A truly wonderful sequel! And I mean sequel as in the second book in this series, even though on Goodreads it says that it's the third book. I haven't yet read Eugenia's Trial, but I have read its summary and I'm certain that that book is the actual third book. Ok, now that I've got that out of the way, let's talk about the actual story. Everything that I enjoyed in Medusa and the Blind Woman was not only present here but better: the characterisation of the main characters and the villain, the slowly developing relationship between Medusa and Eugenia, the funny moments. The first book's slower pace was only present in the beginning as this one contained plenty of action scenes and angst and drama, making for a captivating story. While I was never bored when reading said first novel, I have to admit this one kept me glued to the pages, especially that cliffhanger ending!

I'm really glad the next book has already been published because I need to see how things will turn out.

This is book three but I think you should read this book second, and then book two. Other than that WE GOT A HAPPY ENDING! WE GOT A HAPPY ENDING AMD BASICALLY A LOVE CONFESSION!!!
