This may be my new favorite book to recommend for people who want to lose weight! It has all the elements I’ve been looking for: an emphasis on strategy, a helpful step-by-step structure, and a hopeful and encouraging tone (rather than a scary or preachy one).

I can’t quite say “Do this because it’s what I did to lose 65 pounds.” But the differences are minor. I count exchanges rather than calories. And I absolutely depend on an online forum for support, an idea that’s only briefly mentioned in this book.

For a sneak preview of the ideas in this book check out the “Weight Loss & Diet Plans” page of the Eating Well website: http://www.eatingwell.com/nutrition_h...
