I read book 2 after book 6 and for a short time, I feared that the stories were too similar.
But no worries!
Jewel knows how to tell unique stories.
This one is very loosely related to James Fenimore Cooper's "The Last of the Mohicans" but with a modern approach and obviously a time travel.
A pleasure to read!
