Would you like the long or the short version of my bio?

The short? You got it.

I write steamy gay romance books and I love it. I also love reading books. Books are everything.

How was that?

A little more detail? Gotcha.

I started writing my first stories when I was a teen…on a freaking typewriter. I still have these, and they’re adorably romantic. And bad, haha. Fear of failing kept me from following my dream to become a romance author, so you can imagine how proud and ecstatic I am that I finally overcame my fears and self doubt and did it. I adore my genre because I love writing and reading about flawed, strong men who are just a tad broken..but find their happy ever after anyway.

My favorite books to read are pretty much all MM/gay romances as long as it has a happy end. Kink is a plus… Aside from that, I also read a lot of nonfiction and not just books on writing. Popular psychology is a favorite topic of mine and so are self help and sociology.

Hobbies? Ain’t nobody got time for that. Just kidding. I love traveling, spending time near the ocean, and hiking. But I love books more.

#7 Alpha's Obedience 3*

This explored the relationship between Naran and Lev and it was great to see that a lot of it was all about communication and talking to each other because Naran used Lev for information but he did intend to rescue him. I loved how Sivney tried to help the met but was annoying due to his inability to see that he was now part of the equations too. The situation outside of the ranch was pretty much as they had predicted although much worse. Easy to read and understand. This was an MMM story with mature content set in the omegaverse with mpreg.

#8 Omega's Power 4*

This book focuses on the relationship between Sivney, Naran and Lev and how their dynamic works. The deadly sickness was heartbreaking and this will bring you to tears. The civil war scenario was quite frightening and felt as if that could happen. Lots of feelings and emotions in this story. Easy to read and understand. This was an MMM story with mature content set in the omegaverse with mpreg.

#9 Beta's Love 4*

Poor Lucan had an uphill battle to make his men see sense but he was determined and it was a relief for them to finally get with the programme. I felt so sorry for Lucan. I was relieved when they started to understand and realise that they belonged together. Maz was a great guy he just needed a readjustment of his perceptions and priorities Sando needed facts and steering in the right direction. Emotions and feelings abounded in this book. Easy to read and understand. This was an MMM story with mature content set in the omegaverse

#10 Omega's Truth 4*

A large revelation for Sando enables Maz, Lucan and Sando to complete their relationship and get the happiness they deserve. The situation with the General was finally resolved and he proved to be just as clueless and pathetic as we all thought. I loved how Lev showed true leadership and a determination to avoid replacing like with like even though he was not immune to shocks himself. A fitting end to the series and a teaser as to what follows. Easy to read and understand. This was an MMM story with mature content set in the omegaverse

As it's 33hr worth of listening, I've gotta split the review... the world building review will be on here & the relationship on the 2nd book of each couple!

Currently a freebie on Audible +

As I listened to the book, names &/or places may be misspelled as I'm writing them phonetically!

After listening to the first 2 books, my most burning question is... what does Lidon DO?!? Aside from F*** his mates in public every 5mns?!? 🤔

Even though Palani is meant to HIS right-hand man, Palani does all the administrative work around the ranch.

Lidon certainly doesn't do any of the cooking nor cleaning, he doesn't help with the farming side of the Ranch nor the security side of things, he doesn't look after the kids nor any of the injured packmates & there's a lot of neglect going on with those... so what exactly DOES he do?! 🤔

I think the first 2 books should've been the last in series considering the ending...

In current vernacular... well, that escalated quickly 😬

I think the author tried to have too big of a scope for the story & TBPH, I don't think that it's been executed that well!

I've yet to understand if the world the author has created is a fictitious country, island, a municipality or a completely alternate universe...

Basically the country/municipality, what have you, has now entered the realms of Civil war because of the Hayes Pack & that's just a little too far into Sillyville for my tastes...

There's more of a post-Apocalyptic feel than Civil.war... it's too desolate in that city in such a short amount of time. Where has everyone escaped to? They encounter only ONE individual that is not linked to the militia... can you really call it a Civil war if there are no opponents?!? It's most certainly a military coup of a (uninhabited (Capital?!?) city, however it's being called a Civil war 🤔

The author has added so many characters to her story that she kinda loses track of a LOT of them...

I can't believe for a second that Reane, wouldn't also be by Palani's side as soon as things start getting bad, but he isn't even a footnote during that period!

Where was Sando when Lucan needed him most... aren't they meant to be mates?!

Dour, Adara, Felix, Gia, Sean & a few others are never really seen nor heard from again. They're simply mentioned once towards the end of the 2nd book!

IMHO, if the author did have such.lofty plans for Reane, she should really have shown to us WHY he's worthy, but as he was MIA for all of the previous books, I did see it coming, but it still came out of left field!

There's a far too much telling rather than showing as well, which is odd considering that most couples so far have had 2 books each. I

But I do like that it's all interwoven & the progression of most of the relationships spans over the conflict from beginning to end!

I spent most of the books wondering about the refugees & I ended up assuming that they'd housed them in the bequeathed estates/ranches, only to find out that the group who said they wanted to help helpless people left them all outside in the winter cold in tents for months.... say what now? 😡🤬

OK... onto the next throuple & I'm hoping the real resolution to the conflict🤞

I'm now more intrigued about Issam & Adar's relationship... that one sounds spicy as hell 😏

I fell in love with the Hayes pack

Review for the whole series (box sets 1, 2 & 3).

I often don't like Omegaverse books with a less positive world building for Omegas & women but holy cow, I have just surfaced after devouring the entire Irresistible Omegas series in a few days and I am in love with the Hayes pack!

There's a brilliant story arc, well written nuanced characters and a whole lotta love. Positive poly relationships (one foursome then triads), identity divergent and non-conforming (think trans/enby + gender non-conforming but applied to the identities of omega/beta/alpha) characters shown with sensitivity and care, trauma recovery, kink and so much more.

My only criticisms were the insufficient for me background on the world building (i.e. how this world got to the point where wolf shifters and non-shifting humans had interbred so much that everyone is alpha/beta/omega but there are no wolf shifters left at the start of the series). Plus what's the deal with the city?? Oh and why on earth would the Hayes pack ends up being men only? Also the episode of a lotta magic in Omega's Power felt a little clunky (but the feels and overarching storyline in that book compensated for that bigtime).

You need to read these books in order, none are standalones.

In this series you'll find: MMMM & MMM relationships with on-page spice; Omegaverse with MPreg; characters whose identity doesn't match what they were assigned at birth; characters who do not conform with the expectations associated with their identity; SA & torture survivors; abortion provision; wolf shifters; fated mates; blended families; disabled characters (physical + PTSD + agoraphobia); medical experimentation; corruption; death of a family member; civil war; concentration camps; death of a mate from a brain tumor; violent attacks; some kink inc. Daddy/boy, soft Dom/sub, exhibitionism & voyeurism; and a lot of HEAs.

I’m marking this as containing spoilers because I don’t actually know if I’ll write spoilers

I have always said that a sign of a good author is one who can invoke emotion in those who are reading their stories. This series right here has made me feel everything from book 1. I’ve laughed and I’ve cried, I’ve been angry and anxious. Every chapter, every paragraph, every sentence has held so much emotion and power that it was impossible to put the series down. I’m someone who reads all the time so I feel like I have a pretty strong grasp on what makes a good story and this one right here held the perfect amount of plot and spice. I never wanted to skip a paragraph, I never wanted to look further into the book. It was like living in this universe and I’m sad for it to be over. (I will say I’m excited to move to the dragons because I have a thing for dragons😂). The connection I felt with each and every character was beyond amazing and the fact that it was shown that change doesn’t happen overnight was the best thing. Pointing out signs of oppression that I didn’t even notice (such as Palani not realizing that having an alpha ask permission to pursue an omega was degrading to the omega) made it all the more real because as you read you realize that you completely missed that small detail that very much proves that not everything is peachy. I loved everything about this series and I commend the author for her ability to not only create a story that felt SO REAL, but also for her character development because that’s what makes a story. Everyone grew in this series, not s single person was left untouched by the developments and it was inspiring to see the change in every single one of these characters. I’m ending my review here but I’ll leave you with this, READ THE SERIES. If you have any interest in MM omegaverse, this series is the perfect example of an amazing series written by an amazing author.

I was ripping through this series so fast and loving it so much I decided to just review the whole series at once as one big review instead of 9ish separate reviews.

This series was absolutely so much fun to read. I can’t remember which of my friends recommended that I read it, but they were totally right, and I should listen to them more. First, I just need to say that the setting was absolutely amazing. I was blown away by the world development and all the background information that was already set up for an interesting plot. I also appreciated that while this book was definitely a spicy romance novel at its core it still had a super interesting, deep, and world building based plot line as well with crazy plot twists and great character development.

Every single character in this series was just amazing. They were all different, with their own personalities, characteristics, flaws, strengths, and voice. It’s really easy in a long-complicated series like this to have copy and paste characters that are all the same and fall into super typical character roles. I feel like this series did not do that. All the characters were dynamic and different from each other with their own backgrounds, wants, needs, and failings.

I also think that this series dealt with some great themes such as transgender and gender fluid individuals, sexism, fascism, difficult relationships, aging family members with dementia, characters with autism or other neurodivergence, and found family. All while still creating a fantastic romance setting. Dealing with these themes and issues added to the amazing plot without distracting from it. It was extremely well done in my opinion! The spicy rating was a level 5.

Overall, I would rate this series a 5 out of 5 star rating. I would give it a 6 out of 5 star rating if I could. I want to read the next series that was hinted at in the bonus chapters so bad, but my library doesn’t have that one!

3.5-4 ⭐️

Much like the other parts of the series this was so good and so damn bad at the same time.

We’ve come such a long way from book 1 when the 4 some started their journey- and I’m so invested in this pack after thousands of pages…

Some things I would have changed
- less sex. I’m sorry call me prude- I love a spicy book, and I don’t love closed door - but this was a lot of sex. Like I feel developmentally it interfered with the characters story. We could have had more personal depth & relationship depth..
- some of the loose ends not being tied up
- the major issue the entire series was a minor part of the storytelling and super easily handled..
- the wording/ writing in some areas was just corny and silly in a roll your eyes way
- some of the character storylines were a little redundant

What I loved:
- how invested I became with the pack, the characters and the next chapter of the story
- how we carried all the characters through the entire series and we grew together - it didn’t feel messy or chaotic, the author did a nice job
- the representation of the social hierarchy- and the parallels to reality
- what I loved/ hated was during the “fall of civilization” (I can’t say much more without spoiling ) - it reminded me too much of where we are as a nation.

I want to buy the next audiobook series to continue on the story.. it was an enjoyable ride

MM Wolf shifter

All this for one credit

After reading these books a year or two ago, I decided to binge-listen to them on Audio for over 85 hours for the three box sets. I did this over a week and was gutted when they ended. I then started on the Dragon series that followed.

If that doesn't tell you how good they are, nothing will. The characters are well-defined; the story has so many parts it keeps you involved.
The whole world-building has been done flawlessly.

I recommend these books.

The narration by John Solo is superb.
He has done a great job narrating these books, which he always does, helping bring the characters to life and giving us a new immersive experience.

First of all, I absolutely love when an author bundles their books.

These bundles did a great job moving the plot along while highlighting different couples. There were a lot more plot, depth, and "meat on the bones" than most m/m/m+ and /or mpreg books.

What I found really nice is the stories didn't start feeling even slightly repetitive until the last of the bundled stories, and even then not badly. The couples were unique and developed more than 2 dimensionally.

But by far the best thing was how the author always circled back and answered unanswered questions or folded back in "any loose threads". Everytime I wrote down a question or concern it was eventually handled, though it might have been a book or two later.

The story was interesting, and I will probably go on to the spin off series. On a side note, the author really delves into rooting out prejudices not ever realized by mostly enlightened people.

Good but not great

I Started this series because I liked Nora’s other stuff, even though I had never read a shifter mpreg series before. These last four bucks, which were supposed to be part of the irresistible omega’s series, seems to me like a very long back door pilot, like they do in television, for her new series. The fact that All four books centered around toothreesomes that will be in the new pack was disappointing. Even more so was the fact that all the new characters she introduced, I get wanting the readers to have an affinity for them, are all going to be in the new pack as to give them stories, and for a reader who pays attention to details like me, the new pack now has more alphas and potential threesomes than the original.

What a wild ride! I cried, I laughed and man did I rail in anger at outside characters as well as some pack members. Nora Phoenix just blew me away with this entire series. I bought and devoured all 3 volumes of audiobooks in 3 days. I just could not stop listening. What a world that was created! I’m so glad I now have the spin-off series to move to as I am so not done reading about this world and these packs. I could easily and oh so happily read about the Hayes and Hightower packs and their members for years to come.

This is probably my favorite volume out of the 3. I just loved the main characters in both books. Lev, Sivney, and Naran were so unconventional I didn't know how they were going to work out, but oh man I loved their dynamic. And there was a bit more angst between Lucan, Sando, and Maz than I was expecting. I loved that their jourey wasn't an easy one. It wasn't instant like some of the other trios have felt. I know I'm going to relisten to this series in the future. And I'm glad I started this now. It was great being able to read all the books at once and now I have the spin-off series to enjoy.

Book 6: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I read this whole series and was pleasantly surprised by how easily I succumbed to this alternative world. There were so many relationships and plotlines that could have been confusing, but thanks to the writer's skill, everything made sense. The parallels to issues in today's real world are obvious. There is lots of love, lots of men working on their emotional development, and suspense and catastrophe in the world outside their compound.
The near Messianic ending was a bit too much, but nothing else would have worked.
I also did not understand the absence of women other than the visiting aunt and mother and the babies. Do actual women have no place in this world?

What a Journey

This series has been beautiful! Every book was so hard to put down. There are so many characters that are so easy to feel... I laughed, I melted, I bawled... And I loved them all!
This series is different from what I've been reading for quite a while now, mostly low angst cuddly-hot love stories. These books added back the suspense, the heartache, the worry... It's been quite a ride and I am so very thankful that I discovered Irresistible Omegas.
I wholeheartedly recommend!

irresistible is right!

Lust is easy…Love takes more time and communication! More unique, talented men find their mates! Get to know the inner workings of the Lidon Hayes pack. See how they deal with the aftermath of the Melloni gene trials and the horrors of the political struggles in the nearby city. Enjoy!!!

Awesome read

I loved this series, it was so good. I love how real the books were, how it talked about the hate and meaness and how love can come out of that. I am waiting for the next series.

As I've said so damn good I'm adding the series, including Irresistible Dragons, to my bookshelf...a little warning when you get to chapters 6 and 7 of book 8 Omegas Power, be sure to have plenty of tissues handy cos I sobbed my Heart out for ages and even when I read it again

Composite review. These books continue to bleed into each other without wrapping up character arcs. I appreciated the relationships portrayed in this volume more than some of the previous ones - there was substantial focus on communication and equality.

I really enjoyed all of these books. I made the mistake of reading the dragons first, but it was great to meet all of the characters, the families, the lovers.

Tore me up in parts

I liked these stories. I cried (ugly crying) then snickered when funny. The conclusion was satisfactory but would have liked more vengeance on some bad guys. It'd worth the read but a must to read all books in order.

...So I read the whole shebang back to back.

My advice would be; don't. Space each story out so that you remember the broader plot when you return to each book.
