Viserion just wants everything to stay the same. Feeling a void in his soul, he plays it off as nerves for the choosing that is to arrive.

Until she appears from the heavens....

Tiny, pale, and fragile, Viserion finds himself drawn in by the fiesty foulmouthed female. She is a different species, but that doesn't stop his desire to have her all to himself. Consequences be damned!

Very fast paced story. It felt like everything were rushed. I can't imagine how the main characters fell in love in a very short time, considering that one is human and the other is an alien. Characters are very important, but there's something "missing". Even though this is a sci-fi erotica, the main characters should have that "human" elements that will connect to the readers. I cannot feel their emotions.

I guess it needs more details, specially with the fight scene and the surroundings since they are warriors.

There were some spelling errors.

There is a potential with this book. I really like how the author ended this book, there's a cliffhanger, that made the readers intrigued.

This was an exciting first installment with great world building and interesting characters. The idea of being sold to aliens is crazy so I could really relate to Krista's shock. Thankfully, Viserion was hot so I could see things progressing the way they did. If you love alien abduction trope stories with lots of steamy D/s interactions, this book will definitely hit the right spot ;P Now to wait on book 2 to see what unfolds next.

Like most of the reviewers, I found myself saying "wait a minute" and going back to re-read, because the plotline seemed a little rushed. A WHOLE lot happened in the story that may have been able to be turned into two books.

That being said, I would definitely recommend this book. (I've got Book 2 on my TBR!) I think Melissa does a great job world-building, which is not something that is always easy to do.

It's a human/alien love story, and while it might not be everyone's cup of tea, it is a good read. And warning: it ends on a massive cliffhanger.

(I received this review copy in return for an honest review. This is my honest review.)

I might have not really enjoyed the book, but that is only due to my personal preferences. If you like a story with the dominate/submissive aspect to it, you will love this book. It had a good story, and I liked that part of the book. If you really like the Dom/sub story lines, you will love this book.

The book was absolutely amazing. The development of both main characters through the story is astounding. You could feel the connection between them from the very beginning and how with time it becomes stronger. The spicy scenes are absolutely intimate and makes you want to keep reading it again and again. I definitely recommend it 🤩🤩

I loved how this book kept you intrigued the whole time! It wasn't just something that turned into a slow burn and fizzled out. I can't wait for book number two because I have so many questions that need answers.

I loved the storyline. I think some parts could do with deeper development, but that could just be my desire for a slower burn story. I definitely want a sexy alien as a mate 😅

WARNING: This review to mention subjects that some readers may find offensive.

I received a free copy of this book in return for an honest book review.

This book had a lot of action, a romance and some steamy smut. I also like the originality of the story. However, this book was very rushed and there was a lot of details missing to fully build the storyline, the characters and the romance between Krista and Viserion. In one sentence Krista hated Viserion and wanted to return to earth and in the next sentence she was madly in love with him and was wanting to stay. The small smut scenes throughout were decent and with the final smut scene, I was expecting more typical smut vs. the sodimization that happened instead. This book could have had a lot of promise to it, if the time was taken to develope the storyline, characters, etc.

DNF - Mistreatment of Women . . .

Mayor Mccorden announced at a meeting in the small town that contact had been made with aliens on the planet Neptune. The President agreed to launch a ship into space to capture photographic proof of these aliens and they were asking for volunteers! Who would want to go to an ice planet like that? But several hands went up despite Krista’s misgivings.

Krista was walking home from the meeting when she felt a sting in her neck. Someone had shot her with a dart and she hears as familiar laugh as she collapses on the sidewalk. She wakes in a cage with others she knew from high school as the Mayor laughs at them. The aliens had offered diamonds for delivering women to them and his choosing women with no family who would not be missed made it an easy decision of who to kidnap. On the week-long journey, they were only fed protein bars every two days.

Viserion, one of the top warriors, defeated the last of his opponents in their practice fights, then went to see their leader Joanh. When a ship arrives with human women, one of them ran and crashed into Viserion as he catches her. He kept looking at the females his leader had traded for to add an exotic flair to his harem. The feisty attitude of the one he caught pleases Viserion and he wants her for himself. The more she fights, he says, will make it much more fun to break them. (What a Neanderthal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

As soon as I heard them refer to Masters over the women, I lost all interest in the story. It sounded too much like BSDM themes that I abhor. Chaining the women to a wall then beating them with an icy rod is not my idea of foreplay. I do not find this romantic or something I would choose to finish reading.

This is a great start to a new series. It’s the first book I’ve read by this author and I’m looking forward to reading more. The characters are amazing, a new alien species living in the coldness of Neptune, they have four arms, are built with muscles galore. The world building and storyline are vividly described and exciting with plot twists, abductions, action, steamy scenes and more.

When the mayor announces that aliens are real and have been contacted and they are looking for volunteers to go to Neptune, Krista is shocked to say the least and she has no intention of volunteering. Seems like she doesn’t have a choice as she’s knocked out and put in a cage with other women. When they land she tries to escape and instead runs straight into one of the aliens. Viserion is the strongest warrior on Neptune and has yet to be defeated. When new females land he is very intrigued by the little female who runs into him. He never expected to have a mate but this female triggers every emotion when he meets her. Only thing is, she’s expected to join the leaders harem.

This was a new author to me and while I did enjoy the book I think it just needed to be a little be longer, that there needed to be a bit more information or description at the start of it. Krista has been used by her government as an exchange item for diamonds. They received a signal from space and the powers that be came to an agreement. A group of women were sent under the guise of volunteers to Pluto. A planet of freezing temperatures, snow and ice. Great!! Viserion is totally unaware of what he expected when he was sent out on a hunt and then all of a sudden a ship lands and a number of strange females get out. What are they? It seems that it had all been arranged between these strange beings and his leader. Is there a chance that one of these creatures is affecting him because he is beginning to feel and he's not sure about it at all! And that cliffhanger, if you are not good with them....

I enjoyed this book. Great world building. I was interested in the aliens' culture on their cold planet- and especially of the Goddess- and I'm sure we'll delve even deeper into it in future books. Krista is abducted, along with a group of females who are alone and wouldn't be missed, by her own government to be traded to aliens in exchange for diamonds and gemstones. With no way to escape, she and the other women have no choice but to submit to the aliens that now own them. Viserion is one of the strongest of his people and had no idea other species lived beyond their planet. But his leader discovered it and managed to orchestrate the trade. Though the new females were to belong to their leader, the feisty one in his hold compelled him, and his leader gave her into his keeping. An interesting story. Ends on a big cliffhanger, so of course I need book two. 4 stars.

If you like Sci-Fi and you like romance, this book is for
you.
When I first started reading this book I questioned if I
would have my first DNF book just cause I wasn't sure
how I felt about the idea of a human falling for an alien
and vice versa. But as usual I didn't stop reading and I'm
Ok that didn't.
The plot behind the story was good and it's basically like
a whole fated mates trope. I will say that the chemistry
between Krista and Viserion needed to be built up some
more. It basically went from oh I hate you, skip a few day,
I can't stand the thought of being without you.
The book did feel rushed and like there were gaps in time
missing. I also felt it lacked in the character building and
world building. I needed to know more about the
Tashunkas and their home on Neptune.
Over all a good start to a new series that will hopefully
develop more in the next installment.

I wish I had a better review than this but this is more for the author than the book itself.
Let me explain. The author posted in a book group about having copies available for sale with her signature. I purchased this one and a second book in March of 2022 and never received them. They were probably lost in the mail, understandable.
She was kind enough to send me another set of books. The second time, in June now, I only received one book. I reached our again and was told she'd send the second one when she received more.
October came and I still hadn't received the book. I reached out again and was told I'd get a refund. Here we are in February of 2023 and I haven't received anything. It's a shame, this book was very promising.

If you like alien romance with danger and adventures sweetened with a sexy, protective, possessive alien warrior who falls for an abused human female with trust issues, well, you will find this story an easy read. I loved how persistent the alien warrior was, he was relentless. And he showed his female that his first words to her were true…safe. I have really enjoyed reading this book and look forward to reading the next in the series keep writing and I will keep reading
