellas and I LOVE it! This is only a 25k book so it’s a fast read. I didn’t put it down once; I was so hooked. This is a reverse harem story. It’s dark, delicious, depraved, and dirty. It’s a forbidden love between Lexington and her stepbrothers.
Lexi is mostly a quiet keep to herself kinda girl since her brothers took off six months ago leaving her with her stepfather and sister – neither of whom care much for Lexi. Before the guys took off, Lexi wasn't afraid to be her feisty, stubborn self. The Grave brothers include Jasper, the silent brooding mental manipulator, Cooper the jokester who loves some good rope play, and Hendrix the leader, with a short fuse but also the craziest of their trio. The boys show back up at an opportune moment when Lexi needs them most.
This isn’t a sweet romance; these guys are dark and depraved. Their relationship is taboo, and unconventional. Lexi can’t help but love them as they are. It’s fast paced, filled with spice and debauchery. It’s a fast read but make sure you check the trigger warnings. I would NOT call this a sweet read with stable characters. If you like your guys as possessive, and blood thirsty as me, this is for you. It’s short and action filled. I really enjoyed it and for her first RH Rory did a fantastic job. I look forward to seeing what she does next in this shared world; she’s quickly becoming a one click author for me. 🖤
Violent Peak is a dark, taboo, reverse harem romance where we follow Lexington, and her three step-brothers, Hendrix, Jasper and Cooper. They've always been close but as she became of age, their relationship turned into something more. Their protectiveness and obsession with her knows no bound and I really loved that about them, man obsessed is one of my favorite trope so if there's three of them? Sign me up!
The spice was great, Lexington was a real spitfire, she didn't get intimidated by the guys even though they loved to intimidate her. The men each had their own personalities -Cooper was the easy-going, kinky one, Hendrix was a grump and loved to assert his dominance on Lex, and finally Jasper was the perfect in-between, he was my favorite.
It's a really short book and I wish it was a bit longer, that we'd seen the development of their relationship from the very beginning, I love when the forbidden part in a taboo relationship is emphasised, I would have loved seeing their relationship shifting from brotherly to something more, but I really liked it nonetheless!
Also loved seeing Elijah and Cadence from Indecent Infatuation!
ARC was kindly given to me by the author in exchange for my honest opinion!
