This series is weird, the premise being a magical barista matchmaker of sorts finds fated mates for his customers who are monsters. There’s an ongoing storyline but each couple has a HEA at the end of their book. These are short too so an overall easy read. However, I haven’t read them all or in order because they are all inclusive meaning they are MM, FF, MFF, MMF etc and I just want the men on monster men action. This one has been on my to be released list on Amazon and while I’ve missed a ton of books the story line was easy to follow and the sex was red hot. 🥵
Since this is fated mates, it all moved really fast but it was believable and this was one of the few MMM I’ve read where everyone felt like an equal. While some of the other books in this series have been all action and not enough couple, this was the opposite and I liked that a lot. The two fallen angels had the crazy anatomy I look for when reading monster romances and the scenes of the three of them together were super hot. This book made me want to go back and read some of the others even though they aren’t solely MM.

Another amazing novella by Clio! We have mated fallen angels and a human. Out of all of the novellas, Seth was probably my favorite human! He’s broody, a loner, dark, sensitive and tattooed. He a loner because he has been cursed to never die.
The dynamic between these 3 is everything I love about MMM romances. There is such an even balance of love and affection between all 3 of them. They truly balanced each other.
The spice in this was top tier. Who knew cockpockets could be so fun!

Is it possible for your most anticipated book of the year to be a novella??? Because they way this book has me crawling out of my skin for the last book is unreal! The end of this month can’t come any soon!

The barista is hesitant because with Gab and Cam being falling angels, Gab specifically can kill a human if he touches them but the Barista knows the perfect mate the these two. Seth has been the barista’s tattoo artists for years and is cursed. Will the three of them be able to make it work or will secrets of their parents keep them apart?
These three had me blushing and super giddy like a school girl all over again! Between their instant attraction to one another, Gabs internal battle between right and wrong when it comes to humans, and Cam’s pure heart of gold made this novella one of the best I’ve read so far!! And the father son relationship between the Barista and Gab made my heart melt. I couldn’t take it at times! You could feel all the love the Barista has for his stepson on every page! My little hurt couldn’t take how raw and real these characters were in this book and how they all came together in the end. I can’t wait for the next book!

Another fantastic installment by Clio!
This series has seriously become one of my favorites. This book was a fantastic MMM story that, as we are used to, was spicy freaking hot!
I devoured this book so quickly and I’m sad that I did because there is only 1 book left in this creature cafe series and although it’s my most anticipated one…especially after the cliffhanger in this book, I don’t want to see this series end.
If you’ve come to love this series as much as I have then you’ll definitely love this book as much as the others.

At this stage, it's gonna be a second chance romance endgame menage. Seth was one of my favorite humans in the series. I liked how well he blends with Gabe and Cam. I was curious when Gabe would pop back up, after being taken away by the Barista. The curse was interesting, as was his meeting with Lucifer. Cliffhanger ending for Trixie.

There aren't enough words to express how much I loved this book. Angels especially fallen angels are some of my favorite creatures and having a book that's dedicated to them. Chef's kiss! There is so much healing and love laced throughout this book. Yes, the steamy times were fun, but for me, the parts where Seth, Gabriel, and Cam were being vulnerable with each other were everything thing. There's a whole scene in this book with Cam getting a tattoo from Seth (Seth is the Barista's tattoo artist), and it freaking broke me. I sobbed so hard because that entire scene was so beautiful, so emotional, and in that one scene alone there was so much healing. And for me, I think it really shows how powerful, how healing, how emotional, getting a tattoo can be for some people. I say that because I literally just got a new tattoo that was very personal, emotional, and healing for myself. So this book was just checking off all the boxes for me. There's also a lot of humorous moments sprinkled out that added a little bit of lightheartedness to the book too. It was everything I had hoped and wanted from this book. Hands down, this is truly my favorite book of the whole series so far!

Gabe and Cam are two mates looking for a third to help heal old and new wounds and to complete their family. The Barista needs to find a human that can’t die due to Gabe’s ability to kill with a touch but of course he already knows someone. Seth, a tattoo artist, was cursed years and years ago, so long ago in fact that he doesn’t remember when or how it happened or who cursed him. He just knows he doesn’t age and after many monsters have tried to kill him, he can’t die. And he knows how lonely he’s been. So when the Barista offers him a chance for not one but two potential mates, he jumps on it.
This was a beautiful addition to the Creature Cafe series. The themes of healing for all three characters made me a little misty eyed here and there. I’m probably also emotional anyways because I know the next book is the final book.

I hated lying to myself, although I was successful at it more than I cared to admit.
While this story was still formulaic, it was hotter. A bit on the creepy/body horror side, but hot smut.
I liked that Cam had the aspect of eyes popping up. If you've read the biblical description of angels, you know they were meant to be creepy, tall things with eyes in their wings. Then, the fact his wing couldn't heal felt like such a juxtaposition from how in the other books the monsters have basically been immortal/all healing.
And finally ladies and gentlemen, The Barista's book next. Although, Trixie refusing to hide away, just on the basis of this-is-my-home and yet, she has seen everyone when they've gone through Lucy, is stupid bordering on TSTL territory.
Please let me not hate the finalé.

I've had this series on my TBR for a while and decided to give it a shot and I'm so glad that I did. Each novella in the series has a sweet steamy romance between a human and monster. The characters are intertwined and connected which I really enjoyed. I've really felt like I can connect with each couple so far. I've been devouring this series and I feel like the author did an amazing job creating unique captivating stories with engaging characters. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys steamy monster romance.

And we finally get more Lucifer lore!!! The more of these little books I read the more I enjoy that ever present sub plot about the Barista and Lucifer.
This book was definitely stronger on that subplot but it made sense with one of the angels being Lucifer’s son. I really enjoyed the way she handled the ‘a human that can never die’ archetype in this one. It was refreshing to have him still be a positive person despite having an experience that could easily turn someone jaded.
I would have like if they lingered a little more on the specifics of his curse and him processing that but that’s not really what these books are about. The spice was spicing and I had a great time.

I will never stop praising Clio for writing this series. Once again she hit it out of the ball park with this entry into the Creature Cafe. I was expecting the spice to be perfection, which it was, but what I never expected was for this one to be so emotional! I love the three males and their dynamic. Now we have the wait for the final and most anticipated book in this series, and I’m not sure I want to let this series go 😭

The end is coming soon and I am not ready for this series to end! The Barista has paired up Gabe, Cam, and Seth and it was just beautiful. You can clearly see how perfect they are for each other. I turned to look at Gabe and then froze, fighting off a laugh.
Seth was standing in the kitchen doorway, ass naked, watching the two of us while eating a piece of toast.
He waved his hand, smirking. “Don’t mind me. I was enjoying the show.”
I liked the M/M/M dynamic (which surprises no one I'm sure) and the spice was good =) A little more story progression and we're finally at the Barista's book next!

Yeh this book is wild and omg so sweet! Cam is a sweet fallen angel baby that you just wanna roll around in his nest with (when he’s not being a dom daddy to darling Seth) Gabe is such a unique character and I’m glad to say I now know and love his anatomy (hidden appendages included 😏) and as always their cheeky little human Seth makes these fallen angels fiercely protective which we love!
