Amazing plot, especially for a sinhala book. I’m a big fan of english thriller movies, tv series and books. I never expected a plot like this from a sinhala book. The author wanted to give the reader the feeling of watching a fast paced thriller series with suspense at the end of every chapter. And I think his approach was a big success. It’s built for binge-reading. I’m definitely reading his other books.
Another good book from Hareshu. I really enjoyed it and as always finished within 1 sitting. I could not think how Hareshu wrote exactly like a well experienced foreign writer. There were no indication of a Sri Lankan trait into the writing. If I have not known , I might think it's a translation.
2/3 of the book was amazing. But I did not like the last part on the conclusion. Don't get me wrong. The ending was good. Overall book was great. But I think considering the first part of the book, it was not finished well. I think the criticism came from his own writing skill of the first part rather than from me. As Haresh has asked not to talk about the story in the prelude. I won't talk about it.
At the end, a good book which I enjoyed and one after another, Haresh seems to amaze us with his story and the horror genre. I wonder what he can do in other genres. 😁
