Marrying a demon and fighting a psychotic god, all part of a day’s work.
Annowan might have finally joined my family, but our marriage doesn’t mean we can afford to slack off!
My wives and I are on the trail of another of the Bitch Goddess’s missing generals. Our quest brings us to a desolate, cursed region, where we’ll have to contend with clockwork horrors, undead hordes, and my demonic grandmother-in-law.
Things might look rough, but I swore to rescue my sweetheart from the Bitch’s clutches, and nothing will get in my way!
Amazing story. One of the things I loved about this series compared to some of the other harem style books out there was that it wasn’t over done with too many wives like wild wastes for example, you fell in love with the characters but they didn’t make an appearance in the rest of the books and if they did it seemed like an after thought cuz there were just too many wives. I don’t want to be a hero was perfectly balanced and I can’t wait for the next book to come out.
As always another interesting adaptive world!!! Entertaining character interactions and a monster we can all get behind destroying utterly!!! I've always personally enjoyed this author's works and thus one doesn't disappoint!!
Oh, this has been a great series. Love the story the action, the adventure, the lovemaking keep you on your toes. That’s for sure. Awesome series. Definitely recommend it.
The quest goes on. Demons and orcs, elves and mind controlled slayers, a not very nice goddess, and the human protagonist caught in the middle. Plenty of action, a little sex, all in a light, fun read.
This is still good, but the series is starting to slow down.
I guess it's just that...well...the setting is still good, but it's the same as it was four books ago, so it's less novel. The characters are still good, but a lot of the interesting character growth has happened.
There's nothing to dislike here, it's just...well....feels like we're reaching the point where the series should naturally conclude. But the plot isn't there yet, so things are starting to drag.
