Sick F*ck #3

Born on Third

Rate this book
Third times a charm? Alex Cole never gets that lucky.

The cornerstone of private investigation—insurance fraud. Doing it, obviously. And then there’s the taxi job. Run someone to the airport while being chased by who knows what? Mix that in with drugs, party boats, and the Virgin Mary, and you’ve got a pretty standard day for one Mr. Cole.

All for a lousy pay cheque.

Full of infanticide, evisceration, sadists, and snuff, Alex Cole is part private detective, part mercenary … all sick f*ck. Cole Investigations is open—once more—for business.

Born on Third is an extreme horror novella, painted with the blackest of humour. Consider this a trigger warning for just about everything.

Story 5/5
Narration 5/5

I loved it!!
Sick F*ck III by Ash Ericmore is well written, perfectly bloody and brutal.
Alex is one of my favorite fictional psychopath. He has no empathy, has a terrific sense of humor and he doesn’t discriminate. If you pay him well he can solve all your problems. He can kill anyone, whatever the gender or the age. He has a preference for murder, arson and torture. But be careful, you should never steal his money.
I F*cking love this character!
I hope Ash Ericmore will write Sick F*ck 4!!!

This has to be the best one of the Sick F*ck series so far.
From start to finish this book had me hooked and I couldn't put it down!
There was no "strange or weird" middle section like #1 & #2 books
This was grossly bad arse stuff with some disturbing scenes.
I don't think that I will ever look a white mouse the same way ever again!!! 🐁🐭🩸🩸
Ash Ericmore has an incredibly sick mind and he is quickly becoming one of my favourite extreme horror authors.
The series is well worth a read if you can stomach the gore, violence and some graphic gruesome bits.
5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟's for being what I like a book to be!! Full of Sick F*ck stuff 🤢🤮

It’s Christmas in London and Alex Cole is the grinch. Will his heart grow three sizes on his latest job? Will transporting a holy figure to the airport to flee the country help him change his violent sociopathic ways? Probably not, but you never know if a Holiday Miracle is in the works!

I loved this third entry in the series! More blood, more gore, and surprises throughout!

“This was going wrong. Why? Alex thought. Why does this always happen to me? I just wanted to do a simple child abduction job.”

I really can’t get enough of the main character (I picture Vinnie Jones as Alex) as I’m reading and can’t help cringing and laughing out loud due to his antics.

Funny and gory

Love Alex Cole has a private detective with no morals and a couldn't give a s##t attitude. He will do just about anything to suit himself. But he has a job to do and when he is interrupted and money is involved, well nothing will stop him. On his journey he comes across some gory, sickening set ups that Cole doesn't hesitate to not become a part of. But does he succeed? And what of the job? Coles funny one liners and self preservation is more important, apart from getting his money back. A fascinating story with some shocking scenes. Definitely recommend.

The confidence that Alex has when going against other people is astounding given the actual rate of success. I'd say it's all the dumbest of luck he's got on his side, and very little skill. A ton of humor and inappropriately timed boners (Alex's, not mine) makes for unforgettable tales.

Alex Cole

I've missed Alex his shenanigans never fail to make me chuckle. How he finds himself in these hilarious binds and emerges alive is a miracle.
In true Ericmore fashion there's dark humorous amongst the carnage.

Poor Alex Cole can’t catch a break.
He takes on these jobs not knowing what he’s gunna get himself into.
Sick F*ck III: Another brilliant read about a dodgy private investigator who has sex on the brain, gets into some awkward and sticky situations, but most importantly he gets the job done… in his own way.
Brilliantly written as always.
Short story which can help my small brain.
One person POV.
Gruesome sex scenes.
Grapes.
🩸 in most chapters if not all.

Oh my. I feel like this was so good, it was over before I knew it. Alex is ruthless and pure IDGAF which weirdly makes him excellent at his job. Don't expect a hero and you'll be fine. The worst part, I didn't see a part four and it ruined my day.

wow

Book three is messed up. I think I like it better than book two because this one was more fucked up. Never will I want to come in contact with the Dildo of Death(DoD). It ended like there was going to be another one. I bet the next book is going to be more fucked than this one.

This series just gets better and better.

Mary and Joe need Alex’s help - to get JC out of the country. From the jaw dropping opening scene, to the last page, this is full of inventive gore and depravity alongside the darkest of dark Ericmore humour. A fabulous wrecked-um reunion with the D.o.D. !!

Book 4 - here I come!

There were several moments where I had to set my kindle down, cover my face, and take deep breaths to keep from howling at the absurdity in this book. Glorious.

"Alex glanced to all the children. They were all about the same sort of age, about two, maybe three feet."
Yep, exactly how I age them as well!
