Where do I even start with this review? First I probably should start by saying, I’m not a bdsm trope fan. I’ve tried so many times but it always leaves me empty(?). I picked this one up because it was shorter, I was curious if I still felt a dislike for it or if the author could do something different to have me enjoy it. Still don’t enjoy it.
I’m not sure exactly what the feeling is but it’s like there’s a coldness to it, like a lack of love or any sort of emotional bond to the other person. I need that emotional connection in order to get into the sex scenes. I don’t mind some kinky things like edging or voyeurism or bondage but once you start adding a plug for every hole and then making a chick suck the guy off, I’m more skipping the words because it’s not doing a damn thing for me. I’m questioning how is this hot with a cringe face.
Couple of things that stood out that could have been better for me were two of the anal scenes. There was no clean up once the dick was placed somewhere else. So one scene, Draco gives it to Hermione up the ass, cums, then flips her over and has her suck his dick WITHOUT HAVING CLEANED HIMSELF until he cums again. He spills out of her mouth, where he then kissed her until she is cleaned up. Yes, you read that right. So all that was needed here was a quick clean up charm before shoving his dick in her mouth to get off again and do all the fillin and spillin. I mean you wanna taste yourself on the other person, have at ‘er, but you’re not going to clean ass off your dick before having her suck you off, like WTF? The other scene, he went right in her vagina after the ass. JUST NO ffs.
Another issue, grammar. It was actually pretty bad in this one. Many times the word “he” was written when it should have been “her” (or vice versa). That got confusing. Words were missing in sentences, or words were in the wrong order making the sentence. It happened quite a bit and made continuity for me difficult as I had to stop and figure out what the author was saying.
Also with there being such a heavy amount of sex in the first 40%, I got bored. 60% on is when the book got interesting. If you can get that far, it’s a much better book but definitely wouldn’t fault you if you DNF it

3⭐️ Sweet but kinky Dramione fic! There was nothing dark about this fic, and I really liked that Hermione, Ron and Harry were still all friends, and that Malfoy was included into the mix at times bc of work. This fic was different bc it wasn’t a pining Draco, or enemy but a work acquaintance. There was a lot of relationship angst, and I wasn’t a fan of the non-monogamous aspect to their meet up & relationship. There was *definitely kink* in here and I had to glide over a few spots that weren’t my taste, but there was still a lot to the story I loved. At times it was Hermione that I was thinking “what are you doing??!” Expect a sex club for a fix, some banter, medium to hard kink level, but a HEA.

Finally a book that I had the patience to finish! I’ve been in a such a slump, so this was a cute and quite short (70K+ words) fic, with a lot of spice!
