David Hudson believes that art is all he needs to be happy—that is until the night he meets Dorothy and everything changes. Everything about her intrigues him, and when she tells him that she had never been painted before, he offers to paint her with the promise that he won’t put it up for display or sale. However, David is amazed at how beautiful the painting turns out to be and thinks it would be a crime not to share such beauty with the world. David breaks his promise, a fact that Dorothy soon realizes, and she does not take it well when she discovers the betrayal. It finally dawns on David that he might lose the one woman that has captured his heart in the way no one has ever done. Will he be willing to put everything on the line so he doesn’t lose her?
Intrigued is the fifth book in the Hudson Effect series and is David's story. Love is the last thing on David's mind, he enjoys art and feels that is all he needs. That is until he meets Dorothy at a showing.
Dorothy is a catering manager, working at an opening when she meets David. The connection is strong but when David ignores her wishes, she is ready to let him be, but with the help of family David is able to win her back.
This is a great story and a wonderful ending to the series. . I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
David meets Dorothy at his art exhibition where she's catering the event. It's insta love with a hot, sizzling chemistry. The author once again incorporates the siblings into the story. It's well written with descriptive scenes, moves quickly and smoothly and is an enjoyable story. I enjoyed reading their story along with the rest of the series.

Loved the final book in the Hudson family series. You definitely saved the best for last with David and Dorothy. David is a hot shot artist and instantly falls for Dorothy. She wants her life private and when he paints a masterpiece he wants in his next show he almost loses her. Luckily a little help from his sister and siblings and this series had the best ending.
This was another quick read from this author in this series. A good read, however the reason I gave it four stars is because it was written in the third person point of view which is a deal breaker for me. . I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
