An enjoyable, different type of story that has you wondering what could happen next. A dead man, a ring, and more. What could happen next.

A fast-paced and interesting book to read. Some characters were hard to understand until near the end of the story. Then their behaviors became obvious. It's a good mystery in a nice setting. It was a contrast to the previous book by this author titled A Deadly Course, especially for a couple of characters. Very refreshing in fact.
