Inuit has lost nearly everything in his life. His home burned, his family slaughtered, his pack scattered or dead, he is nothing when he is found dying in the snow with a small pup in his arms.
He is rescued, given a new home, a new family, a new name.
But he is haunted by the memories of death and destruction. Proclaimed the new Alphason of the weakened RustClaw pack, he struggles with the sense that he can never fully belong to this new pack, much less lead them to a better future. Nothing feels like it is his, but duty pushes him forward.
Inuit struggles for years to accept his place, to feel anything for his adopted pack other than a cold sense of duty. Only a few wolves can penetrate the emotionless walls he's built...
Until he sees his mate deep in the forest. A golden-eyed she-wolf, as quick and nimble as a cat and as clever as one, too.
She is a wild creature, unlike anything Inuit has ever encountered. She runs, he chases, she evades, he captures. She is the center of his world, his hope, his luna.
Willa has secrets that haunt her. Raised by her mother and father in complete isolation, all she has left in the world are the inherent skills to survive taught by her violent father and bitter warnings of the Pack told by her mother.
He is intriguing, this male with walnut eyes, but there is not a bone in Willa's body that trusts him. He calls her 'his' but she cannot be owned. She is Untamed.
The bond between them is powerful. But, their seemingly separate pasts are tangled together in a way that they never dreamed possible. Family, old and new, remembered and forgotten, known and unknown, have created a web of secrets and lies that they must unravel before taking their place as the leaders of the RustClaw.
Separate, they are strong. Together they are invincible.

Very (overly) long story with the H now grown and a strong Alpha. The h lived wild, she is wild and has to acclimatise to so much during their intense relationship. Another great couple in the series.
longer and a bit more abstract than the previous books
But wel worth the read.
I love the world that Leona Page created. This book could be read as standalone but I would highly recommend reading the second book in this series before this one.
The narrative in this book is more abstract as we spend time in Willa's mind. She is a bit wild and her thoughts reflect concepts in an interesting manner.
The secrets and machinations in this book is a lot to keep track of and the story threads could have done with some simplification.
However, the prose is discriptive and the narrative strong. A delight to read.
Wow this book is absolutely fantastic and will definitely have you engrossed from the beginning until the end. It's compelling and captivating and tantalizing and filled with suspense and action packed and chemistry and romance and heartbreak and we love our werewolves and witches.
A lot of inconsistencies. The info presented to us was often confusing. The font colour would change too at random times (brighter/darker). I found it annoying trying to keep the characters straight with what the main female character called people instead of their names. Spelling and grammar mistakes. I probably won't read anything else by this author.
This is the last book in the series and I admit I have mixed feelings. Willa is a wild wolf and is Inuit 's mate. Throughout the series we follow In. who is now 22 yrs. Will a grew up in the wi!d and there is something "Tarzan" about her in the sense that like all the books we get to read her internal thoughts.
I have to admit that filing Willas "nicknames" that she gives to everyone she meets was at first interesting and entertaining but at some point because exhausting. Her thoughts were structured and while I understand the character the author tried to build, she and across as a psycho at times and a very innocent robot. I found it extremely hard to relate. In addition to the "double names" for everyone due to Willa's nicknames for them and their actual names, we have In's "3 forms". Human, wolf and the Macatiir which also has its own personality.... THEN the names of the packs, the locations they travel, the politics AND the history - I lost it.... From some point I wasn't entirely follow in the plot and what I was reading, but tried to "swing" it on intuition and general vibe.
I REALLY liked the second book in the series about Lyri, which I think was a best, which made me stick to this one till the end (whereas the first book made me very uncomfortable with the age gap and over-dominant Teague) and the third I didn't even want to read), so I had high expectations for this one and despite the compliments and high rating, was a disappointment.
I really wanted to give this book 5 stars but I couldn’t. I really enjoyed Willa and Inuit. They make a great pairing and I loved reading about such a strong FMC.
My main issue like many other readers is the organization of this book and this series. Unfortunately, I can’t read any books in the series. It’s too complicated to understand.
Heads up the FMC has nicknames for all of the characters even though other they have names that the FMC here’s. This is silly to me because the FMC isn’t dumb. She memorizes words in the dictionary so why is she unable to remember names. I get it, the author wants to give her personality but it’s too complicated to follow.
The other issue is this book feels like it wasn’t planned and the backstory wasn’t previously developed before writing. It would be really helpful for future readers if the author went in and designed a map with all of the pack territories from the entire series and had it before the first chapter of each book. Typically, authors don’t need to do this, but for this book the author places so much relevance into the physical location of each territory it’s needed.
I’d also recommend a family tree/pack tree. Each of these books is typically over 500 pages so it’s like two books in one. With that being said the author introduces A LOT of side characters, all of whom are apparently important. Not only that, these books are written in different time periods so some of the side characters are children/elders of previously introduced characters. Super confusing to follow.
Towards the end I was just pushing through because it got so complicated to understand. I think this author writes fresh stories but a little more organization would make them easier to understand.
I don't know why I read this. I guess I'm a glutton for punishment since I hated the other two books I've read in this series. I just want to know why Jax is still alive and gets to take another mate, given his loathsome actions in Unforgivable. He's an incompetent leader, and he should be dead. He should definitely not be allowed to be alone with females or have any authority over others. There's no reason to allow his terrible decisions to affect anyone else.
It's interesting that each of these books contains male characters who are fairly comfortable grooming and sexually assaulting barely legal females (and young males), and there's always at least one cruel female who is blamed for the males' disgusting behavior (they also blame the moon sometimes, which is weird). In this book, we learn that Alpha Jax is a complete pushover who has no common sense or ability to predict likely consequences of his actions -- and they WERE his actions, regardless of how unhinged his ex is. He doesn't get a pass for allowing the horrifying sexual assault of an innocent female just because his mate told him to do it. That's ridiculous. Are we supposed to believe that this alpha male, the leader of his pack, can't overrule a thoroughly abominable suggestion? Weak.
Anyway, if you love reading about misogynistic males, manipulative females, and sexual assault with few or no consequences for the perpetrators, this may be the book for you 😒... and I need to stop subjecting myself to this author's writing.

Another awesome read. I'm glad this time a true mating worked straight from the get go well almost. I loved how unit grew up to be the beast he was meant to be his wild Luna witch Willa was tough strong amazing I laughed how she gave each character she met a nickname like blue star for Rhet laughing man for Eliza gnome for Elias his grandfather oh and Rosster for Diego who we met in Carmichaels story when Diego mated the witch of the coven. So many secrets, betrayals, and lies around Unuits and Willas's parents' history will shock you. These series are not standalone, very steamy scenes, and multiple POV'S. Amazing world building. I'm glad Jax was not the bad guy, really, and he got a hea, too. Wow, I'm worried about alphason Cullen Grim Teagues Nephew. I'm wondering if he will turn evil and ruin Grimaw pack. In the next book, alphason Conner Teagues, son looks like he's not mateless like his dad. I hope we read how Pup sarj is doing in his pack now and heals his mateless broken heart after trying to mate Willa. We have the new King and Queen now who conquered the war very impressive.
Okay so I did really like this story but it was long and there were so many character with multiple names per character I got kinda lost. Some stuff I just gave up on when I was too confused. 3.5 stars
H finds his mate but she’s being living in the woods her whole life and has only ever interacted with her parents. Doesn’t know anything about mates, cellphones, politics. I really like both the H and h in this book. So when H tries to take/mate her she runs so he chains her to him. H is 22 and h is 18. No OW drama except for one scene when H tries to protect an former female pack member but he didn’t have feelings for her but the h didn’t know so her feelings are hurt. The H and the h have only been with eachother even the first kiss. The plot is all the packs are fueting and balance needs to be restore. HEA.

Definitely could have used an editor to clean things up and clear up some confusion. There are a lot of characters but what makes it tough is that Willa gives everyone nicknames. So sometimes it’s hard to follow. If you think the beginning is a bit slow, just keep going. I freaking loved it. It’s not super steamy but the characters are obsessed with each other. Absolute devotion. And even though the writing had some typos and a few other issues, I still really liked it. Definitely going to be reading this author’s other books.
This book is crazy! Ok, now I liked it, and it was a crazy storyline of twist and turns at every page. But! It was just too much for me. My mind hurts with all the information this book was dropping. The secrets. Every time you thought we were through it all, more crazy was added. Now this isn't exactly a bad thing for readers who love a book that has a huge storyline that never quits. But it was definitely to much for me. 3 1/2 stars
I enjoyed the book but found it confusing at times. I liked getting to see the other characters from the series and the conclusion to some of the storylines that were started in earlier books. It had a great overall storyline and great characters. Unfortunately, my overall impression of the book was confusion, a lot was happening from many different points of view, it was hard to keep track of everything.
There could've been at least one more page at the end, though. Come on lol! I think this is my favorite so far, although I have enjoyed them all. I noticed Conner's book is next and next to last, for now, but I thought something would be written for Sarj or that he would somehow be tied to In and Willa. I guess we'll see. I enjoyed this book so much that I spent 3/4s of my workday finishing it 🫣 So good.
OMG, this is truly the GREATEST story I've ever read about shifters and witches, I LOVE it 😍. This story has so many twists and turns that it was impossible to put down 😄. I guarantee that you'll Love all the characters, even the Bad ones 😃. Fantastic storyline, insane situations, intense emotions, yummy sexy scenes and a great HEA (almost) 😉. Thanks so much Leona, I truly hope there is more to this story, cuz I can't wait to read it 🤓.
This book was sooo good. Wild wolf meets her mate. He is super jealous and possessive. And soooo alpha. This book was soooo good. All the drama, all the angst, world building was on point. Loved all the twists and turns, And of course the smexy times were the best !! A definite must read!
Leona Page really out did herself with this amazing new story featuring Willa and Inuit. I have been waiting for Inuit’s story and what a twisty turny story he and Willa have! It has all the steamy bits and emotional pulls a reader loves! I have questions about whose story will be next and I can’t wait to read it!!
Love the way Leona writes, so many journeys with this author, love fantasy and the sex is written well. Love the thesaurus adventure that winds through the wilds in this story. The laughs, the heartbreak, the evil men and women do balanced with simple joys and devotion.
This one was A LOT. I definitely put it down for a while……and then couldn’t remember which names Willa had for who. I loved the other ones so much and I wanted to love this one too, but it was just too much. And that’s funny because it was the first one in the series with just a pair of mates!
Although I liked the storyline and found it unique, it was very hard to follow. I couldn't figure out who was related and who wasn't and who belonged to what pack - very frustrating when you're trying to picture everything as you read.
Another wonderful and fantastic creation. This is one of my top 3 best series of books. A must read . Adore the way the two characters were written and interacted
Best is how each book is a standalone but characters carry through all the books
Intriguing, dark. I like how the characters intertwined since the 1 book. I know all of them and of course I have my favourites. Willa and input are the most.
I like this series and had waited a long time for this one to come out. That being said, I almost gave up and didn’t finish it. It started out slow but I am glad I stuck it out. Good book overall, liked the first two better.
A true born Alpha and a wild Luna! A match made in heaven! I loved this book from beginning to end! There were definitely a lot of twists and turns but very thing stayed on track! Willa is definitely my Luna lol!
This is one of the best stories I’ve ever read. Definitely one of my favourite PNR Stories ever!
It’s full of extraordinary characters, heartfelt moments and plot twists that had me gasping out loud. It’s a really special story and I wish I could read it again for the first time.
This story was beautiful…sad..happy…sexy…And totally Alpha Strong possessive of his female!!! Love how it all tangled together and maybe more to come….
