About the author

Erayna Wright is an author from Chicago, IL. Her writing journey began in the third grade (where she was the smartest kid in the class, naturally). There she penned poems about Rain and Shine, as well as anything else that crossed the mind of a nine-year-old. Since then, the depth of her work has increased. She’s turned her sights to longer form work, creating her main character, Raven, during her hours long commute to and from undergrad at the University of Saint Francis. Erayna believes that writing is therapeutic and will always be a lifelong love. When she’s not dreaming up characters, Erayna can be found rollerskating, playing video games, and strumming her guitar. She is also a proud cat mom to Prince and Chloe, who are her biggest fans between naps.

Thank you Goodreads for this book!!! It's so fun to read new and interesting books. This is the shortest book I ever read. Good story I could get behind this character and her journey of life. Her life has plenty of challenges she was dealing with This just gave a glimpse of it. Would like to read more maybe there will be a part two.

The book was short with stories of different situations that the main character encounters. I know the stories were not meant to be interconnected but it appears there was some attempts to create linkages between stories. The attempts seemed a little disjointed for me. I would like to see the author create a novella weaving the encounters together for one power story of multiple triumphs.

short but not bad.

I was pretty invested even though it was a very short book. Following her through the stories was both easy and a little terrifying. It’s sometimes scary to hear these kind of stories about how women get treated by men, when it’s something that actually happens and can happen to any women. Overall I liked it! Wished it was longer even so I could have read more!

A well written short story, but just not one for a 50-something woman that was constantly screaming inside my head at the entire Phil saga and rolling my eyes at the club scene.

This was such a fun book to write! It's a quick read; enough to give readers a glimspe into Raven's life and her journey through womanhood. It is filled with compelling situations some women may find themselves in. Through it all, Raven emerges triumphant with a story to tell. Bits & Pieces is a great piece for readers who want a introduction to Raven and her life as there is more to come in future books.

The short stories are too short. It doesn't give the reader enough time to get emotionally invested. Also the title implies female empowerment and yet two stories in and there's no hope anywhere. I received this e-book as a Goodreads giveaway for an honest review.

Fascinating stories of a young women!

I love this stories. It makes me understand the struggle and hard description that woman have to make veryboftwn. Highly recommended as we can all learn to be safe and have fun in life.
