Jaką prawdę odkryją w ciemności, pośród wiru intryg i skrywanych uczuć?
Definitely better paced than the last volume and a little less...edgy, thankfully. This one turned out to be quite sad in some areas and ventured into a story I wasn't expecting at all, and Freya is really showing her growth as a leader. So ready for volume 7 to drop.
Very THANKFUL that this Manga was strictly about the plot. The last volume was too much of a surprise. I still stand by what I said. Volume 5 could be skipped altogether if you aren't okay with that suggestive lolita spicy content. I was not. Plot wise VERY GOOD.
Volume 5 was such a major dud that I questioned whether or not I would continue on with this series (compounded by how long it takes for these to get translated - around 6 months between volumes) but I saw that my library had acquired this and there was no wait so I borrowed it. This volume is paced much better and cuts back on the creepy overly sexual stuff from the previous volume. I don't really remember what's going on from the previous volume, and this volume felt like incredibly short and I was surprised when it ended, but it wasn't bad. I think I will continue reading this series if my library keeps acquiring them and they're available to borrow - I won't be getting on any waiting lists for this series.
♔█♕▓ꝒⱤƖƝƇƸ☩ƑⱤƸƳ𐤠░♚▒ ♛ Freya and Julius are both captured by unknown captors. To escape, Freya sets out on a journey to gain the aid of a woman named Edda who harbors many answers to the secrets that lie deep in the Nachtian court. Julius is being tortured in Prince Edvard's place while Alek returns from his mysterious encounter to provide help. Will new alliances be forged?
Prince Freya Vol 6 was better than its precursor. This volume had the aspects I enjoyed about the Freya series in his volume. I enjoyed how the weird romantic situation, unlikable love interests, and odd scenes were tuned out for an action-packed, plot-twist-filled volume. I must say that despite Julius having his moments, other than that, I tend to despise his character. He seemed to have a submission/loyalty to the original Prince Edvard too. . . I wonder if he only loves the mantle Freya carries and the person she impersonates rather than her. (Would Julius love her if he met her and she was never playing the part of Prince Edvard?)
Alek is a character I like, so to have him constantly disappearing and not getting much time in the story is disappointing. Although there are certain aspects of Freya's character I like, others, such as her tendency to love attention from many men and kiss them, in fact, have been emphasized a lot in the past two books. I just wish Freya could set boundaries on how people should touch her? I hate the male characters just grabbing her, pushing her to the floor, grabbing her wrists, kissing her, and grabbing her around the waist or accidently falling on her chest?
The discoveries and action in this book pushed the plot forward. I don't like the love triangle. I liked Alek, but I feel like Freya will hurt him more than help him. So I wish they could just be friends. Julius and Freya are something I am against. He is possessive of her. Dimitri hasn't done anything but lust for Freya and makes threats to take down other kingdoms.
This was a very informational volume in the series. We are getting more and more from our male characters in the series, and I am truly interested and invested in the future of this one.
Maybe it’s just me but I feel like the plot is very messy. Or maybe I’m not super invested. I don’t know. So is it going to be Julius or Alek? I don’t really care at this point.
