Montana Daddies #13

Daddy's Sassy Sweetheart

Rate this book
When life knocked her down, Kiesha got right back up.
Thing was, life seemed to knock her down a lot.
There was only so much a girl could take before she got up punching.
Only that would likely get her arrested. Not a good look when the sheriff was your pseudo brother and boss.
Not that she put a lot of stock in following the rules . . . they were made to be broken.
Most of the time.

Harry had followed the rules most of his life . . . and where had that gotten him?
Sure, he was successful and wealthy.
But he was also lonely and empty.
The only time he felt alive was when he visited the weird town of Wishingbone, Montana.
And the woman who kept catching his eye.
He knew he should steer clear of Kiesha. She was way too young for him. They were complete opposites.
And yet, if anyone was in need of a calming influence, it was her . . . as well as a trip or two over his knee.

Harry better hold on, because this Daddy is in for a heck of a ride.

This book was cute though long. If you are familiar with this author, this is a pretty decent read from her. The character of Keisha is hilarious, she is very cute and often outrageous and stayed consistent with how she is portrayed in previous books. Harrison (her daddy) is kind of a fuddy duddy older man but they are good together and bring out the best in each other.
I only rated this a three star because of my own criteria. Many people who like stories of littles and their DDs will enjoy this however for me the writing style was too simplistic. The characters and plot were straight forward and predictable but not great. This book has zero complexity and kept going on and on at the end. It could have ended four chapters earlier because the rest was just an extra 100 pages of Keisha as a little and various sex scenes of them together. This author isn’t really my cup of tea. I like deeper stories with much more character development and realism. Also I thought Keisha was a WoC in previous books so I was excited to read about a different and diverse character type but the author did very little to describe her in this book that I am questioning wether she was actually African American or not. Maybe she didn’t want to be specific about it, which is unfortunate.
Overall fans of LR will likely eat this up and enjoy Keisha’s story.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Do you remember Kiesha? She was working for Ed,the sheriff of Wishingbone?
Always riding on her rollerskates, acting reckless?
Giving Ed grey hairs with her actions, comebacks and….well, everything she does?
We finally get her story, and it’s a story that is só sad….but very good at the same time!
And i got the ARC in exchange for an honest review…..WOOHOO!

Kiesha has always been a brat it seems, and she’s acted reckless too many times for Ed to count.
His little “sister from another mother” is his responsibility, and he has a tough time keeping up.
But there’s a new man in town….one that arrived to get closer to his daughter,Marisol, but found himself looking forward to each time he saw Kiesha.
Harry has spent his life working, and not living.
His disaster of a marriage took away any joy he had,and that meant his sweet daughter, too…
He regrets being absent in her life, and intends to make up for it now.
Kiesha brightening up his days is a bonus he never expected, but he’ll take every second he can get with her.

Kiesha hides a lot behind her recklessness and bratty behaviour, and she’s gotten away with it….until Harry.
He sees the little girl that hides behind the façade, and he loves the way she embraces life.
She makes him see how dull his life really is….how he doesn’t work to live, but lives to work.
And he’s decided it’s time for a change, starting with quitting his job at the lawfirm he works at.
He wants to get to know a certain girl better….a lot better!
And what he gets when he peels away the layers,is a sweet little girl that has a good sense of humor, keeps him on his toes, and needs him to show her her worth.
Needs him to show her he’s here to stay….

Kiesha always helps others,is always thinking of others.
But when she needs help, and boy does she!,she stays quiet.
Because she doesn’t want to be a burden….doesn’t want to make life difficult for others.
Doesn’t want to make people uncomfortable by showing them how lost she’d become after losing her boyfriend Jonah.
Harry has a way of stripping her of her “independence” like no one ever could, and it frightens her.
Because he gets her,he doesn’t want to change her and instead joins her in her jokes.
At the same time,he draws a line in a way that respects her,but still gives her the structure she never knew she needed.
But how would he react if she revealed all of her dark secrets??
Because the past isn’t done with her yet….

Laylah has an unique gift of sharing the love of these sweet little girls and their Daddies.
Showing how careful these Daddies are with the little girls they claim.
How these littles start to blossom under the care of their loving Daddies, even if they get spanked when they get into trouble….
Kiesha really needed a Daddy to treasure her,and Harry was the perfect man for her.
I loved their beautiful story!

*sigh*
This was perfect.
I’m so glad Keisha and Harry got their HEA.

This was really entertaining.
Keisha is such a brat. She’s completely full of life and loves to have fun any way she can.
She’s got an attitude that was really fun to read and all the little jokes and teasing she did with Harry and everyone else was always cute and had me giggling a few times at her antics.

And Harry. He’s a really good mix of proper and sophisticated, dominant and possessive, and also knows how to let Keisha have fun while also keeping her safe.
It was fun seeing him relax and live a little with her to keep him on his toes.

I loved this. Obviously. I love basically every single thing this author writes.

I’m a bit bummed I read this so fast, even with forcing myself to take breaks to spread it out and make it last longer.

I can’t wait for her next book to come out. As always, I’ve got it marked on my calendar and I’m just counting down the days till it releases.

1. Ridiculously overwrought and too short on story, which is all jam packed at the beginning before the rest descends into redundantly unsexy, skimmable scenes.

2. Apparently if white writers can’t use food coloured descriptions then they’re entirely unable to say a character is Black.

3. The name is spelled Keisha. Not Kiesha. Basic, basic research.

4. Blah.

5. Overdoing a word makes it useless.

Having only discovered this author through a friend's recommendation, I've spent the past month binge-reading the first 12 books in this series and have enjoyed all of them, so I was thrilled and grateful to receive an advance reader copy of book #13 from the author, and so happy to learn that it was Keisha's story, since she's been a constant source of amusement and craziness throughout the series. Once again this was another thoroughly enjoyable read and it gets 4.5 stars from this reader.

Keisha works for Ed, the sheriff of Wishingbone, Montana, the setting for all the books in this series. He's been a pseudo big brother to Keisha for years, rather than just her boss. He's tried, repeatedly, to curb some of her crazy and reckless behavior, but it's not until Marisol's step-uncle, Harry, arrives in town for a visit and a vacation from his busy career as an attorney (we read her story and met him in a previous novel), that Harry's path and Keisha's collide, literally. Keisha, speeding along on her roller skates because she's late for work, and far too easily distracted and scatterbrained to pass a driver's license exam, crashes right in front of Harry as he steps outside the diner, and he's quick to notice that there's no protective gear on her in sight. While Harry is basically a stranger to her, her antics begin to bring out his protective instincts, and once he brings her to Ed's office to have her scrapes and bruises tended to, he begins to to get the full Keisha experience, and what an experience this bratty, reckless, sugar-addicted, little girl in a woman's body really is.

Although Harry is a good deal older than Keisha, he finds her charming and adorable, and just what he needs to brighten up what has become his mundane day-to-day life, and there's one thing you can say about Keisha, there's never a dull moment when she's around. She's chatty, funny, lies a lot for self-protection, cares deeply for her friends, and has been on her own with a deep, dark and dangerous secret for some time, and it's one she's never shared with any of the many friends she's made in Wishingbone, which seems like everyone in town she's ever met. She's got a heart of gold, little sense of self-preservation, and as her friendship with Harry progresses, and as we learn more about Keisha's life outside of Wishingbone, Harry's protective and dominant Daddy side appears, and it's both just what Keisha needs--Harry is the Daddy she's never had but exactly what she's needed, and she's exactly what Harry needs too, as a break from his overworked, under-enjoyed lifestyle, so sit back and get ready for yet another funny, sweet, sexy and charming romance between these two, lovingly portrayed characters brought to life by the talented Laylah Roberts.

If you're new to the world of Daddies and their Littles, Laylah Roberts' novels are a great place to start to understand this particular kink, and while it's not part of my personal experience, having now read more than a few novels in this subgenre by a number of other authors, I can now state with certainty that Ms. Roberts' novels, although they contain plenty of heat, sizzle, and spankings, are better written, better plotted, and far more tastefully written than some of the far more explicit Daddy Dom/Littles novels I've read in the past. I've grown to love her books, her characters, her sense of humor and her gift for telling these sweet, sexy, and utterly charming stories, and I think you will too.

The couple: Harry and Kiesha

Romance genre: DD/lg
Series: Montana Daddies
Length: 489 pages

Plot: Kiesha is a little bit of a mess, but that's okay, right? She has a job, great friends, and lives life to the fullest. But when Harry comes to town to spend time with his stepdaughter, she finds herself wondering if maybe there could be something a little more. For his part, Harry is drawn to Kiesha, and it doesn't make sense to him. He's a buttoned-up, workaholic lawyer and she's a free-spirited, roller-skating extrovert. But something about her calls to the budding Daddy Dom within him. Just maybe their lives were meant to fit together rather than to clash.

Commentary: A couple of complaints: It was difficult to tell how old Kiesha was. If the book had not mentioned she was about 30, I would never have known, Little space or not. Is it absolutely necessary to know? Not exactly, but knowing that Harry's about 50, I liked knowing that Kiesha wasn't an 18-year-old ingenue. It was also nice to see a slightly older heroine (very slightly!). The other quibble I have is that Kiesha was supposed to be a POC, but you wouldn't know that unless you read the last book (which obviously, I have, duh, but...). There was one tiny mention of her having coarse hair, and that was it. I don't want her fetishized, but I think representation is important and it shouldn't be hinted at then abandoned. It was nice that it wasn't a conflict, but sometimes avoidance is a form of conflict. (Although I might have gone with a different title - Kiesha is sassy, to be sure, but the stereotype isn't necessarily a good look)

Other than those two minor things, I really liked this story, and part of it was that Kiesha was an established member of the community. She hadn't shown up needing to be rescued, she was a grown woman with problems and needs and friends and experiences. On the other hand, while she didn't appear in town needing to be rescued (a la Ellie in Daddy Bear), she does need help. She's too proud/down on herself to ask for help, but none of her friends noticed someone was off? She worries that she's not a good friend, but maybe she's not the one to wonder that.

I particularly liked the banter between Harry and Kiesha, with the references to him being old and brittle. I also like how she made sure to let him know she would stop making the jokes if she was hurting his feelings, that she was just playing.

I do wish we had a little more background on Kiesha - I felt like there was a little something missing. They came back to live with her grandfather - was her mom already friends with Ed's mom? Her mom sounds like she wasn't that great, honestly, because Kiesha has a lot of baggage, but it seems like nobody else took care of her (except maybe Ed)? I just wanted a little more about her growing up - I would understand her better then.

Grammar/formatting: still (although it's getting better) some non-American English even though the story is set in Montana; Kiesha is American and Harry is from New Zealand although he's been in America most of his life. This is standard for this author - I would think the editor/proofreader would be looking for this issue at this point.

Previous book in the series: Rogue Daddy

So I gave this a 4 because I love Layla and really each character individually. As a whole everything surrounding the characters was awesome. I loved the protagonist (like risky can't wait for Vance, penny and April to have their own stories). I honestly, haven't laugh so much in a long time. I love that Harry doesn't blink (overly much) when Keisha goes totally left. I also live that Keisha brings out his smiles.

But I was really saddened by they lack of description for Keisha. It was previously mentioned that she was Black, so the lack of it being mentioned in this book except for mostly dealing with her hair, was truly disappointing. It also felt like she fell into some tropes that could have been dealt with better. She fell into the super strong, can't rely on anyone independent mantra that's so detrimental to being a Black s-type. Seeing her learn to be vulnerable with her friends and the town as a whole was awesome, but would have been better as a dismantling of the trope.

Harry was just 0 to 100 Daddy. There was no build up or development with him. No history outside of casual mentions. He worked to much was really all we got. It would have been nice to see more of him developing friendships, if not with the townsfolk, then with those on Sanctuary Ranch with Mari.

A car crash in slow motion...

Is this series a complete mess? Absolutely. Have I read 13 full books of it. You bet your butt I have.

Listen, these books are absurd. This one in specific was just bonkers. I don't ever yuck someone's yum, but there's better age play books out there if you're looking to dable. Neither character was particularly fun to read - Keisha wasnt my favorite in the other books so I'm not surprised. Also... who in gods name thought this cover was a good idea?

I say all this knowing I'll read the next one. But to be clear I recommend staying away from this series. Can't say I didn't warn you!

I’ve Aged Out

I’ve always read these books for the men, I’m a sucker for competent, caring men. The women in these books started off as inept, incapable and largely homeless. But it was sort of fun, like oh of course they need a Daddy Dom, they can’t do anything. The female characters then turned into abused doormats, too naive to do anything about it but still capable of some level of reasoning. Then they became mentally ill. Extremely mentally ill, in the case of the lawyers sister living alone in a three story house with a pool, pool house and private security team. She couldn’t even handle a four hour shift in a library.

Now, with this Keisha, the female characters have turned into the mentally handicapped. This person should not be living on their own. Like she is a danger to herself and others. She is incapable of making sound decisions. Like she graduated high school with a certificate of completion and not a diploma sort of mentally handicapped. Most of the women in this series shouldn’t probably live on their own because they’re inept but Keisha takes it to another level. This character is dumb, dumb, dumb. I barely got through this book.

I used to preorder this series as soon an a book was announced. I’ve switched to reading these on kindle unlimited. The Motorcycle Daddies is still good and so is the Haram Daddies series. This one though…I’ve aged out. It’s hard to put into words just how uncomfortable this character made me feel. And overall, I’m getting kinda fed up with how women in this lifestyle are portrayed. You don’t have to be a naive, abused doormat to be a little. You can be successful in life and still need playtime. I don’t like the direction the series is going.

Interracial?

First off I enjoy Laylah’s books, but I would not list this as an interracial romance as Keisha is non descriptive. The only reason I have an idea is that I have read the whole series. Harry is described from his Hazel eyes to his abs. I do believe it was deliberate on the authors part in not really giving us a description of Keisha. Even in describing her hair is so non descriptive. I did enjoy the storyline although I felt as if we had some unnecessary characters. Barb really was a useless character and I didn’t see a purpose for her except she worked with Harry. It was kind of far fetched that all this was going on in Keisha life and no one had a clue. It sort of goes against the whole men in the town looking out for the women.

Entertaining DD/lg romance

No potential triggers
Slight plot spoilers alert.
The characterisation is excellent, as always with Ms Roberts being the author!
I have loved Keisha since first meeting her character several books ago, the author constructed the crazy pants personality and then peels away the layers in this book.
Harry is absolutely lovely, falling for the audacious girl who gives no quarter.
The plotline is engaging, more than enough to keep you turning the pages, although I felt the almost constant orgasm denial and edging were a bit overworked.
What didn't I like?
That would be how much he changed her personality. With the ever insistent caveat that for her health and safety she can't do this or that I felt the book pulled the reader into believing that underneath the chaotic and clever Keisha was a baby girl who needed reining in.
This just about turned her into a clone of the other littles with only a small measure of individuality. I felt a little let down by this because I was hoping her strong personality would continue and the book would provide another facet to the genre.
I did enjoy learning about the great Johnny Jacks war, that was funny and Heartwarming.
I still need Reuben's book!
If you are a fan of the genre I have no problem recommending the book but would advise reading from the beginning of the series to obtain the best reading experience.
There is quite a bit of swearing.
There are some sex scenes of a DD/lg nature written in detail.
There are some errors, mixed tense and missing words but not enough to kill the book and nothing like the amount in earlier books.

This book is hilarious in places. After Laylah's last two I thought she was moving away from humor but I guess she was saving it for this one. It was a bit overlong though.

I have to agree with other reviewers about the lack of description for Keisha. I even went back to Sheriff Daddy to refresh my memory. It wasn't until there was a little bit about textured hair did I really realize that she was a WOC. And that was in conjunction with the description of Jonny Jacks. I don't think her ethnicity is anyway central to the story and maybe that's a good thing but she really needed to be fleshed out more.

I do recommend this book but only if you have read the others in the series.

It just... fell short

As someone who awaits Laylah Roberts' books like a kid watching a cake bake, to rate this book a three stars was hard. It was a very low three, almost two star. So let's dig into it.

The writing was, as expected, great. Laylah Roberts is a master of her craft and it shows. The side characters were returning characters with a few new ones and they were funny and well written. The plot was good, it carried at the expected speed, no complaints. The DD/LG aspect was five stars.

The main characters ruined it for me. Harry, the male MC, I found super unappealing and a bore. It wasn't his age, I just felt like he had no substance and he went from zero to one hundred in DD way too fast. It left me feeling cheated of a real male lead and just generally lacking.

And then there was Keisha... She was just a hard no. I don't think she was even described, I can't picture her in my head. All I picture is the most obnoxious outfits and having to work in a sheriff's office is at minimum a semi professional job attire. The neon tights, roller blades, I don't remember her being this obnoxious in prior books. Or being so... immature. She wasn't stupid, she just..m it wasn't a good fit. From her attitude to her outfits to the constant lies... major turn off.

I almost DNF'd at 38% but I kept hoping it'd get better. I love this series... But you can skip this book if you can't force yourself through it.

This is the umpteenth book in the author's multiple series about the uber-protective men of Montana and the women they love. Although the relationship is a standalone, the MC and many important secondary characters were first introduced in other books so sections might be confusing for new readers. Note: The Age Play includes stuffies, coloring, bottles, and pacifiers. There is some talk of past partners; this doesn't bother me, but may others.

This entry features an older man-younger woman, opposites attract (in personality, profession, class, and age) romance between buttoned-up lawyer Harry and free-spirit Kiesha. His rules ground her and her fun-loving side loosens him up. But she's keeping a very big secret from him -- one that could put them both in danger.

I had the same pros and cons here as I have with all her books. The pros include consent, safewords, a possessive man who will do anything for his woman, a tight-knit community with strong secondary characters, humorous dialogue, and a vibrant MFC. The cons include villains straight out of 19th century melodramas (though a couple weren't, which was appreciated), plot holes (it's never explained exactly how Jonah knew Vance), endless repetitive scenes that add nothing to the plot, and endless repetitive dialogue that simply rehashes the same concerns. These last two, however, are part of the author's style; after multiple books, she obviously isn't going to fix this, so I just skim whole sections. Needless to say, I'm glad they're free on KU.

I had three other problems with this particular book. First, I don't like episodic narrative structure. Second, Kiesha's problems simply didn't ring true. Most of the other MFCs were strangers to the town and had no family or friends to rely on; this wasn't the case with Kiesha. I spent the entire book wondering why she didn't ask for help and her friends didn't notice that she was in trouble. The author tries to address this, but not in any reasonable way. Third, and most seriously, except for one vague mention of "textured hair," Ms. Roberts does anything and everything she can to avoid coming right out and saying that Kiesha is a WOC. In the previous books, she's described as "dark-skinned;" here, she's barely described at all. I find this white-washing troubling.

3 stars. Those who like the damsel-in-distress trope will enjoy this. I can't tell who will get the next book. Side Note: I continue to wonder why the editor (who I believe is an American) doesn't seem to recognize this New Zealand author's non-American English.

A wonderful addition to this series, amazing characters and plots
This is a simply amazing addition to this series I was so pleased to see Harry again especially after he spent so much time trying to find his lost daughter and now that he had found her again with her partner, he also discovered that they are in a Daddy and Little relationship and are exceedingly happy and in love.
Keisha has spent all of his life simply working and nothing else but since he found his daughter again, he realises how much more important things there are to life. Then in the town of Wishingbone Montana he met the love of his life and she has made him so happy and want to spend every day being her Daddy.
Keisha is a wonderful Little girl that has known such hardship and very little love and yet it has not stopped her from being such a wonderful and caring girl, her first thoughts are always for those she cares about and she would do anything for her friends yet she expects nothing in return from anyone only their friendship.
As Harry gets to know his Little girl better and also helps with the wedding plans of his daughter he realises that in the very strange town of Wishingbone he has found a place he actually wants to call home and there is nothing that could possibly make him happier than starting a new and very exciting life with his wonderful girl Keisha.
I guarantee that like myself you will not be able to put this book down until you reach the last page and discover the final outcome for this simply amazing group of individuals that live in a town, I would like to visit myself.
I do not want to spoil the plot so will say no more about the three of them, I assure you that you will enjoy every single moment of this book.
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.
I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.

*spoilers* I love the stories from Laylah Roberts. we met Kiesha in previous books of this series and she is loud and colourful. The sheriff Ed is like an older brother to her. Harry is the stepdad of Mari. He visits her and her boyfriend/daddy/fiancé. He feels how lonely and somehow empty his life has become, he is a lawyer in his fifties. When he meets Kiesha he feels a strong pull to her. After a roller blade accident he buys her protective gear with monster stickers on them. Kiesha is defensive of others, but not able to ask help for herself. They become friends, but both feel more and Harry becomes her daddy. He gets through her layers and past hurts and secrets are finally adressed.
I really love this author and somehow it is difficult to not rate this book 5 star, I still love her style and meeting all the people, so it still gets the full stars. But somehow I could not connect with Kiesha and Harry like all her other books. Normally I can not put the stories down and then I am sad, when it ends. This is still enjoyable and great, but not like the others. But it still touched me. I preoder Laylah Roberts stories and have read many more than once.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Words can't possibly do this book justice. I mourn that I finished
it quickly instead of savoring it as I wanted. It is now my favorite
book in this series with it's diverse and likable characters. I must
say pairing Kiesha with Harry never crossed my mind, but what a
perfect couple they made. It was refreshing how easily Kiesha
slipped into little mode within the safety of Harry’s arms.

I have been waiting for Kiesha’s story, and I knew it would be a hoot,
but it blew my mind. A unique roller skating impulsive whirlwind with
a heart of gold and a penchant for finding trouble matched with an
older sensible lawyer. They say opposites attract, and this couple
hit it off with a bang. Beneath Kiesha’s craziness hid a girl in trouble.
Her reluctance to seek help made her vulnerable until Harry took
control.

A calmer person you could not meet until someone he cared about
was in danger. Kiesha brought light and laughter into his life. She
made him feel alive. I admired that Harry loved Kiesha just the way
she was and did not try to change her except to curb her tendency
for putting herself in danger. He was the balance she needed in her
life.

This story was full of humor. I lived the sassy dialogue. The secondary
characters added warmth and depth to the storyline. One thing for
certain is that you will be left feeling satisfied and entertained by this
story.

Daddy’s Sassy Sweetheart is book thirteen of thirteen in the Montana Daddies series of standalones. I received this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Kiesha is one of my favorite characters in this series and I’m happy that she finally got her own story. Kiesha is feisty and is always up to some shenanigans. She is fun and a free spirit…at least that is what she wants everyone to believe. No one knows the secrets she is keeping that could jeopardize her future.

Harry is a lawyer that has decided to take some time off of work and visit his daughter in Wishingbone. While there, he runs into Kiesha, literally! He knows he needs more in his life than work and decides Kiesha is what he needs.

This book has humor, suspense, friendship, action, spice, and was an all around comfort read for me. I know when I want a heartfelt, sweet and uplifting book I can always turn to Laylah to find it!

What can I say that I haven't already about Laylah Roberts books? I've loved Kiesha since she came onto the scene and then when Harry showed up to see his step-daughter, I thought they might be a cool couple! Well, Ms. Roberts must have heard me (and lots of other readers) because this is their story. Kiesha's life is sort of a mess. She's hiding certain aspects of her life from her friends and when she runs into Harry, she can't seem to get him out of her mind. I love that she is sassy, feisty and speaks her mind. Harry is interested in her and feels something more than just friendship for her. Watching these two build their relationship was so much fun. I adore both of them and I loved seeing all the characters from previous stories. But when danger presents itself, will Harry be able to save his Little Monster? Another awesome story and I'm always going to be eagerly waiting for the next one!

Age gap, DDlg featuring the sweet and sassy monster lover Kiesha and her Daddy Harry. Kiesha has returned to the small town of Wishingbone, facing some painful past memories that have changed her inside. Outwardly, this roller-skating daredevil is bright and happy but she has lots of worries she doesn’t want to burden her friends with. Harry looks after Kiesha, but she looks after him too. The story was fun and cute but also has some serious, suspenseful, and dangerous aspects to it. I love how the townspeople look after each other, especially the explanation of Kiesha’s arch nemesis. I hope Vance gets a story, love to see a Mafia Daddy

What a brilliant and wonderful story. Gosh i so loved both of these characters for different reasons. I loved Kiesha for her wonderful humor that made me laugh often while reading the story. I also loved her sassyness and the way she loved her friends and not to mention how she treated the sheriff, but in reality she was a soul who didnt know how much she was loved and cared for. Till along came a man named Harry, a lawyer who was uptight and didnt know how to have fun till Kiesha he was her rock. Together these two are made for each other.
Its a no tther story that you really dont want to miss.

This is a happy story!!

OMG!! Harry & Keisha are just so adorable! We saw the sparks when Harry first showed up in Daddy in Cowboy Boots, and finally hearing Keisha’s back story was wonderful. I laughed, I got a little teary a few times … in other words, it was a perfect read!! It hit all the right notes. We got to catch up with old friends, meet some new ones (and finally found out the story with Jonny Jacks!). Laylah hits another one out of the park. If you read it as a stand alone, or you add it to your Daddy series, you’re going to LOVE this book. If I could, I’d give it 10 thumbs up!!

If you are familiar with this series you will be familiar with Kiesha and Harry. She works for the Sheriff and he's Mari's dad. He's always been quite serious and a work-a-holic, she's a free spirit who lives off sugar. She is spunky, reckless, generous to a fault, and a free-spirit. At least that's what people see. In this story we get to look beneath that persona and find out who she really is. I love the way Harry and Kiesha balance each other out. Their story is full of humor, sweetness, and tons of sass. We get to reconnect with the characters from the previous books and meet some new ones. It's everything I've come to love and expect from a LR book.

I loved this story!! Keisha is a wild child! Harry is the calm and steady she so desperately needs! She is so fun!!! She also has an arch nemesis, Johnny Jacks! Ed, the long suffering sheriff is her Brother/Boss. This story makes you laugh, cry and can be quite intense. But Keisha is definitely one of a kind!! The HEA is wonderful!! A highly entertaining book!!

I reviewed an advanced copy of this book!!

I always love Laylah's books and this one did not disappoint! Harry is a gruff older lawyer in town to see his daughter Marisol when he is taken out by Keisha who is running late to work. Harry was not expecting to be taken out by a roller skating quirky goddess. I love the dynamic between Harry and Keisha, Harry is gruff and very strict while Keisha is very carefree and easy going.

Another great addition to the Montana Daddies series! I was so exited to get Kiesha‘s story and it did not disappoint! I loved her and Harry together. He never once tried to change her eccentric personality just support her and keep her safe. The parts about Ed’s lectures did drag on at times but otherwise absolutely great book!.

Finally Keisha gets her story and it's a good one! Cute, sassy, independent Keisha meets her match in Harry and there are so many wonderfully cute and funny moment. I laughed along and felt my heart hurt at Keisha's past and the way she protects herself. Wonderful.

Kiesha is one of the best characters in Wishingbone so I'm very pleased that she finally gets her HEA with Harry. And we finally get the story behind Kiesha and her arch nemesis. One of my favorite things about this book is Harry's terms of endearment for her, one of which is 'my baby'. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is Book 13 of Montana Daddies. This is a story for Kiesha and Harry. Well this book will have you going crazy with Kiasha and how she keeps people from her. I loved how Harry runs into Kiesha and claims her for his own. I loved how this book goes and how crazy Kiesha acts. I loved how different these two are.
