Billionaire Bad Boys #3.6

Red, White, & You

Rate this book
City-wide power outages.

A failed BBQ at Wes’s BAD restaurant.

A last-minute escape out of NYC to enjoy the Fourth of July at Winnie’s uncle and aunt’s lake house.

Several unexpected—and uninvited—guests.

And an explosive fireworks show that requires the assistance of the Greenwood Fire Department.

It wasn’t quite the Fourth of July they had in mind.

Sometimes, even the best-laid plans don’t survive.
But what if the universe is planning something even better?

It’s safe to say that Wes and Winnie Lancaster are about to experience a summer vacation they’ll never forget.

Another cute and funny book from Max Monroe. I had read snippets of this book on their website, but to read the whole story was fantastic. This one was great because in had all the “Billionaires” and the Winslow brothers together…and absolute chaos ensues! Every single one of the books in both of those series had literally made me laugh out loud while reading them. And this one is no exception. Thatch and Jude together!!!
Such great entertaining writing. Love Max Monroe!

Enjoyed this one because it wasn't too long and it was a fun bridge between the billionaire series and the Winslow brother series. The audio was really fun, especially ace.

It’s back to the Billionaire Bad Boys with a short. Red, White & You is set around a 4th of July weekend focusing on Wes and Winnie.

Wes and Winnie couldn’t be happier but Winnie is having a hard time feeling like she’s failing Wes. Meanwhile, Wes is having issues with his restaurant thanks to the power outages caused by a heat wave in New York.

It seems they need a break so that’s what they do.

This results in the whole crew showing up including Winnie’s brothers and lots of fun and laughs. It also includes seeing the grumpy, gloomy Wes showing us his soft romantic side for Winnie and Lexi.

Thatcher Kelly is of course his usual crazy self and makes sure the group is always entertained. Add in Winnie’s brothers and we’re about to realise how much crazy they can bring to the party too.

This was a great quick read and on top of that we get a whole new insight into the brothers and since this is just before the start of the Winslow Brothers series this is the perfect preview.

Winnie is disappointed, after a year of marriage with Wes they’ve not exactly been trying for a baby, but they haven’t been being safe either. But after all this time there is still no sign of a baby. It’s starting to get to Winnie deep down.

Wes had big plans for BAD for the Fourth of July weekend. But the constant blackouts and outrageous heat are putting everything in jeopardy. It will cost him a fortune if it all goes to waste but he’s wondering if it’s worth it in the long run.

When Winnie raises the suggestion that maybe they should take advantage of her Uncle and Aunt’s cabin by the lake where it’s cooler and they have consistent power, Wes decides that maybe it’s the best idea.

Wes and Winnie take off with Lexi and the instant they arrive it seems like it was exactly the right decision. Until the middle of the night noise that alerts them to the arrival of someone. It’s Winnie’s brothers Ty and Jude who inform them that Flynn and Remy aren’t far behind.

It seems like it won’t be so bad to have her family join them, but when another knock sounds on the door the next morning it seems the house is about to get fuller with Thatcher, Cassie, Ace, Kline, Georgia, and Julia joining them.

With a full house full of this crazy crew can only mean a fun eventful weekend and maybe it will be enough to distract Winnie from her feelings.

Happy Reading.

I’ve read all of Max Monroe. Or at least, I thought I had. So I had to think back to the beginning of the Winslow brothers’ books.
How did I miss this one? It’s a short and cute precursor to the Winslow series. And it’s got all the family closeness and sibling love and tricks.
And then there is Thatch. His books were funny.
But honestly, his and Cassie’s shenanigans get old. Really old. After a while. Retire Thatch.

Loved this book, I’m dreaming that Max Monroe would write us a book to update us on this crew, like 5 yrs into all their relationships, it’s just a dream, but it would be so much fun to catch up! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

When this group gets together, there's no telling what might happen. Heat wave and power blackouts make for some out of this world hilarious shenanigans. Cassie and Thatch are totally out of control. You have to read this book to believe the things that happen.

Hilarious! Thatch and Winnies brother went out with a bang and Winnie isn't as innocent as led to believe. The scene on the lake house kitchen was hilarious! I hope the tease about the fortune teller means that the brothers will receive books too. Really good story.

A tad angsty at first, with various calamities that induce head shaking and sympathy and mini laughs all at once. But all’s well that ends well, and it was a lovely cap to the Wes (and Winnie) Lancaster collection.

I like that this includes all of the Billionaire Bad Boys. It is a nice little bow to wrap their story up with.

In general the Billionaire Bad Boys series is sweet, romantic, fun and a little sexy.

This was fun. This is the first one I read of the series. To my surprise, there are many books with these characters. I enjoyed the characters. It was a fun 4th of July story.

Wasn’t a fan of this one. Seemed rushed and unnecessary.

"She was my life, and nothing would ever change that. Because of her, I had a family."

This was a bonus novella in the Broody Billionaire (Wes & Winnie's) collection. Some Fourth of July fun that wouldn't be complete without the whole crew of the series and some shenanigans. It was playful and steamy, with some heartwarming moments too. A fun addition to the series!

I have been a longtime fan of Max Monroe, and read the original trilogy a few years back. I'm finally getting around to reading all the little in between novellas now and all I will say is, if you're a fan of the full length books, these are a great addition, they're hilarious, sweet, entertaining, and super quick to read as well. If you're looking for some light, funny fluff, these are 10/10. Happy reading!

So, if you've always wanted to know what the hype is about this author duo, and why people love these characters... Read this book.
I read this when it was released, and enjoyed my re-read just as much. It is funny, entertaining and easy to enjoy.

While this is NOT anywhere close to explaining everything we love about this world, it gives a reader enough of a snapshot of what makes these characters so addictive.
(Thatch is sooo Thatch in this one!! IYKYK😉)

Kline, Georgia, Thatch, Cassie, Wes and Winnie are the OGs of this group, but this read also includes Winnie's brothers, so it's easy to see the connections between series. I STRONGLY recommend reading the books in the author's published reading order, to have the best unspoiled experience. But, you could read this first, and then start from the beginning.

Seriously- this is a fun read, that should leave you smiling, and needing more time with these characters!

I love Max Monroe's novellas. Nobody writes quite like them, where I feel fulfilled by just a novella instead of a full-length novel or series. Winnie and Wes are STILL effing adorable, Georgia and Kline are still perfect and down-to-earth, and Cassie and Thatch are still insane. I love Winnie's brothers and can't wait to read they're novels in the next series!

I read this as part of the Broody Billionaire Collection

Red, White, & You - 4 stars
This 4th of July celebration was so fun! Hit by a heat wave that takes out the electricity, the gang escapes to Winnie's aunt and uncle's home outside the city (since they are supposed to be on a cruise). It's a fun glimpse of life with these friends whose families have grown but have not necessarily matured (Thatch I'm looking at you and your fireworks...). Hilarity ensues!

The narration is a real treat, since we bring in all the narrators for each couple!!

Very cute but short story about Wes, Winnie, Alexis, Georgie, Kline, Cassie, Thatch and the 4 Winslow brothers hanging out at a cabin over the 4th of July weekend during a power outage in New York. This little novella takes place after the Billionaire Bad Boys books and before the Winslow brothers books.
