I have to admit I almost didn’t give this book a chance. I was thrown off on the first two pages some grammatical errors that made me misunderstand the story. Remembering how some authors stumble at starting, I decided to give it 3 chapters and glad I kept reading. The book feels translated but over all it was a great mix of Cultivation growth and story line and the character development grew throughout. I suggest to give it a chance because I feel like this is a great story. Moving on to book 2 now.
The one good thing about this book is that he’s so busy striding about being rude, killing people, going on about how powerful he is, and getting extravagant items that the author forgot to have all the women fawn over him. I think I’d have done myself an injury from sheer annoyance. Maybe they do that in the second half of the book, though. Did not finish. And how.
