Book two in this series can be read as a standalone but I recommend that you start with book 1 since this book starts part way through book 1 and you will know what happens. Plus the books are great and you will just want to read the whole series :)

Bethany and Connor meet at a bar. Their connection is instant and hot. They can't stay away from each other after the first night. Even with him living and playing hockey in Raleigh and her living and working with marine animals on the coast. They travel back and forth. There are some adorable moments with her sister who she lives with. Some even more adorable moments with his family over thanksgiving. Some super hot moments between the two of them. Also some cute moments with an orphaned dolphin. Who doesnt love dolphins?

About half way through Connor gets traded to Florida and asks Bethany to come with him. She freaks out because she actually really loves him but isnt used to anyone wanting to take care of her so they break up.

I couldn't put this book down and was so excited to finish this book to find out what happens between this amazing couple!!

Good read, at some points I felt it went too quick and other times a little slow but it all balanced out with the ending. Love that throughout the book it shows relationship troubles and the emotional battles through them. Would definitely read again.

I enjoyed the storyline and loved the characters. I love how the characters from the previous book are intertwined. Look forward to reading book theee
