Sequel to "Hot for Teacher"! Draco and Hermione embark on the next adventure of their lives together. They swiftly find that falling in love might be simple, but relationships are tricky. Through their friendships, insecurities, and love for each other, they learn what it means to be someone's Forever.
The story picks up where Hot For Teacher leaves off. The kids go back to school, Draco and Hermione get engaged, Draco deals with Hermione's protective dad, Scorpius and Rose continue to date, Albus thinks he may be in love, James shares a secret, Harry quits ministry job and becomes an 'artist', and Ginny manages the chaos. Preparing for a wedding, navigating difficult parents, and planning for the future is challenging, but entirely possible and worth it when doing it with someone you love.
My Thoughts:
While An Indefinite Amount of Forever wasn't as entertaining or funny as Hot For Teacher, it's still pretty enjoyable. The story focuses on the kids, and Draco and Hermione's life leading up to the wedding. Since there's a lot more teen-romance, expect more fluff, less spice. But of course, there's a few spicy Dramione scenes - don't you worry.
While I enjoyed the vulgarity and ridiculous situations in Hot For Teacher, I was disappointed and a bit confused by it in An Indefinite Amount of Forever. It just seemed like the author was trying to one-up everything with *shock value* from the first story. It was over the top and I found it distracting.
Overall, not a must read, even if you enjoyed Hot For Teacher.

This is an alright sequel. A good glimpse into Dramione’s life after the original series is always a welcome. I havent read much Dramione fanfic that features their children. So, more stories involving Albus, Scorpious, James and Rose’s is a breath of fresh air when Albus and Scorpious’s friendship is so strong despite their diametric opposite personality. They both seemed rather mature as compared to other characters their age, especially Scorpious. Albus can be a little awkward and display characteristics of being on the spectrum, which adds more flavour to his character and makes him just as endearing.
As spoilt as Draco was, the entire redemption concept is very rewarding. Honestly, it does wonders to my poor Hogwarts craving heart when I see dramione where Draco is sweet, charming and a true gentleman. It's just soooo cute!
Obviously I am in love with Draco Malfoy and his son in this one. Though I wish Hermione could be the biological mom to Scorpius, seeing her as a stepmom isn't as terrible as I imagined it would be. The Hermione in this is the typical book version. Arrogant, smart and literally does whatever she wants.
But the best part about this one is that this book is hilarious. I loved how every one of the best characters in Harry Potter appeared so comedic. Harry Potter and Ginny are literally everything. And Albus. God . For once I might be having good feelings about him. Honestly, the cursed child was a disaster I never want to lay eyes on again.
I loved this… these 2 books felt like a family. These characters… the adults, the kids… I loved it. I loved seeing the flawed parts where they have kids who are assholes sometimes and they fight in their relationships and sometimes don’t know what the right thing to do is..
It felt like I knew all these characters so well… I loved it.
Also I ADORED how you got near enough everyone’s perspective at some point!!
just like this is everything #1 was this one of the most hilarious Dramione's ive ever read. i really loved it. if you want to laugh a lot i would defenitely recommend this book. i also fell even more in love with the characters.
An excellent follow up to Hot for Teacher. These characters are just all so funny, and again, while I don't believe teenagers that young really speak like that, I loved every single minute of this fic.
-more funny and smooth Albus, Rose/Scorpius together, James’ bullying explained, Harry detours from Auror stuff, Draco and Hermione get engaged. Hermione’s Dad is a piece of work.
