Es la primera vez que le dé un manga, antes que ver el anime. Esta es la continuación de "Los siete pecados capitales" en el cual descubriremos a un nuevo enemigo, que es, El rey Arturo, ahora convertido como el rey del caos. En este primer tomo, comenzamos con la historia del primer jinete que es, Percival.
A lo largo de este primer tomo dividido en cinco partes, se nos narrará la historia de un joven de 16 años, que por la muerte de su abuelo, emprenderá su propio viaje de aventuras, ahí descubrirá el secreto de ser hijo de un caballero sagrado, llamado Ironside. Al bajar del espacio donde vivía lejos de Britania, el joven emprende su búsqueda.
No quiero dar spoilers de la misma trama pero, esta leyenda comienza con una profecía en dónde, El pequeño Percival junto a otros tres personajes destruirán y detendrán el caos generado por el rey Arturo. La historia ya no solo se centra en una lucha entre el bien y el mal, sino en algo que va más allá, de esa oscuridad Y de esa bondad. A mi gusto es una historia que vale la pena leer, y descubrir el magnífico mundo que viene después de los siete pecados capitales. ¡Así que verán más reseñas de varios tomos de este manga!

7DS bittikten yıllar sonra geçen bu kitap ton olarak hem 7DS'in ilk kısımlarına hem de Dragon Ball'a fazlasıyla benziyor. Zaten mangakası açıkça ifade etmişti Toriyama hayranı olduğunu. Çizimleri ve mizahında da esintileri bu kitapta fazlasıyla görüyoruz. Percival adeta Goku. Fazlasıyla saf, yaşından epey küçük gözüküyor ve dünyaya dair pek az şey biliyor. Kitap biraz yavaş başlıyor. Hem karakter tanıtımı hem de dünya kurulumu daha iyi olabilirmiş. Önceki seriyi sevdiğim için buna da şans vermeye devam edeceğim. Umarım ileride daha iyi olur.

The start of a new story set in the same universe as
The Seven Deadly Sins
so... I recommend you go read that series first.
And similar to the first series, the Holy Knights are starting off as the bad guys, seeking out the prophesied apocalypse bringers without a qualm about any innocent bystanders who get hurt, all in the name of their beloved King Arthur. Lovely.
Anyway, our protagonist is a kid named Percival (he's 16 but looks 10) who is on a quest to track down the Holy Knight Ironside (who is his father) because he killed his grandpa. A bit heavy-handed on the call-to-adventure, but we can let that slide. Percival, having lived his entire life on God's Finger with his grandpa, is currently exploring his newly expanded world, meeting a new cast of characters, and finding out he's got a bigger destiny than anyone realizes. And a generous amount of protagonist plot armor to go with it.

Comparado con el último volumen de Nanatsu, es día y noche. Es una maravillosa forma de empezar con un protagonista que no sabe mucho, qué, a pesar de ser fuerte no es OP como lo suelen ser todos en los shonen.

Si il y a bien un spin off que j’avais hâte de lire, c’était bien celui ci! J’aime beaucoup Seven deadly sins de base, bon je n’ai pas lu le manga mais j’ai vu l’anime. Alors lorsque j’ai su qu’il y allait avoir un spin off qui se déroule seize ans après SDS, j’étais vraiment très impatiente de découvrir cette histoire. J’ai enfin pris le temps de commencer la série avec ce premier tome. Et je dois bien avouer que cette série commence bien pour le coup! J’ai beaucoup aimé me plonger dans cette histoire et découvrir ce premier tome. Maintenant je suis si pressée de lire les deux tomes suivants, ça s’annonce palpitant!
Dans ce premier tome, on va suivre le personnage de Percival. Il vit seul avec son grand-père Bargis au sommet d’une haute montagne nommée le « Doigt divin ». Il y mène une vie heureuse, préservé du monde extérieur. Mais le jour de ses seize ans, son destin bascule : un mystérieux guerrier à l’armure rouge s’en prend violemment à lui et à son grand-père. En effet, ce Chevalier sacré de Camelot est chargée d’éliminer quiconque s’apparenterait aux « Four knights of the apocalyspe », un groupe de cavaliers qui, d’après la prophétie, apparaîtra pour renverser le roi Arthur.. Laissé pour mort, Percival survit à ses blessures et décide de partir en quête de vengeance et d’aventures!
Dans ce manga, on est su schéma très classique dans le shonen. Mais ce n’est pas pour autant que ça ne fonctionne pas et que c’est barbant. Bien au contraire. On découvre un jeune homme qui n’a nullement conscience de ses pouvoirs et suis part ensuite dans son périple. Comme je le dis schéma classique mais toujours aussi plaisant. Percival est un personnage assez particulier. En effet, c’est un jeune garçon assez simplet pour tout dire. Il est naïf mais surtout on oublie complètement qu’il a seize ans. D’ailleurs ce détail m’a un peu perturbé au début puisque que j’avais l’impression d’avoir un petit enfant de huit ans devant moi et pas un jeune homme de seize ans. Il a des réactions enfantines et je pense que c’est surtout pour accentuer le fait qu’il n’a absolument pas conscience de sa véritable identité et j’en passe. Et pour le coup ça marche bien!
L’intrigue est très plaisante, les four knight je trouve ça vraiment intéressant à découvrir. Ce premier tome est plein de mystères qui nous tient en haleine. Il me tarde de découvrir la suite, surtout lorsque l’on voit comment se termine le premier tome. Ça nous annonce une suite palpitante et très intéressante. Je sens que je vais vraiment beaucoup aimé suivre Percival ainsi que ses nouveaux compagnons dans sa quête. Le moins que l’on puisse dire, c’est qu’il ne va clairement pas s’ennuyer durant son périple.

I can imagine this series pissing off a lot of people, if they judged it by the cover like me, they'd assume it was a direct sequel to The Seven Deadly Sins, Vol. 1 with Meliodas's son as the lead but it's not. There are a few idea's lifted from it's predecessor, a lot like the relationship between Fairy Tail, Vol. 01 and EDENS ZERO 1.
As for the story it has a similar set up to Seven Deadly Sins, where the Holy Knights are wreaking havoc on towns people, whilst Percival is on a quest to find his father and take revenge on the Holy Knight who took his Grandpa.
So far I'm loving this, Pericaval is the right kind of naive and spunky wrapped up in a nice little package, when comparing the first volume of this to Sin, this is a clear winner much more endearing characters and interesting world building, Nakaba Suzuki has perfected his craft!

Percival es un muchacho que vive junto a su abuelo en en un paraje recondito. Un día, un caballero aparece por allí y la vida de Percival cambiará para siempre .
Emprenderá un viaje y por el camino se encontrará con unos viajeros que van hacia un pueblo, así que Percival los acompañará, pero otro caballero aparece en escena e intentará matarlo y en esa lucha Percival desatará sus poderes mágicos, pero no será suficiente. Afortunadamente alguien los pondrá fuera de peligro.
Según la profecía "En un futuro no muy lejano ,aparecerán cuatro caballeros sagrados que destruirán el mundo. Los llamarán los Four Knights of the Apocalypse"
¿Por qué hay caballeros atacando e intentado matar a Percival? ¿Qué tiene él que ver con esa profecía?
Un manga que me ha encantado, súper entretenido ,muy ameno y lleno de magia y fantasía . Lo único malo es que es la primera parte y tengo que esperar a que salga la segunda 😉.

While I like to read graphic novels, manga isn't a genre that I like. However, with assignments for college and work, I wanted to read something simple and funny that wouldn't take much of my concentration. That's when I found this series.
Well, like I said manga isn't my favorite genre, but when I found out this one was inspired by Arthurian legend I decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did. This first volume was more of an introduction to the main character Percival and I really loved him. He is so funny, but he is also very naive. Besides Percival, we have the introduction of Donny as well as Sin (a talking fox) who guides Pervical and Donny.
This series is a spin-off of another manga called: The Seven Deadly Sins. In order to read this series, I decided to watch the anime first in case it was necessary. But, if you haven't read The Seven Deadly Sins, I think it's possible to read this as a standalone.

My favorite parts of Seven Deadly Sins occurred when they toyed around with Arthurian Legend. That is dialed up to 11 in the sequel series. Seeing these takes on Percival, Gawain, Lancelot, and Tristain is highly entertaining, and I look forward to seeing them clash with Arthur. Some of the problems of the original series still exist, especially in regards to fanservice and tone, but overall another solid, fun romp so far from Suzuki.

Le début a un air de Dragon Ball, mixé avec la légende arthurienne. Si l'histoire fonctionne et avance rapidement, quelques passages m'ont tout de même dérangée (le héros qui découvre ce qu'est une fille, c'était marrant dans Dragon Ball, mais c'est bon, on l'a déjà lu). En dehors de ça, l'ensemble était agréable à lire et le jeune héros est sympathique. Les graphismes sont plutôt réussis et dynamiques, avec des bouilles expressives.

Luego de terminar Nanatsu no Taizai el año pasado, tenía grandes expectativas frente a la nueva historia que sería publicada y no decepcionó. Sin embargo, luego del primer volumen lo único que tengo son dudas xd.

A continuation of the previous 7 Deadly Sins story. Where it fits I don't know. However Percival, the young boy, is way too innocent and overpowered. It's comedy and action will make it like the early 7Sins but let's hope it doesn't overstay it's welcome like the previous story did.

The last series had a lot in common with Akira Toriyama's work, but a bunch of this volume - plots, designs, jokes - seems lifted directly out of the beginning of Dragon Ball (it seems a bit past homage).

Sin duda alguna los comienzos de Percival en este mundo han sido la mar de hilarantes, la aventura da pie a conocer más y la verdad es que tiene un elenco de personajes maravillosos.

That was a pretty bad book. the main character is a little too much like Goku in DBZ, a lot of scenes are in fact a reference to dragon ball. and the parts that are note like dbz are just boring. Nothing stand out, its very plain and the other main character made me think of Bulma lot.
For me it's like an old manga made by a fan of Akira Toriyama, not the new series of the author of Seven deadly sins.
(Sorry for the bad english it's kinda of an exercise for me to be able de write a review in english)
