Some books have been previously published as L.G. Rollins
Laura Rollins has always loved a heart-melting happily ever after. It didn’t matter if the story took place in Regency England, or in a cobbler’s shop, if there was a sweet romance, she would read it. Life has given her many of her own adventures. Currently she lives in the Rocky Mountains with her best-friend, who is also her husband, and their four beautiful children. She still loves to read books and more books; her favorite types of music are classical, Broadway, and country; she loves hiking in the mountains near her home; and she’s been known to debate with her oldest son about whether Infinity is better categorized as a number or an idea.
This is a wonderful collection of five complete novels, each about one of the Lockhart siblings. There's enemies to lovers, childhood friends to love, fake relationship, and more. Everything you could want in a box set. I enjoyed every one of these books. It was fun to see each of the siblings get their own happily ever after, and I liked that each of their paths to love were different.
#1 Wager for a Lady's Hand is Lord Sheldon Lockhart and Marianne's story. This is one of my favorites because of the suspenseful element in it. #2 Lily for my Enemy is Lord Felix Lockhart and Jocelyn's story. This is definitely an enemies to love story. It was fun to see how they would be able to be together. #3 A Heart in the Balance is Lady Cassandra Lockhart and Nigel's story. It was fun to see a different side to Cassandra. #4 A Farewell Kiss is Lord Quintin Lockhart and Ether's story. This is a sweet childhood friends to love story. #5 A Well-Kept Promise is Lady Venetica Lockhart and Edmund's story. This was another favorite. I was happy that Venetica found someone who understood how it felt to have a chronic illness.
There's something for everyone in this box set. I received a complimentary copy to review but also bought a copy from Amazon for my personal collection. All thoughts expressed in my review are my own.
Oh, how I adore this series! I love how each of the Lockhart siblings finds love in such a unique way. The stories draw me in and keep me glued to the page. So much sweet romance and lots of fun banter, and the Lockhart family dynamic is just heartwarming.
Highly, highly, recommend this series to anyone who love sweet regency romance. Just be warned, though. Once you start reading them, you won't want to stop!
I received a complimentary copy but a positive review was not required.
I truly enjoyed each of these books in the Lockhart family series. Each story felt original and creative. I loved the characters as well as the romance. The swoon was delivered while staying completely clean and wholesome. I really enjoyed that these books had non-traditional plots while still fitting very nicely in the Regency era. I have purchased all five of these in paperback.
Boxed sets are some of my favorite ways to read books. Getting to go from one story to the next without waiting for the next book release. I mean, does it get any better than that?! And you are going to want to get to each one of these books in the set after finishing the one you just read because the characters draw you in. At least they did for me, and I couldn't wait to see how each of the Lockhart siblings would find love.
And find love they did, each one of them in their own beautiful and creative story. Five different siblings, unique in their own way, with five different love stories while also being clean and having all the swoon to melt your heart. The Lockhart Series is a must-read series 3on my shelf and I definitely would recommend it to other readers who enjoy romance in the Regency world.

I am in the middle of this wonderful series from Laura Rollins and am absolutely loving it! Laura Rollins is one of my favorites! Her stories - the scenes and characters- leap off the page! Her stories always seem to have a thread of kindness and sweet romance that I can’t get enough of! Below are some of my favorite quotes from the series so far 💕 💗 “She could see why this room was his favorite and not a small piece of her yearned to belong here.”
“Sheldon, however, was starting to feel quite like a pawn himself; small, insignificant, and quite unable to do the one thing necessary to protect the lady he cared about.”
“She always looked so at peace in a garden. Perhaps it was just her love for flowers showing through. Perhaps it was that she was every bit as lovely as the blooms around her.”
“Yes, he was the best man she knew and yes, she would admit that to herself and anyone else who wanted to know.”
Fantastic series! Beautifully written, each story can be read as a stand-alone, but they are very enjoyable being read in order. The Lockhart Series follows the lives of the five Lockhart siblings. I love the different personalities depicted by the siblings, their strengths, their weaknesses, and the obstacles they must overcome to find love. This is decibel one of my favorite series ever. Each book is a delight to read. Normally in a series there is one or two books that really stand out, but in this series they are ALL fantastic!
I enjoyed this series about the Lockhart family very much. It is always fun when you finish one book and the next in the series is a new beginning. After being so involved with the characters it is hard to let them go. Feeling this way proves the skill of the writer. A five star to me would be Jane Austin so a four is high!
Loved this box set. The stories flowed and they were so varied that I couldn’t put them down. The stories tackled sensitive subjects in a delicate way. I will definitely be reading the other books written by Laura Rollins.
My only niggle are the odd modern words/slang that are more American vocabulary rather than that of the British regency era.
Loved this series! Well written , full of struggles, tears, and love
I loved this series and the love stories of each one of the Lockhart siblings. I laughed and cried and found my heart full as I read Bout struggles, suffering, uncertainty, and joy. Will read again and again.
First time I have read this author and I throughly enjoyed each of the siblings stories. As always most are predictable but the ‘how they got there in the end’ were delightful tales.
