One of those so bad it's good books. It's rare to find a novel that's bad, but you can't put it down. The Night Watcher is just that book. i found it in a bargain bin. Thought, "Hell, I could do worse." Let it sit for over a year. Boy, was I surprised.

The janitor at Dorsett high school sees it as his school. His cathedral. Any one desecrating it must pay. Be it a student or teacher. A real psycho. He sees graffiti on "his" wall, but luckily for the punk who did it it was water soluble, so it came of easy. You get loads of treasures like this through out the chapters. You also get the architect who designed the school. He has a step son who attends the school and sells drugs too.

This was almost a rare slasher novel like Joyride, also from the 80's. But it drifts more to the thriller /psycho genre. What ever it was supposed to be, it quickly becomes a funny mess. Not bad if you can find it.
