Leon may have saved Noelle from a life in chains, but her future is far from certain. Bound as she is to the Sacred Tree Sapling, she is a prize for every nation in the world. Worse, Leon’s fiancées disagree over her does Noelle have a responsibility to serve a nation, or should she be free to choose how she lives her life? Meanwhile, Noelle’s own villainess, Louise, faces the same dire question. It seems the Sacred Tree has demanded a sacrifice in exchange for continuing to protect the Republic—and it wants Louise. It’s up to Leon to intervene before all the women in his life succumb to the dark fates the otome game demands.
I felt like the climax for Noel's rescue combined with the climax for the second rescue of the other girl or too close together and felt repetitive. I'm not sure what they could have done to make it feel less repetitive but still wrap up the loose ends adequately. It's a tough choice, but needless to say, it did leave me feeling bored. After taking a break from reading I was able to go back in and push through the pirate fight. The sad thing was that the events of the pirate fight itself were boring to read as well! Considering this was the finale to the volume, it left room to be desired. Still, it wasn't the worst I've ever read so I feel like only one star removal for boredom is fair. The amount that was boring was a very small amount in comparison to the interesting bits. It's just the timing of the boredom was unfortunate.
The book offer all was very good. The cliff hammer at the end, I did not see coming. Also the AI cleare in the bonus chapter is a little terrifying in the way she's can change someone without them realizing it.
This book was a really good book! It was also real page turner! It had me in different points, I was excited all the way through. Good use of storytelling in character design. Really good book! Way to take the story to the next level.
The way the author handles Noelle is clunky at best. And the Yuri elements feels forced for the purpose of fan service and was entirely unnecessary for the plot given Angie and Livia's relationship with leon. This is def the weakest book so far.

A lot of twists and turns in this one. Leon's attraction grows with Louise now softening up to him. But boy was it touch and go for a while there. Looking forward to reading the next volume.
Loved it cant wsit for the next book. Do wish leon was a little more forward like other light novel characters but outside of that another for the win!!
Damn, that's the last officially translated volume, now I get to find out how bad the fan translations are for future installments. Who knows, maybe they'll shock me and be well done.
Current arc isn't as fun as early novels and I'm ready to move on from the Republic. At least Angie and Livia were involved this time. Also, why are there so many random reincarnations?
I enjoyed the first books in the series, but now on the 6th I've had enough. It's become boring, the hero doesn't evolve at all, everything is predictable, and the attempt to bring more characters to the forefront fails miserably. I think this is the last book in the series for me, the others that will be translated are of no interest to me anymore.
