If you like Highland historical romance, I recommend Highlander’s Cursed Touch. It has all the elements of a good story: a family curse, a delightful heroine, a swoon-worthy hero, enjoyable supporting characters, and a mystery. The pace was excellent- it kept me engaged and reading past my bedtime. There were a number of misspellings and typos, so the book would benefit from better editing; however, these were not too distracting, although they are the reason I gave the book four stars instead of five. Camden has just inherited the lairdship of his clan upon the sudden death of his older brother, Evan. Exactly five years before, the eldest brother had died after five years as laird. Is the family cursed? Evan requests Camden’s promise that he will wed and sire a son as soon as possible. When Camden, overwhelmed, takes off on his horse into the night, he is followed by hooded bandits. Bonnie, a struggling village healer, hides Camden and saves his life. This begins the adventure and Bonnie and Camden’s sweet love story. Excellent book.

Camden was hopeful it didn't exist.
However 5 years to the day, his brother died, leaving Camden as the last make member of his family to be laird.
Life was tough in the highlands of Regency times, there was no modern medication for a cut or sickness.
Herbs and other plants where used to heal and save lives.
Camden needed help from the local
healer, Bonnie Gray.
Bonnie's had never had an easy life, she was orphaned very young and learnt skills to survive. However treatment for the laird was not what she expected to provide.
The sparks started to fly about as soon as these two meet.
This really is a very good book
I am sure that it will delight most readers.
It is another from the talented highland author, Kenna Kendrick.
Kenna always adds a touch of magic sprinkled around the highlands, it keeps me reading until I have finished the book.

A Curse, Family Members Dying, Treachery Lingered, Plots All Around, Hidden Secrets , and Revenge that know one new about. These are a few of the things making up Thais incredible storyline. Besides finding True Love.
Bonnie Gray and Camden Haggan met when he was on the run. She was a Healer and He was a newly appointed Laird after his two older Brothers died. After she helped save his life he repaid the favor by helping her and making her the Castle Healer. There Journey begins by kindness and grows into something much more.
This story has a lot of depth, emotional pasts, family obligations, guilt, promises, and honor. You will feel for this couples connection and by doing so you will experience an excellent tale.

There is a question to be answered is there a curse or not. Kenna gives us the answer we read thru this story. I love the characters Camden and Bonnie. For each has suffered tragedy in different ways. The book is fast paced and keeps you glued to the story to see what happens next. I love the way Camden is very caring and open to Bonnie. I love the way Kenna uses descriptive words to show emotions and caring. It's a page turner and a interesting read. I was routing for Camden and Bonnie from the beginning to end. You will enjoy this story. J

Action packed
I completely missed the bad guys in the story. I was so engrossed with the action, suspense and intrigue throughout the story that I missed some clues.

Great love story
I enjoyed this book. Emily almost ended all of Camden family. Bonnie was was a part of the castle family and didn’t know it.
