In disbelief of the turmoil in her life, Nykee finds herself at her breaking point. Up until now, she had been giving Phresh the benefit of the doubt and trusting him, but not anymore. With the way he called things off between them, to only discover the reason being Tati, Nykee calls it quits. She vows to never let another man play her for a fool, and that included Phresh.
Frustrated and angrier than ever, Phresh is trying his best to remain calm. Though he knows his mistakes, he can’t seem to stop making them. With Martinez hovering down his back, a father who shows his true colors, and a struggling relationship on the line, Phresh does the unthinkable. But he’s not the only one making bad decisions.
In the second installment of this drama-filled novel, secrets are revealed, family ties are broken, and loyalty is put to the test. With all the chaos brewing around them, Phresh is determined to show Nykee he is the man for her, but is she willing to let him?

Phresh is trying to live drug free life when his father got him and his little brother Santino in a situation that could not be avoided. Nykee is semi strong female but she is easily influenced by people who put doubt in her mind about her business. At the end of the book, Nykee do not make a wise situation but I am not surprised at all.
I still can’t believe all the secrets that came to light Martinez was beyond dirty, that man was straight-up evil. And Nykee’s father? Total disappointment. I’m just glad she was able to reconnect with her sister through it all.
I mean I thought book 1 was crazy good, but book 2 is about to give me a heart attack. I mean book 3 has got to give me some good moments because they can't catch a break. I need some happiness going on and more laughter. I love everything about Phresh and Nykee. Hell Santino is the my dude as well. I hope Santino, Tony, Meelah, Aiden and Laci get a book too while getting updates on everyone. Pretty please.
I mean, I couldn’t put it down but I’m confused about why P didn’t just let her stay at the house when the rent was the same. And, why did she tell her friends that man business after he spilled his secrets to her? Women really have friends that they tell everything to like that? No privacy? Girl, going to see that psychopath was a dumb move. I want to reach into the book and strangle her my damn self!!! Got me all in my feelings.
Nykee was dealing with parental issues and so was Phresh. Phresh made the ultimate sacrifice to save his brother. He was hiding secrets from Nykee. Phresh was pulled into a life he swore he wouldn’t ever lead! Nykee was vulnerable and willing to walk away until Phresh came clean on everything. How will Phresh keep the two worlds separate. A great read!
Now Nyk what have you done Phresh can not catch a break Something is seriously wrong with Martinez They better come in there with guns blazing cause they going to need it I’m wondering did he have something to do with the shootout Part 3 me please
It's sad how I enjoy phresh any Nykee toxic relationship. And fresh know damn well Tati is not going away without a fight. A d patch eye Martinez scare me I hope they kill him
I definitely can't wait to read part three. The drama is getting hot, and the boys are forming a real Brotherhood. They need to realize who has the power. I want to see what happens next.
I no I read this series before but I need part 3 asap because that’s what I didn’t read this series is so 🔥I had to read certain part over more than once Nykee had no busy going to that warehouse man can’t wait to see what is choice is between this time
🤦🏾♀️ Nykee is stressing me out! She does not think before she does something. She is going to make Phresh lose his mind because Martinez is a snake that cares about nothing and no one but himself.
This was just as drama filled as part 1. Nykee is her own worst enemy, she’s so naive. I don’t even know what she was thinking. I’m hoping Phresh doesn’t get into anymore mess because of Nykee.
Nykee needs to learn how to stay in her lane. First she revealed secrets she wasn't supposed to. Then she goes somewhere she shouldn't have. Phresh and the crew needs to take one eye out
This is getting better and better. Nykee done lost her mind going to that warehouse by herself and she is pregnant. Phresh wasn't feeling no pain when he found out she was there. Ready for part 3.
Nykee and Phresh can't seem to win from losing with Martinez around. I can feel his heart beating fast at that ending. The revelation of his new brothers... wow!! I can't wait to see how this story ends.
That girl just don't listen and can't sit still. Like how you gone go to the head of the cartel like you big and bad. Chile she too head strong for her own good, but Phresh the same damn way
