Warrior Elite #2

Saved and Savaged

Rate this book
Sold by my father to a group of strange men, I vow to never trust another male again.
When my buyers turn out to be scientists who plan to experiment on me, I pray for a savior.
Fate sends me a savage, horned alien alpha instead.

Can I learn to trust him, or is he as cruel as the rest of his gender?

This story is knot for the faint of heart. It is a dark action-packed Omegaverse story set in a world where violence and sexual situations occur. Scenes are not glossed over. Sensitive readers please abstain.

After Rescued and Ruined i was curious who would bring Gric down after his a**hole behaviour towards Craize.
So,Savaged and Saved it was….
It was a pleasant read,not tóó complicated,a simple storyline,with again,a reluctant heroine.
Having read 2 stories in this series,i ám however ready for something….more complex, and preferably a little darker.

Gric never expected to find a lifemate,so when their latest mission involved the unexpected rescue of a bunch of Omegas,he was shocked to find himself attracted to one of them.
Not only attracked,no…Keziah was his,and that was it!
But when mounting her,he found she wasn’t even wet for him….and that just wouldn’t do.
Until he saw her bravery, her protectiveness of the other Omegas….
Thát made him think, and he started to see her in a different light.
When they finally díd mate,he fell even further down the rabbithole called love, and he now understood Craize’s behavior.
But they still needed to get the Omegas to safety, and the journey was filled with danger…

Keziah was the one that took care of her family, with her father away most of the time.
But when he returned home this time,he did something unforgivable….he sold her to the ISC!
Thinking her life was over, her chances of finding love gone forever, she did the only thing she knew…she took care of the Omegas that were trapped with her on the transport to the ISC facilities.
Being rescued by a huge demonlike male wasn’t something she thought would happen.
Being claimed, and then rejected, was not on her list either…
But when he reconsidered, and she got to know him,she started to see the man beneath the tough exterior.
Torn between him and the love for her family, she couldn’t decide who her future was with.
They still needed to get to safety,so she could enjoy being with him a little longer before she had to decide what to do.
Until the decision was taken from her…..and the only one she could remember was Gric.

A fast paced story with again a reluctant hero and heroine, this story was a good read.
Like i said,not to complicated,not tóó deep,but enjoyable.
I would’ve liked to have seen a little more of groveling from her father before she allowed him near his family again.
And an explanation as to why he sold her to begin with.
And she díd forgive Gric a little quick for his brutal behaviour when they first met.
But. All in all,an enjoyable story.

I had to DNF this at 33% because the MMC essentially r@pes the FMC.

She's injured, she's scared, she straight up says "NO" MULTIPLE times. And yet, he persists and stabs it in her causing her to.... Black out? Like wtf is this? This was the first time I've read an omegaverse book and wow I'm pretty disappointed.

ALSO author, if you could add ACTUAL trigger warnings that would be great. Because the ones that are listed in the blurb are very vague and by no means helpful for people who are looking to avoid r@pe. I'm sorry but that's just wrong.

I've been told the omega should be cared for and they should boink when she's healthy and happy. Do better.

I am absolutely enjoying this new Warrior Elite series by V.T. Bonds! I was a little uncertain, though, whether I could buy into book #2, Saved and Savaged only because Gric was such a complete jacka** toward Craize and his other warrior teammates in the previous book. How could any female, Omega or otherwise, fall for a rash and reckless pile of bricks like him anyway?? But he did get adequate comeuppance (much to the enjoyment of the other members of the team), and he learned what it was like to be roped, tied and owned by his sweet Omega, Keziah. The sizzle between these two—whoo, girl, it was HOT! And Keziah might be my favorite Omega character yet: so empathetic and, good lord, what she’s been through in her short life.

The relentless action and suspense in this 2nd book kept my nose glued to the pages. The enemy, ISC, while taken down a peg or two, is far from defeated. Yet. And they are ruthless and vicious in their efforts to oust the rebel warriors. I also enjoyed reading small glimpses of beloved characters from previous books. I had the opportunity to review an early copy and this is my honest opinion. I’m eagerly awaiting book #3! Five stars.

İt was supposed to be a simple mission for the team when Gric and his team accidently meet transporter full of captured and frightened omegas.
But one strikingly omega call to his alpha.
Mine. The brave Keziah speak to his alpha mind.
Mine. The bond of their alpha and omega struck. Making Gric goes savage to her already abused body.
His. Her omega cheered in delight although her minds scream in terror on how another abuse fall on her.

First of all, the cover look exactly like how she potrayed Keziah. I love that for not every day you meet a cover sit perfectly well with the potrayed charachter.
And the way ms. Bonds tell her story of omegaverse? Love it! How the natural chemistry between alpha and omega goes so animalistic yet, Keziah's mind still work in how she can't trust Gric fully for how men in her life abuse her.
And love how their chemistry going stronger in the danger on the run of saving their life.

Bit too fast, its like a blur on few scenes like when a building colaps on both Keziah and Gric. I have to get back a few pages just to see what happened.

Overall, i absolutely enjoy this book. But why or why that one particularly long waited smegsi scene wasn't there???

I was once again enthralled with another alpha alien warrior of V.T. Bond's world where chaos and violence rules but amid this there is a spark ignited by the life mate that ensnares the brutal warrior’s heart as Keziah did with Gric.

He was brutal to her in the beginning but somehow with all this amazing writers characters he crawled into my heart as big and menacing as he is he is a romantic softy at heart!

I enjoyed their journey to love, forgiveness and trust and most of all the importance of family!

I look forward to the next strong menacing alpha alien to fall for his life mate……
Could it be Fek?……….:

What a wonderful world you step into with this book. A harsh world where aliens prey on female, human omegas. They kidnap, mistreat and abuse. But before the group of alphas get the chance to abuse Keziah, she, along with several more women, is rescued by a group of demons. A group of alphas who look so dangerous and scary that the women are immediately afraid but also realize that they are being saved. For the tallest of these men to claim Keziah as his own is frightening, but she too feels the attraction to him.

Gric sees the little omega and knows he is lost. Where he previously thought a teammate was crazy after he found his lifemate, he now knows what this means. He will do anything for Keziah's happiness.

I enjoyed this story. The slumbering feelings that arise instantly and the feelings of confusion were well described. The World of the Warrior Elite Series; looking forward to part 3

I received an ARC from the writer. This review is given voluntarily

VT transported to me to another world full of alien alpha and the strong omegas that bring them to their knees.
Keziah has to be one of my favorite omegas that VT has written. This young woman stays strong no matter what is thrown at her and she loves so unconditionally. She shows bravery when I least expected it and I love how she earns her Alpha’s respect, devotion and awe.
Gric is the biggest and most brutal out of his group. His was born a warrior and believes that is how his life is meant to be led until his lifemate comes along.
Their journey is a rough one filled with tests, danger, and unsureness, but it’s well worth it for the sweet ending. I adore how Keziah made Gric turn into a huge protective teddy bear.
VT paints such vivid pictures with her words - her talent shines as landscapes and characters are created within these pages. I was kept glued to my kindle as the twists hit and surprises popped up while my heart was gripped with emotion from each of the MCs’ worries and pain. I absolutely loved how this unfolded and how the growth of both characters. I enjoyed this to the tenth degree and despised reaching the end. Definitely one of my favorite couples so far.

Holy Christmas trees batman... WTF did I just read?!?! I don't even know where to start with this. I started reading this and literally couldn't put it down till I finished. Did the p** p** dance in my chair because I didn't want to stop reading :)) That is how engrossed in this story I was. Made a mad dash down the hall and dashed back to my book as quickly as possible right after :)) Don't judge me! It was worth it!

Now where was I? Oh yes we were talking about this fabulous freaking book! V.T. Bonds did it again. She freaking blew me out of the water with this story. I don't think I have ever read an omega that was so torn in half about what she wanted. And what she thought she could have. She literally made herself forget half her life so that she could be happy with what she thought her life was going to be going forward. Thinking the two halves of her life could never coexist together. I was so relieved when Keziah realized how wrong she was.

Gric... Now there is an Alpha that needs his head smacked a good couple of times by Keziah. I couldn't believe what that man was thinking about doing. I know he felt some guilt and shame over things.. but dayum... Keziah really needs to knock some sense into that Alpha of hers. They both need to delve into that bond of theirs and start reading each other a little better before more misunderstandings happen between them. This could have gone so very bad so very easily. Although I am a little confused as to how both of them managed to hide so much from each other with the bond between them? I wonder is it because its not a complete bond yet? Keziah hasn't marked Gric yet. Maybe that is why they were able to hide so much from each other.

Regardless I loved the story. Even though I wanted to smack both of them a few times. In the end they both realized they couldn't live without the other. Gric made sure that Keziah had what she needed to be content in her life which in turn ensures that he would be content also. I loved it! I can't wait for the next book in the series. I have to know what happened that drove Fek' berserk! It's gonna drive me nuts wondering till the next book!

This was a riveting read that I had to finish in one sitting, great character and plot
This was a simply wonderful addition to the series and I have to worn that once you begin reading you will not be able to put the book down. The group had ben on what should have been a fairly standard mission until the team had come across a transporter filled with Omega’s that had been very badly treated and urgently bedded help.
Gric a large blue horned alien had known as soon as he saw the tiny dark haired and eyed omega that she was his and that he would do whatever it took to keep her safe right down to his very last breath. His “Tiny Fierceling” Keziah was only interested in caring for all the other omega’s especially the younger ones.
As Keziah takes over his giant heart, Gric begins to see things in a very different light and she soon shows him that she considers him to be her Alpha, her protector and the love she has for him humbles him and makes him feel as though he would fight an army to keep her safe.
Read this amazing book I guarantee that you will not be able to put it down once you reach the end and discover the outcome and what happens to Keziah and Gric along with all of the other members of the team.
I do not want to spoil the plot so will say no more about the three of them, I assure you that you will enjoy every single moment of this book.
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.
I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.

3.00 Stars. (Black Omega/ Blue horned Alien). This is the first book in this is series that I have read and do be fair to a long series, I am lost regarding the world of created governing the original and this spin off. I enjoyed this story despite not fully understanding the mythos. The heroine, Zeziah, is an omega and primary bread winner for her mother and siblings because their father is a lazy gambler. To pay a debt, Zeziah's father sold her to the Intergalactic Science Corp, this organization performs experiments on omegas and other alien species. The hero, Grec, is a 7 foot blue skinned horned warrior whose Brotherhood is at war with this science group. Neither Zeziah nor Grec has romance on their minds when they meet during an encounter between the defenders of the science group and the warrior; however, Grec immediately knows that Zeziah is his life mate. He's angry because would be is last choice for a mate and Zeziah feels a pull toward Grec but resists the notion of being mated to him. The story revolves around these two things and ends with Zeziah and many of the omega's being rescued and taken to safety and with Zeziah and Grec mating and Zeziah reuniting with her family.

The Good:

I did not finish the book. That was the best part. Also, the female lead is black which was pretty cool.

The Bad:

In this book, the male lifemate forces the female to drink water to the point of choking her and honestly, consuming that much water (to the point that it distends her belly) could fucking kill her. This is a common theme in this author's books. Maybe she fantasizes about drowning? I don't know...and I don't think I want to know.

The Ugly:

To be honest, my disgust is my own fault because I did not check my "do not read these authors" list before diving into this book. The first book I read from this author was pretty horrifying, and I definitely wouldn't have taken another glimpse into this author's head had I realized. If you enjoy reading about a virgin being raped by her supposed lifemate, this book's for you! The female describes the rape as "astronomically painful" which is after she said no and started crying. My question to the author is this: what the fuck is wrong with you? And my question to the reviewers who enjoyed the book is this: what the FUCK is wrong with you? I really just don't get how this is entertaining or even sexy.

This is the second book in the series, although I wouldn’t say it’s essential to read the previous book first. There are some dark themes in the book, though it mostly feels appropriate in the context of the story. The female main character, Keziah, has many endearing qualities and is very likeable. The way she is treated initially by Gric, the male main character, though, did make me uncomfortable, especially the rape scene.

I really liked the female narrator, who epitomised Keziah’s gentle nature with her soothing voice. The male narrator uses quite a harsh, grating voice for Gric which I wasn’t overly keen on - to be honest it kind of reminded me of the voice over in the old ‘Teenage Mutant Nunja Turtles’ cartoons, which is not ideal! I did get used to it though, and found it less grating as I got further into the book.

Once Keziah and Gric start to bond, the story becomes quite engrossing and I couldn’t stop listening. The world building is excellent and the alpha / omega dynamics make for some fascinating interactions between the various characters. All in all a great story!

Savaged, then Saved.

This book was the 2nd in VT Bonds’ Warrior Elite series and it was phenomenal.

We are introduced to Keziah, who quickly goes from being a loving and supportive daughter, living in an area with little food and water, to a sold Omega. As she is being transported, she finds herself in a seriously demoralizing situation, where emotional and physical trauma takes her beyond any semblance of herself.

Enter Gric, the jokester Alpha of his elite group of warriors. The one who mouths off before he thinks, never believing he could be bound to any Omega. He is not sensitive. He is not especially caring. He certainly sees no future with Keziah.

Until he does.

This is probably the most heartbreaking story in Bonds’ Omegaverse. When your heart hurts for this Omega, and then for this Alphahole, you KNOW you are reading good sh*t.

This is the second book in the Warrior Elite series, which is a spin-off of the Alpha Elite series. You don't need to have read any of the other books, but there are crossover characters and and a storyline that ties them all together. I would recommend reading them because they are all fabulous.

This was a wild, emotional ride from beginning to end. There is so much pain and sorrow, but also moments of sweetness and steamy passion. Keziah is brave and loyal, and she's also been hurt and isn't quick to trust. Gric is a man on a mission and he doesn't have time for a mate. Especially one so small. Their beginning isn't sunshine and roses and they're going to have to fight to reach safety, but their reward will be worth all the pain. I loved this one just as much as I've loved every other story set in this universe and I can't wait to read the next one.

Wow this story was AMAZING!!!
I mean I absolutely LOVE the Alpha Elite Series and wish that it could continue on forever. Now I kind of get my wish. This Warriors Elite Series allows fans to not only see their beloved characters from that series but also brand new couples. V.T. does Alphas so well and you see these huge, overbearing, possessive Alphas meet their life mates. More animal than human in nature at times but all it takes is the sight or scent of their lifemate and everything changes. Keziah and Gric were so great together and I love how V.T. does not right the typical omegaverse stories. Her stories immerse you in the hurt and the pain of that Omega. They make you feel her past and trauma and how the FMC struggles to reconcile the past and her future with her lifemate. Loved it! Fantastic read and I can't wait to see more to come.

Keziah & Gric Another great read. Book 2 follows perfectly from Raeni & Craize’s story in Book 1, Rescued & Ruined. Another Alpha team is set to sabotage and eliminate the ISC (Intergalactic Science Corps) from killing and testing on species. ISC’s immoral and unethical practices need to stop. Partnered off the Alpha Elite, this Alpha team are finding their life mates just as the Elites did and watching these tiny females take these large males down is beautiful and magic. This is a feel good story that makes the heart love and give oneself a hug. The joker of the group finally takes things serious when his mate is endangered. Psst of you sign up for this author’s newsletter there is a chance to get an extra scene.

As an avid omegaverse reader this book hit all the marks. I enjoyed seeing more of the universe and characters in this book and found having a bit more character backstory interesting (I gave the first book 3 stars cause it didn’t give much back story or world building)

I would say this series is still a bit heavy on the smut, light plot, but hey, sometimes that’s the point 🤷🏻‍♀️

Disclaimer: I did receive a free version of the audiobook in exchange for a review but I had already read the first one and am interested in continuing the series. Also I’d recommend the audiobook, the narrators were good, though I did speed it up since they spoke a bit slow for me (though I usually do). Be sure to check the TWs before reading.

I enjoyed this first book in this series, but I loved this one even more. The story was exciting from the start. I was right there with the heroine, experiencing her fear, pain, and determination after her father sold her to cruel men who were not afraid to inflict pain or rape. I liked both Keziah (heroine) and Gric (hero). Good world building.

I listened to this as an audiobook with dual narration by Curt Bonnem and Lacey Laurel. Both did a good job and I really like that in this series the male voice actor reads all the male voices, and the female voice actor reads all the female voices regardless of which character's POV chapter it is.

Overall: 4 stars
Performance: 4 stars
Story: 5 stars

This is Gric and Keziah's story in book 2 of the Warrior Elite Series.

This story begins with Keziah being sold by her father. While being transported, Gric who is fighting against the ICS, finds her and other omegas. That is when Gric realizes that she is his lifemate.

Gric's main mission now is to get the omegas back to base camp alive; however, that is when all hell breaks loose.

I can’t tell you more without giving away spoilers but what I can say is the way Gric takes care of his omega, it is beautiful. Even though Gric is the biggest baddest alpha around, he is her gentle giant.

I so loved this book and I can’t wait for the next installment!

Keziah the kind meets Gric the d!ck

This book is truly a delight I did not want to end. Keziah is sold and brutalized before her rescue by a terrifying beast of an alpha who turns her worldview on its head. He’s frightening but nothing like the men she was rescued from. Gric is fueled by rage to destroy their common enemy. He has no time for a mate. But Keziah turns his world upside down and he ends up having to eat his words. I love their dynamic, the way they grow together, and their difficult path to happy for now. I always say this because it’s always true: I would have loved to have more time with these two!

He saved her and then savaged her

We return to Alpha Elite series with a new group of warriors. These alien alphas are huge and scary. Life was hard for Keziah, as an omega. With her mom expecting she was left to carry the load of care for her siblings. She did what she could, but then her father betrayed her. I loved Keziah's strength and determination. Gric is just the greatest alpha, so gruff and brutish, but a total marshmallow when it comes to his life mate. I definitely recommend this book.

Why is it this author has one character in a series that has a chip in his shoulder but always ends up being the sweetest and most loveable character for me? She did it in the previous series and she has done it again! I want me a Gric! He sounds both sexy and sweet! He loves his Omega from the start even if he isn't so great at showing it. And they are so great to read together! Keziah was amazing to read. She was strong yet showed her Omega side and I just loved these 2 together! This is a dark Omegaverse but I highly suggest you give it a chance! These two are worth the read!

Ugh, I am so in love with the Warrior Elite series! Every single one of these warrior males are pure bloodlust and savagery, but melt like puppy dogs for their life mates. Gric is the ultimate baddy - huge, merciless, and deathly protective of those he loves. I cannot get enough of his doting over his omega, Keziah (who is fiercely protective in her own right). My heart broke to learn of her circumstances, but it was so satisfying to see her rise through the ashes to grab her happily ever after.

Keziah was a strong heroine, because she survived so much yet remained strong, caring, and selfless. I liked seeing the changes in Gric after his initial barbarism to Keziah. He seemed remorseful and understood (after some time with Keziah) the importance of the matebond and taking care of her emotionally and physically. I voluntarily listened to a free audio copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narration was great. The different voices added positively to my audio experience. The audio quality and production were very good.

Book 2 in the series. It is a bit tamer than the first book, but still fast paced with a lot of action. Keziah is a reluctant heroine of the story. Gric is the alien rescuer. Keziah had been sold by her father. While on the ISC transport ship, she took charge and care of the other Omegas. Gric and Keziah have a rough start, in the end it works out. Overall, this was a good story. Narration was well done and a joy to listen to.

I received a free copy of this audiobook, and am voluntarily leaving my review.

Saved and Savaged is book two in the Warrior Elite Series and Gric and Keziah's story. Keziah is sold by her father and while she’s being transported Gric finds her and their journey begins. I fell in love with Keziah right from the start, she had such strength to her character. She’s my favorite Omega character so far. I would love to have my very own Gric, he may be a big bad savage alpha, but with Keziah he’s so caring. I loved every single page of this one and I can’t wait for book three.

Gric and Keziah’s story was phenomenal! It starts off explosive and doesn’t slow down one bit. There is so much action, adventure, danger, drama and steamy moments that it kept me on the edge of my seat, biting my nails and gasping at every twisted turn of event.

Another really well written omegaverse story that will captivate you, entertain you and provide you with all kinds of exciting and titillating moments.

I absolutely loved it and can’t wait for the next book in this series.

Colorful

Such an imaginative story. Keziah has been sold to brutal alphas by her own father….ripped from her home and family. She is herded with other omegas when they are saved by Gric and his fellow warriors. Gric recognizes Keziah as his life mate and reluctantly claims her. The world this author has created is nothing short of amazing and their connection is heartstoppingly hot…..so good.

This was a great audio book. As I was listening to it the sound was a page tuner. Keziah and Gric that had chemistry and it was so special. It was an action packed drama. I got addicted to this series so quickly these characters was great. They were tough people. It might had a little romantic going between these two. Maybe even love. These Alphas were like over bearing as well possessive Alphas.

I loved the dual narration of Lacy Laurel and Curt Bonnem, both bring out the angst, humour and action.

This book is a wild, emotional ride from beginning to end. Keziah has been hurt but is brave and loyal. Gric doesn't have time for a mate. Gric maybe a Alpha , but he so needs a good shake. Both Keziah and Gric need to trust each other and stop theirs misunderstandings happen between them. A great fun, action, steamy, angst book.
