These hot bikers are called Knights for a reason. Get in their way and meet your maker.
Guardian
As the sergeant-at-arms of the Alpha Knights MC, it’s my job to protect the omegas we save from the twisted men who abuse them. It’s a bloody, violent job, but I’m damn good at it.
I’ve never been tempted by any of the broken women we rescue until Vienna lands in my lap. She’s more damaged than the others, but with a spark of fire that calls to me. I know from the second she locks eyes with me, she’s my mate.
And I’d walk through hell to keep her safe.
Vienna
I know exactly what alphas are. Vicious, heartless, and deaf to my pleas to stop. The bruises on my body are a testament to their cruelty.
But why do the Knights kill my abuser? And why is Guardian gentle and caring? The badass, tattooed biker looks at me like I’m more than what’s between my legs. Like I’m precious. Like I’m his.
The warmth in my chest tells me we’re bonded, but can I be brave enough to let him in when all alphas do is hurt me?
Alpha Knights motorcycle club is a dark romantic suspense series perfect for lovers of protective men, fierce damsels, fated mates, and romance that’s equal parts sweetness and heat. These bikers will fight for their club and their women, and they’re not afraid to get their hands dirty to keep their families safe. Each book stands alone with a HEA, but the characters are connected in each.
Leigh Kelsey is the author of romance and reverse harem books for anyone with a soft spot for steely women and the tortured men who love them. No matter what stories she's writing - vampires or shifters or bad boys - they all share a common thread of love, heart, and action. She is the author of the Lili Kazana series, the Moonlight Inn series, the Dead Space stand alone, and the Blacktower Prison for Supernaturals series, plus many more books.
It has inconsistencies, no depth, half of the book plot the other half... It missed depth and everything went in the span of 3-4 days? or something like that. I actually feel quite generous giving it 3 stars
and just like that i’m fully in my omegaverse era 🐺
this is a dark omegaverse romance, alpha mmc + omega fmc, heavy and dark themes (not between main characters) such as kidnapping, sexual assault, trauma, ptsd, kinky fuckery including knotting, breeding, biting / marking, duo pov, book one in series 🖤
vienna is an omega in this book world and omegas are the lowest of the lows in the societal ranks. they are submissive by default but when an alpha commands them to do certain things, they automatically obey. sometimes against their will. and vienna is currently held captive after getting kidnapped by a group of disgusting alphas. the things she went through, the things she was forced to do, just keeps piling up. she lost all hope in escaping and thinks all alphas are just like the ones who kidnapped her. the alpha knights is an motorcycle group full of alphas. they are the ones who rescue as many betas and omegas help captive. when the alpha guardian stumbled upon vienna while on a rescue mission, he immediately knew that she was his mate. his name fits his perfectly and as he brought vienna back to the knights’ home, he can’t help but fall deeper 🥹
vienna and guardian are absolutely meant for each other 🫶🏼 she needs someone who will understand without asking so many questions. and he is someone who will give his all without asking for something back. these two have grown so much with each other. they help one another in so many ways. guardian is so caring and gentle with vienna and she calms him down and makes him laugh 🥰 i love them !!
although this is a standalone and this couple gets a hea, the plot doesn’t end there !! i’m definitely going to continue this series 😍 i need to know what happened to that rogue knight 👀 i need to know warning’s story omg !!
i fear this series will take over my brain and i’m here for it 🧎🏻♀️
Be warned, this has some dark subject matter. I really enjoyed it though.
Vienna was kidnapped four months ago and was held hostage while being violated by multiple men, over and over again. Guardian's MC found her and rescued her. Guardian is almost the perfect hero! I took away one star because he offered to let her sleep with other people once they find out they're mates. Not my jam.
SAFETY: Virgin/celibate: no virgins, celibate hero OM/OW drama: none Cheating/sharing: none Triggers: abuse & SA HEA?: yes!
This M/F Omegaverse hits all the spots; wounded and traumatised omega, protective and honourable alpha, fated mates, as well as nesting, heat, knotting, soothing purrs, and growls. I liked both Vienna and Guardian, and I liked how the mate bond allowed her to trust him after all she had been through.
The only thing I don't like about omegaverse -- not this book, but I mean the omegaverse world in general -- is the helplessness of omegas, as Vienna points out in this story. She says that as an omega, she's helpless in the face of any alpha who growls her into submission (other books would talk about using the 'alpha bark'). It forced her to do and say things that she didn't want. This makes the omegas vulnerable to mistreatment and exploitation, and means that they essentially have no agency. It's grating and I haven't seen any book in which the omega has a way to counter the power of an alpha.
Anyway, back to this book -- I would say strong trigger warnings for sexual assault; we don't see it as it happens, but Vienna gets a lot of flashbacks so there are many brief snippets of it on page. The impact of the rapes and her time in captivity is never properly addressed, which is why I took off one star. Just because she's happy with Guardian now doesn't mean those memories will fade away, or the shame and humiliation can be easily forgotten (the alphas forced her to beg for it, and she did, because they used her biology against her). I would have liked to see her confiding in Guardian or one of the beta women in the MC, at least, if not go for therapy. She has to work through her past in order to truly be healed. I didn't feel that the healing was complete and leaving the story hanging this way did a disservice to Vienna.
Another reason for four stars is because we also don't get to see Vienna's reunion with her family. It makes no sense, because she was close to them, and the first person she calls after she is rescued is her mom. Yet she never makes plans to meet them? They don't want to rush over and see her immediately to assure themselves that she really is well? Perhaps she doesn't want them to see her in the condition she's in (bruised and half-starved), but then that should be mentioned in the story. We don't get to see Guardian meeting the in-laws, so to speak, and assuring them that he will keep Vienna safe from now on. We don't get to see them sizing him up to decide whether he would make a good mate for their daughter. This made the story feel unfinished.
A third reason for four stars instead of five is that Vienna appears to be a bit of a caricature. What do we really know about her? She is an omega, she likes to bake but hates to cook, worked from home before she was kidnapped, and... nada. We don't know what kind of job she did, her educational background, how old she is. And, once she is rescued, nothing is ever mentioned about her job or worrying about going back to work. Guardian never asks her about it. It is as if her life before the kidnapping never existed at all. We don't even know if she has siblings; her mother is mentioned but we don't know if her parents are divorced, or if she has lost her father, is she close to him... nothing.
We don't know much about Guardian either, like how did he come to know about the MC and join it, or what he did prior to joining it, and where he is from (hometown), what he trained for in terms of a job before he joined the MC. It made their relationship lack depth because Guardian and Vienna never had these getting-to-know-you conversations. He says his family are long gone -- what happened to them? There is just so little that Vienna and Guardian know about each other. Everything is based on the fated mate bond, which is great on its own, but at some point you have to move beyond that and get to know one another, because you're going to live together with this person for the rest of your lives.
Outside these three issues, the way Vienna got kidnapped seemed ridiculous to me. Her family was so conscious about her safety that she couldn't even go shopping alone, yet she doesn't follow her mom to the ladies' room in the mall? The incident which led to the final showdown also felt contrived. If they were already mated and the mate bond allows them to sense each other's emotions, how could she suddenly assume he loved someone else? Seems like her mate bond is not functioning properly or something. The author tried to put the blame on Vienna's traumatic past -- feeling too broken for anyone to love -- but I didn't quite buy it. Certainly she could feel this way, but once the bond snapped into place and she could sense Guardian's protectiveness, loyalty, and devotion, she shouldn't have doubted his commitment to her.
I liked that there were parts where Vienna also showed that she cared for Guardian's well-being, so that the caring wasn't all one-sided. However, I did want her to ask more questions about his scars and feel as strongly protective of him as he was of her. By the end of the book, they still haven't had a conversation about her job or what is she supposed to do in the MC compound as Guardian goes about MC business. I really think this needed to be addressed in order to make the story feel complete. She was also still getting flashbacks and being haunted by the things that had happened to her while in captivity. As a result, I didn't really feel settled and content in their HEA.
This was OK. It touched on really dark elements but as much as it was an extremely dark plot, it didn’t feel flushed out so it made it feel like the B plot. The ending was unsatisfying and extremely quick. Also, the Apple log is a time jump. It literally says three weeks later and then while they’re talking, they’re talking about the fact that she was kidnapped that same day. So someone explain to me how that’s supposed to work. 🤷🏻♀️
This MF omegaverse MC book was exactly what I wanted. it was a bit dark, with an overprotective alpha male and a timid omega female. The plot was simple to follow nothing fancy with a scattering of sex scenes.
The book could have probably used one more set of eyes before it got published just to point out timeliness issues and some random things that the author seemed to forget she mentioned.
But at the end of the day it was the perfect length and entertaining.
Be warned some of the content in this book is hard reading and might upset some folks. Vienna's story is heartbreaking with the amount of trauma that she went through. What I love the most about it was that Guardian was not what I'd expected he'd be. He's a rough diamond. The complete opposite of what you'd expect of a hardened biker. He was kind, compassionate and above all else he was careful with Vienna. It was endearing the level of consideration he took with her. Yes he was still all guns blazing violent with whomever deserved it in this book but at his heart he was a genuinely sweet guy. This was a great read and I can't wait to get my hands on more books from this MC in the future
An ARC landed on my Kindle April 21st. Knowing it goes live April 24th I dived right in and let me tell you, I was not disappointed!
This is a MF Omegaverse MC with darker themes throughout. Some of my favourite troupes.
This book focuses on the omega, Vienna and her alpha mate, Guardian. It is 167 pages jam packed full of detailed action, spice and very real emotions. I don't even care that I was able to predict the twists and turns because I was lost to the feelings their story invoked...
Her desperation, fear and terror. His fear, panic and rage. Her anger, determination (to endure, survive, live) and her underlying sweetness and nice. His nurturing, possessiveness and protectiveness.
Hell, I was irrationally irritated on Vs behalf at the complacency of the world around her.
The characters, relationships, storyline and wider world have been weaved together so intricately that I can't wait to get to know the others better as they change the world as they know it one Alpha Knight story at a time.
DNF @ 25%. The writing is serviceable, but not compelling me through the storyline. We regularly get explicit descriptions of the FMC's SA and the romance isn't exciting enough to make me think suffering through will be worth it.
This story is very sweet but needs continuity checks and edits. There are one or two instances of “rasped” being misspelled as “raped” which for a book with actual rape in it is very confusing to suddenly see in what you thought was a consensual scene. The final chapter before the epilogue takes place 3 weeks after the big tension scene, but refers to the big tension as earlier that day rather than a few weeks ago.
Guardian By Leigh Kelsey & Phobe Ash Alpha Knights MC #1 Omegaverse | MC | Dark
Looking for a dark and gritty omegaverse then you should check out Guardian. It's the first book in the Alpha Knights series by Leigh Kelsey and Phone Ash. This is a MF dual perspective omegaverse that shows the dark side to the ABO but combines it with the MC world. This book may have been a quick read but it was intense in every way possible. The steam was intense, all the sexy bits that you expect from and omegaverse was in this book and it was a lot but in a good way. The drama was intense, with kidnappings, forced bonds, sexual assault, and the violent situations was intense. This story went by in a flash but somehow manage to tell a full story that I really enjoyed.
In this world, there are some MCs (and other groups, I'm sure) that consist of alphas and betas that are evil af. They go around abducting men and women, omegas and betas, basically, anyone that's not an alpha, and sexually abuse them while treating them horribly. Sex slavery is what it is. There is also an abundance of physical and emotional abuse, these people are prisoners. Enter the Knights MC. They are a good group of people who go around rescuing people from this very situation without looking for anything in return.
The story is told from Vienna's and Guardian's perspectives. Vienna is an omega who was stolen by an alpha but was then rescued by Guardian. Vienna had some sass for an omega but her biology was used against her, making her obey alphas against her will. Her capture broke Vienna but with Guardian's help, she starts to find herself again. Vienna could have so easily given in to that broken part but she's determined to move on and she has the strength to do it.
I loved Guardian, he is such a good guy, a good alpha. He's patient, understanding, and caring, everything an alpha should be. His MC has been rescuing the victims so he has the experience and knows how to handle the situation but you can tell that it's obvious something more. The bond between Vienna and Guardian starts off tentative but grows stronger. These two needed each other in their lives and they may have had to go through a lot but everything works out in the end.
For such a fast-paced book, Guardian was an excellent story. A vigilante MC rescuing innocent victims from dark situations and dangerous alphas. A tale of abuse and rebuilding one's self after being so broken. Growing bonds between two people who both have darkness in their past but are managing to find the light together, creating something to be cherished, and finding a peace that might have been lost forever. I enjoyed seeing the bond between Guardian and Vienna, and how it grew, evolved, and became something they both will cherish. This book started with a lot of action and ended that way as well and yet still manage to make me connect with the characters and feel all the things.
Guardian is the first guy in the Alpha Knights MC to find his one. This was his story but his brothers are to follow, looks like Warning is up next and I'm really looking forward to seeing how the rest of the series will go, I'm hoping that there will be some crossover and I get to see some familiar characters along the way.
I liked the premise of the story...a Motorcycle Club who rescues Betas and Omegas from dangerous situations. I wish there had been more development of that arc. It's just background noise to what feels like an insta love story. And I just don't know that I can connect to insta love right after the FMC has been just rescued from a kidnapping/sexual assault experience.
I definitely felt sorry for Vienna. I think being an omega must suck, especially if an alpha can purr for 5 seconds and force you to go to sleep. She was skittish, afraid, suspicious... and she should be! That part of her character felt authentic and maybe her and Guardian being mates helped their relationship develop that fast but it just felt rushed especially after months of abuse.
I enjoyed the MMC Guardian. He's incredibly patient and intuitive. I like that he was willing to give Vienna space, and everything or nothing, whatever she needed. It's nice to see a MC that isn't drug or weapons running too!
There were a few things that should have been further developed. The single mention of a phone call to her mother...(the woman she was with when she was kidnapped!!) was just thrown in and then never mentioned again. It didn't seem like their relationship was estranged in the beginning of the book so the lack of acknowledgement there was weird. And the description/development of the MC... their members and their mission etc. I can only remember 2 other members. Maybe more were mentioned and I forgot? (I just read the book yesterday.) Idk. Maybe it'll develop in future books.
If you are a fan of Omegaverse, pick this up. It was a quick read and I will most likely read future books by these authors, just not soon. Right now I'm over omegaverse and the constant visualization of women/omegas being doormats or victims.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
First things first... the plot itself was good. 🔥 Protective men 🔥 Fated mates 🔥 Omegaverse 🔥 Sweet omega rescued from bad situation 🔥 MMC who is only ever wonderful to the FMC
It was a bit predictable but that wasn't really a bad thing in this case. Our FMC is rescued from abuse and is definitely suffering PTSD but she isn't a total wimp either. For plot ONLY I would probably rate as 'just ok'. This would make for a good palette cleanser book for someone who has been reading heavily involved plot lines a lot lately. This would also be a good starter book for someone who hasn't read Omegaverse before.
The issue I had with this book is totally a me thing.... The MMC has a pet name for the FMC... "precious" Now, I react to that nickname in much the same way as people react to the word "moist". I don't really know WHY but that nickname just makes me a little nuts and he uses it in place of her given name almost exclusively. I'm not sure how to explain it other than it made it a real struggle for me to get through this book because I would cringe every time he called her 'precious'. It's TOTALLY a me-problem but yeah.
I would recommend to someone looking for a short, easy Omegaverse story. I will likely read the sequels.
A cute & quick omegaverse which was exactly what I was craving! The whole MC dynamic with the omega/alpha trope was a new experience and it did not disappoint!
“𝘾𝙖𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙡 𝙞𝙩, 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙤𝙪𝙨?”
While it’s not super dark, the situation Vienna finds herself in is darker than other omegaverse books I’ve come across, so be aware of that, but in true alpha fashion Guardian with his protective and nurturing nature is nothing short of swoon worthy.
“𝙄𝙛 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙖 𝙝𝙪𝙜, 𝙢𝙮 𝙖𝙧𝙢𝙨 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙣, 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙤𝙪𝙨,”
In terms of my rating, even though it’s four stars it a top level four, edging towards a 4.5 - the only thing was I wanted more, I appreciated the quick read but I still wanted to dive straight into another one to satisfy that need for more.
Lucky for me, this is a 3 book series so you can guess where I’m headed 😏
Started off well but rapidly went downhill. No explanations about anything and no plot.
I give up. I got this book through BookBubs and all I can say is I’m glad it was only 99p. The first book was way too short, this one was three times as long yet there’s still plot, and no explanations about alphas etc. How were they created? Having read alpha books before I know some of them have very different reasons for what happened and how the alphas etc are created. Vienna has a sister and a mother but we never meet them. Basically the whole book is s*x s*x and more s*x! It’s ridiculous.
Vienna is an omega who loves her life on fear of being taken by alphas. When she’s out shopping one day with her mother, for some reason her mother leaves her unprotected to go to the toilet. Of course she’s taken by a group of evil alphas and used s*xually. It’s really dreary and depressing as she’s with them for months before Guardian and the Mc rescue her. Guardian is her mate, and though Vienna is terrified at first she soon gets over it and it’s not written very well at all.
There is a tiny bit of a plot, but not much. I’ve been left with a bad taste in my mouth by this book. It’s way too rushed and Vienna’s trauma is just skipped over. 😡😡😡 I’m not reading anymore.
Leigh has created a dark and twisted world in which moraless Alphas torture and abuse omegas and in some cases beats. They use their alpha growl to get their bodies to work against the individuals and make them will participatants in their own torture.
Vienna is subjected to abuse and abuse of power at the hands of Alphas, leaving her broken and untrusting. However they weren't able to completely break the fire inside her and given the opportunity her strength comes out. Plaiuged by flashbacks of abuse and conditioned to expect physical abuse she battles between thus new world and the one she was rescued from.
Guardian is a fierce man who fights for those who can't fight for themselves and when a rescue attempt unveils more then he could ever have expected his life will never be the same again. He has a heart of gold and instantly feels the hint of the bond with Vienna he will do anything and everything possible to protect, heal and love her. He fights his natural instincts to give her exactly what she needs above everything else.
I love their banta, their connection and how they grow together. Their chemistry is hot and when the time comes it's beyond explosive.
I would have liked this more if Guardian hadn’t told Vienna she could sleep with one of his MC brothers during her heat if she didn’t want him. He wouldn’t like it but he would allow it. Like wtf kind of mate are you?!!
I also felt like there wasn’t enough time between her rescue and her first heat. I mean she was held captive and assaulted multiple times a day for four months and then like a week later she has her heat and goes at it with guardian for three days straight. No healing from her assault whatsoever. Even the language she used to describe her assault rubbed me the wrong way. It was so vulgar like “C after C in my P” and then she turned around and used the same terms when talking about mating with Guardian. Idk I didn’t like that at all.
Also she called her mom once after she got rescued and then it was never spoken about again. Like don’t you want to see your family after getting kidnapped?! Idk it was weird.
NO CHEATING NO OW DRAMA (no club girls really) SHE WAS ASSAULTED BY MULTIPLE PEOPLE DAILY FOR MONTHS TALK OF TRAFFICKING MURDER
Apparently, I’m not into Omegaverse, paranormal romance makes more sense than Human acts like Animals
Despite how much I found the genre is not my taste, I still enjoyed the story until Chapter 10 at least. I feel like the story lost my interest after Vienne had sex with Guardian and she made a nest and whatnot with Guardian being super possessive unnecessarily. Just too much for me. It’s very attractive slow burn until they burn all the bargaining chips they have left for readers. It’s like the catch is done after they did the deed. Because after that I just have to be obedient accepting the cliche of the kidnapping tragedy and all. Very easy to guess but sadly with romance you’d get that a lot unless it’s written and delivered smoothly so you don’t realize you’re served the same cliche. Hope author writes better stories but I do appreciate the richness of vocabularies and all sentences that I can see author is definitely 1st English speaker not like some authors who I think are ESL.
This was my first read from this author and this is the first book in a new series and let me tell you it starts off with a bang. My heart and soul freaking broke for Vienna. The ish she was put through and had to endure had me a hot sobbing mess but that woman is a fighter. While she may be a bit broken and a tad damaged this sorry bastards never broke her spirit. Now Guardian *swoon* this man is part of the Alpha Knights MC and is everything you want ur Alpha to be and OMG would he give Vienna anything. While he may be cut throat and ruthless when it comes to her that man is puffy in her hands. This baby is dark, gritty, emotional with some sweet and sexy AF moments that will absolutely leave you begging to see whose story is up next. I can’t wait for the next book!!
I mean this was a book. A good one? No. However, I did read the entire thing in less than 2 hours so I’ll give it that.
No world building, and even for a speculative book some stuff was just too unbelievable. For example, they’re in a contemporary world where one portion of the population can completely control another and you’re not saying a word about that? Come on. If you’re gonna introduce plot shaped things, you gotta give us something. I love a hurt/ comfort book with no plot but this almost felt like it wanted to do something, then decided no never mind, and left the beginnings of stuff happening in because why edit stuff out.
Also speaking of editing, some pretty unfortunate typos. It’s rasped. With and S
Great quick read Omegaverse Vienna is our FMC omega who although she fantasied about the idea of finding her fated mate, she resented her designation even before she was kidnapped by an alpha who forced a bond on her 😡 there are trigger warnings for what she goes through so do pay attention to those! However thankfully there is an MC going round saving omegas and betas from capture and those who are mistreating them 😃 she happens to discover her true alpha is her saviour! But can they build a future together especially when Viennas past comes back to haunt her? Or will she be kept safe by her Guardian angel?? 🥰
Vienna is an omega, captured by a group of abusive Alphas. She’s held for months until Alpha Knights MC storms the place she’s held and frees her. She meets Guardian, the sergeant of arms of the MC and an alpha her omega recognizes as her own. But with her broken and bruised, mentally and physically, it’ll take everything in her to reach out to that bond.
There’s definitely darkness in this story, from non-con to violence, blood and murder. But the Knights captured my attention and I really liked Guardian and his gentle way with Vienna. I’m glad to see their HEA.
OMG, this book, I couldn't put it down! Vienna was abducted, stolen from her mom in broad daylight, and forced into a reprehensible situation. Guardian was an Alpha who saved abducted women. I won't give up the plot, but you absolutely have to read this beautiful story that showcases the power of healing love and the strength of what it can do. The trauma is talked about in the story, it could trigger some people, but the redemptive parts of it are stronger. I love this series and I'm seriously addicted to it. Vienna and Guardian have work to do, but they are perfectly attuned to eachother and will have you rooting for them too!
I didn’t like the way this was written. I understand fated mates are Insta love and all, but this poor FMC had a hell of a traumatic experience. When she is rescued from that situation, she meets her fated mate. She is comfortable around him right away, and shortly after they’re banging. No progression of working through the trauma no real relationship building….everything just seemed a bit rushed. And the ending…it was weird. It kinda half wrapped things up. Yes it is part of a series so im not sure if the next book will wrap it up, but by the looks of it(the blurb for book 2) its not looking like it. But I’ll be happily left in the dark. Because i will not be continuing this series.
I love me a good MC book add in the fact it’s an omega verse book and you’ve got me hook line and sinker. The book was such a sweet read. Being saved from the abuse of a bonded alpha was something Vienna didn’t ever see possible. But after a life of dreaming of the perfect alpha fated mate to her omega and ending up being taken and abused really puts a damper on those dreams. Guardian not only saved her from her torture and abuse but her also picks up those broken pieces and puts her together again piece by broken piece.
Vienna believed all alphas were terrible after experiencing four months of constant abuse. When the Alpha Knights MC saves her, she comes face to face with her mate, Guardian.
Guardian was so patient with Vienna & made sure to take things are her pace. I love how he just wanted to take care of her needs & to help her heal.
Vienna has not had an easy go and that is very evident from the start of the book. If you are a fan of A/B/O books we all know that omegas can be taken advantage of. After being saved by Guardian and his group of Alphas who rescue those in trouble we see her start to grow. Vienna grows slowly but surely even while healing.
Whew Guardian... Talk about an Alpha. I loved the combination of Alpha and MC. Two things I love 😍 This was a short read but it definitely did not disappoint. Can't wait for the next book
I loved this heart-wrenching story of Omega Vienna and Alpha Guardian. She was taken from a shopping centre. Her body was used and abused by Alphas. Not knowing how long she had been kept or what day it was, Vienna thought she was going to die there. She had given up all hope and had stopped fighting the men who used her body without consent. One night she heard a commotion and a man appeared. He said he was there to rescue her, but was an Alpha too. How could she trust him?
Definitely one of my least favorite books. I think it’s just because I’ve now realized I’m not a huge fan of the whole kn0tting thing and the werewolf type thing. I also found my first pet name that I absolutely cannot stand… “precious”. 🤢🤢 the amount of times this was used in this book was just too much. Also, the words “purr” and “growl”. Omg, I literally cannot with these words. No one purrs and no one growls. I know this is fiction, but that’s my opinion and I have come to the realization, that this genre/trope is just not for me!
This was such an amazing book, I couldn’t put it down and read it all in one night! This was the first omegaverse book I’ve read with no shifting and I absolutely loved it! It had both a great plot, character development as well as relationship and world building. And a happily ever after ending as a bonus! I can’t wait to read more of this series and delve into the stories of the other characters as well!
