Kitten, KEPT: MM Billionaire/Criminal Erotica

Rate this book
Hollywood producer and professional control freak Maxx Oxley is used to being the one in charge.

But ever since criminal Guy Martin broke into his life, he’s found one crucial aspect of his meticulous routine out of his control. His Kitten comes and goes as he pleases with nary a care in the world.

Maxx may be Daddy in the bedroom, but when his Kitten ignores his calls and takes too many liberties, Maxx knows he needs to teach him a lesson. Will Guy finally listen when he’s bent over his knee and taking his punishment?

Maxx thinks it's high time he asserts a little control over the situation and put a collar on his unruly pet.

A short intended for mature, 18+ audiences. Includes collars, D/s, and BDSM elements. Part of the Criminally Handsome series and loosely follows the events of ‘Ox, POSSESSED,’ but can be read as a standalone!

Artemis Vice has penned another delightfully erotic short detailing a moment in the lives of Maxx and Guy. There are four stories, to date, each giving the reader a peek into the private and intimate life of the two. In this episode, Maxx has figured out what Guy not only wants but actually needs in their relationship. He then sets about making it so.

A story with much steam and a satisfying happy-for-now, it is most definitely worth a read. An underlying yet important component to this story is the emphasis on safety and care. The author ever so gently makes sure readers understand the importance of consent, safety words, and aftercare. Job well done.

I have only one problem with this story. I need more of Maxx and Guy. I am definitely going to check out what has already been written and I will be watching impatiently for more more more. In this short told with prose and POV you learn a surprising amount about the relationship between the two men. I love the premise of how they met and developed a relationship of sorts. In this part Maxx decides to take a more active hand in the relationship (pun intended). Artemis Vice is one name that I think will be up and coming in mm kink romance stories. Good job!

Woohooo So Exhilarating
This is the first book I’ve read from this author and let me tell you now it will not be my last for such a short story it is so exciting. I’m so gutted that I’ve missed the other three books in the series and I will be going back to read them soon. There is something So exciting about Maxx and Guy. They just make your blood boil in the best way. I was so intrigued by this two. And how the author got so much emotion through in such a short read. I cannot wait to read more from this author.

Maxx and Guy are committed to one another in their own way. But they are still coming to understand the dynamics of their relationship. It will likely not be conventional any time soon. But Maxx needs more than the occasional unplanned visit so he decides to help Guy understand that he won't try to cage him, but he does want to claim him. In a way that is satisfying to them both. Steamy interlude in this journey to what will be them for Maxx and Guy. 3.5 solid stars.

First time reader here and this introduction was interestingly engaging. This type of narrative I'm beginning to like.., having no chapters, you would think no structure but this flowed nicely between scenes. In the beginning not knowing Max and Guy's history...what an interesting history...I got sucked in their complicated romance. Loved their scene...both got what they wanted at the end and I'm guessing this is a HFN with more scenes to come.

I loved the framing of this story-- it's clearly a piece out of a larger relationship, the edges and ins-and-outs of which are a bit hazy, but the heart of which is clear. Neither Maxx nor Guy know, or at least, are willing to acknowledge, exactly how deep their connection runs, but it's clear, nonetheless, and it's fun to see, as well as, of course, smoking hot to watch them interact.

Kitten got a Collar

Maxx is a little antsy over his Kitten’s latest absence, it’s been too long so he has decided on a course to fix this behavior. He is going to make sure Guy knows who he belongs to. There are definitely typos and could have used better editing but I love these little stories and elites this one very much.

So when I read the blurb I was intrigued and requested the book. It was only after I read it that I found out it’s part of a series with the same couple

Kitten, Kept was a good read. There was more interaction and connection between the two MCs. It was like looking into a window at their relationship. I can't wait to read more.
