Do you ever wish that you could get the “feels” of reading a series you love again for the first time? Here With Us, is a perfect addition to an already amazing series. (This novella must be read after the series)
I read the first three books years ago, and completely loved them and didn’t want them to ever end. So here we are years later, and I’m getting to go back and fall in love with these characters and their stories again.
It’s been years in the making but the wedding of Evan and Ryley is finally happening! It’s clear after all the hardships these characters have faded they’re still hesitant, and unsure about if they’re really safe to live their lives. (Understandably so) They’re still trying to pick up the pieces, rebuild relationships, and work through past trauma.
Also I can’t forget to mention the adorable EJ, who is handling everything like an champ! P.S. Heidi give that boy another dog 😂
Is everything finally in the past? Are they safe to live their lives without looking over their shoulders constantly? Something about this makes me wonder is it truly over? I don’t think so…
Perfect re-introduction to the Archer family. It has been awhile, but all the feels are still there. Love Rylee and Evan! Great set up for ongoing story line as well. Can't wait to read more about this band of brothers.
I've loved this series as this wonderful author makes you fall in love with the characters. It has an unsavory back story but it's the romance that hooked me.
I loved this update on Evan and Rylee as they prepare to finally get married. This book is everything to those who have read the Archer Brothers. And the ending had me in tears. A great addition to the series and a great bridge to the next book in the series Choose Us. I CAN NOT WAIT!!
"Here with Us" by Heidi McLaughlin captures the moment we've been building toward and the emotional weight of a love that has endured so much. The story is structured around Evan and Ryley’s journey to their much-anticipated wedding, and McLaughlin does a wonderful job of balancing the excitement of new beginnings with the echoes of the past. Each moment feels intentional, drawing readers further into the couple’s world as they move toward their happily ever after. The emotional interaction between Evan and EJ at the end is the perfect culmination of their relationship’s growth throughout the series. It provides a heartfelt conclusion to the wedding, reinforcing the depth of their bond as a family.
Of course, the mystery and drama surrounding the events that caused everything to happen remain in the background, causing continued intrigue regarding how that story will continue to unfold with so many unanswered questions. This installment of the series is a great addition to your book collection. Happy Reading...enjoy!
I read the first 3 books in the series over 7 years ago and I still remember them because they were remarkable. This is sort of an Epilogue/Novella from amazing characters. Evan and Riley are preparing to say I do after so many years of struggles.
It was amazing to see how they were able to get past some of the struggles they dealt with. It was beautifully written and great before we get the next story. Told in a dual POV with an HEA for Riley and Evan.
I have loved the Archer brothers from the start and have been dying to get my hands on more for what seems like forever now. While it has been a while it didn’t take but a few pages for me to fall right back in love. And boy was it ever worth the wait! You will want to read the previous books before reading this one but you will fall more and more in love with each book. I cannot wait for the next!
With the gang all back together again and Ryley and Evan's wedding approaching it should be a time of great happiness. But with questions still not answered and a feeling of terror just around the corner will this wedding be as happy as it should. With every reader wanting them to finally get their HEA this was an emotional journey - but answers are still needed.
Wow. People can be so cruel. The lengths they will go through to achieve their addictions, revenge, and greed. Rylie and Evan waited forever to finally get married after presumed death, . In love with a brother, almost dying . Finally theirm happiness comes. But the people who have destroyed lives are still out there.
Here with Us takes us back to the world of the Archer Brothers series, with a novella about Ryley and Evan’s wedding. It was so refreshing to visit with these characters again! My only complaint is that it wasn’t long enough!😂 I’m not a fan of cliffhangers, and there are still so many unanswered questions in this saga, I can’t wait for Nate and Cara’s novella, as well as Rask’s book!!
I feel like it's been ages since I read Evan and Ryley's story. I love the world Heidi has created and it feels great to be immersed in their world again. It was beautiful seeing them finally tie the knot and I'm excited for the next chapter of this series.
Wow! Evan and Rylie, finally getting ready for their wedding day. Still so many emotions, memories of what’s happened in the past, trying to keep those things from interfering with their lives. Beautiful story, cannot wait for more stories to come.❤️
I don’t know how she does it but every time Heidi McLaughlin brings something new to the table. Her stories are amazing and this one just adds so much to the Archer clan I already adore. The sneak peek into supporting characters was my favorite.
🖊 SNEAK PEAK REVIEW 🖊 I am happy to be back in the world of the Archer Brothers Series again. It was refreshing to see the characters again and in this read we will be celebrating Evan and Rylee's Wedding. We can feel the love between these two; however, something (a feeling) is lingering in the background that someone is after them. The constant wonder who it is will have you wanting to relive the stories from the prior books. ~⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars
I loved this series so much. I was ecstatic when I found out that the author was continuing it. And this book was worth the wait! I really hope there will be more to come!
Evan and Ryley are finally getting married. This is the story of their wedding. I loved it from the first sentence to the last. I have really become attached to this whole cast of characters and their stories.
I didn't understand the concept of "worth the wait" until I read Here with Us, a novella in The Archer Brother series. Needless to say, I had already devoured the first three books on more than one occasion. (You will need to read the first three books before diving in to Here with Us).
They were packed full of suspense, shock and awe, romance, conspiracy, and intrigue. When I saw another book was to be released I was that crazy ecstatic dancer full of celebration that embarrasses her children. Demands and life get in the way for everyone, including authors. We had to wait for the release of Here with Us.
It has been years in the making, but Here With Us was worth everyday I waited. I did go back and reread the past stories before starting. I wanted to remember it all. I wanted to see if I could predict what would be in the next book. Obviously my imagination is no where near as close to the abilities of Heidi McLaughlin. I didn't know where the author would take the story. Mind blowing is where she took me.
Tensions remain between Evan and Nate. Doubts riddle the pages. The one thing that is obvious is the love shared between Evan and Ryley. The hairs on the back of my neck stood almost as much as on the characters. There is a reason Rask remains a SEAL. McCoy can't let go of the past as he trains the next generation of Navy SEALS. Evan is ill at ease.
Are they right to be cautious? Did it all end with the arrests of Lawson and Ingram? Will any of them truly find a happily ever after? Or will they forever be looking over their shoulders? Grab the books, dive in and have your mind blown.
