I’m on a mission to find kinky romance stories that have as much love, intimacy, and respect as vanilla romances—and that’s exactly that this story had! A married couple who’ve lost their spark in the bedroom, their disconnect was that Brandi wanted them to be kinkier but Edwin couldn’t mentally reconcile kink and his love for her because he thinks non-missionary positions and dirty talk (let alone kink) are inherently objectifying.
This story was so loving and sex positive that if you don’t get as hung up on illogical plot points as I do, you’ll love this! The plot was all about Brandi’s multi-page sex bucket list. The sexy times were such a wonderful mixture of sweet and dirty. I loved their journey. By the end, they were exploring such specific kinks with so much love and open-mindedness that I totally buy this HEA.
That said, illogical plot point alert 😅 The series revolves around a specific sex club. Except for some reason Edwin was already a member of the club, on a first name basis with its employees, and knew its weekly schedule. But he’s a vanilla guy who has been completely faithful to his wife for the last seven years. HUH?? And the heroine didn’t even question it. Meanwhile it was so nonsensical that even thinking about it now makes my heart pound 😆

I enjoyed this novella from page one. It is a short story that focuses on something many relationships encounter when one partner is dissatisfied with some aspect of their union. In this case, the wife is sexually unsatisfied and is over it. After finally taking heed to his wife's position and seeking counsel from his brother, he sets about getting his relationship in order.
This was insightful, inspiring and hot as hell. It moved well. The characters were interesting and the situation relatable. Great job!

I see you Edwin! How did you go from unsatisfying and predictable, to nasty as hell in point two seconds? 😂 Guess all it takes is the thought that you could lose your wife, to give you some act right! Edwin came strong and correct, after he "finally" realized that his trash ass parents had steered him wrong, when it came to his wife! Brandi loved all the changes in her man, as they were getting it in any and everywhere! This could have been a teach me how to book, for real for real! 😂 Loved it! 👍👍👍

I really enjoyed this story and the characters and their situation were very relatable. I'm glad that Edwin learned to listen to his wife's needs and did what was needed for him to keep her. This was hot and sexy. Now let me go make myself a list. I would recommend this book.

Wholesome huh???
Talk about stubborn. Eddy almost lost his Beloved Brandi by not meeting his wife's needs. I loved how he stepped up to the plate. This book gave insight on what could go wrong in a marriage but also showed us a possible solution that works for everyone involved. While this author claims her books are wholesome, prepare yourself for the sexy, unadulterated sexy! Another good read!

I'm satisfied
This was a good read. Brandi made her husband learn real quick that he needed to spice things up in the bedroom before it caused more damage to their marriage. Once they stopped following the traditional things that were taught to them by their parents they made a lot of improvements in their lovemaking.

This is starting off great. How many of us have been told that sex is to make the man happy? What a misconception that is being spewed to girls and women growing up. Why can’t the woman be pleased? “My mother told me that sex is never for the woman; it’s used to help or make men feel good about themselves and that my job as the woman was to lay there and not make a sound until he’s done.”
You can’t take advice from someone that is not in or living in a successful marriage.
“Bruh, you gotta figure out what turns her on and what pushes her over that cliff.”
“If you’re not willing to change to at least please her, step aside and let someone else who’s capable do it.”
How many of our mothers think that as long as the bills are paid, money in the account, and food on the table that it is okay that the father cheats?
Why do men stay in relationships when they can’t give what you need? Why not step aside so someone else can please the woman?

Happy Wife, Happy Life. Brandi has been trying to tell her husband Edwin that she is not satisfied in his marriage but he is not listening to her. Both of them both start of their sexual relationships by listening to bad advice from their parents which is the main cause of the lack of sexual curiosity in their marriage. Once Brandi, chats with her girls she realizes that sex is just not about the happiness of the man. Brandi finally puts her foot down and Edwin begins to realize that if he doesn’t listen to her he could lose the the best thing to happen to him. After some shocking Brotherly advice, Edwin puts his pride and ego to the side and decides to work together with Brandi to fix their marriage.
I really enjoyed the growing relationship between Edwin and Brandi. Even though, their parents tried to force them to be together they fell in love on their own time. Enemies to lovers. This was a nice erotic novella about a married couple who are going through a rough patch sexually because one spouse feels unsatisfied. The premise is that Edwin and Brandi come from wealthy, privileged if pretty toxic backgrounds and that has informed the way they’ve gone into their 6-year marriage. Despite their love for each other, Brandi feels sexually unfulfilled especially since she’s communicated this to Edwin several times and kind of been gaslit. When Edwin realises he might lose his wife if things don’t change, he decides to fulfill his wife’s adult bucket list.
I like stories about already married couples and I felt like this was a realistic yet immensely sexy portrayal of the struggles that could ensue in terms of intimacy. It sucked that Edwin needed a hard ultimatum to listen but I loved that when he finally listened, he REALLY listened and once the story took off, though quite gratuitously spicy, it was incredibly cute with a lovely double epilogue. I liked this.

This was a read that was a page-turner that I quickly consumed. I enjoyed how an already established couple was introduced and we were able to see what was happening in their relationship but not consumed with the back story. That bucket list and those scenes where they experienced the list together was amazing! My favorite thing about this book would have to be how individually Brandi was able to communicate her wants and needs and how Edwin was able to humble himself to be able to hear his wife and respond appropriately. This was my first experience with J. Chary's work but I was not disappointed... so it will not be the last.

While it was a very hot read I really loved the concept and the overall storyline. Edwin is a man after my own heart. He realized that he wasn’t giving his wife what she needed and decided she was worth the sacrifice. That’s really all any woman wants, the willingness to try. He definitely went above and beyond when it came to her bucket list. It just further proved that he loved Brandi and he wanted to be every she needed! Loved it

I typically only rate short stories 3 stars at the most, but I had to make an exception for Satisfy Me by J. Chary. At the center of the novella is a very real and serious topic that isn't discussed enough. There's great storytelling, very good writing, lots of spice and a great happy ending - one that I didn't even expect. I highly recommend Satisfy Me.

This book was so good. I was looking at Edwin sideways for being so oblivious to what his wife told him. I was glad when Brandi finally took the gloves off and told him exactly how she felt and what was missing. Once Edwin realized the error of his ways and that he needed to listen and change he understood the assignment very well. This series has me thinking maybe I need to create me a bucket list.

This was definitely way more than an erotic story. It was definitely an evolution of a couple who were lacking in their marriage and relationship. There are many couples, married or not, who are like this and don't know how to overcome it. This story will leave you very aroused and hoping for a relationship like theirs, depending on what you're comfortable with, of course.

This was hot AF...

Every scene between Edwin and Brandi was hot and I couldn't get enough. I also loved that it bought them closer as a couple that eventually started a family. This was such a great read!!!
