We’ve passed that milestone, but maybe our relationship has become routine. My best friend thinks I should spice things up. That might be easy for a half-siren, but I’m a witch. I can master spells, not seduction.
My awkward attempt proves it. I'll stick to dancing in clubs rather than my bedroom.
Although Diego claims nothing’s wrong with us, he’s still distant. He’s keeping something from me, but what?
Then I learn his gorgeous ex is in Salem, and she wants him back.
Vamp, please. You had your chance.
Is she the reason he’s acting weird? I need to up my game and save him from this walking nightmare. The last time they were together, she broke his heart and stole his mortal life.
I may not have her grace or immortality, but I’m not losing my vampire without a fight.
Awkward encounters, found families, and odd roommates. Fans of New Girl and What We Do in the Shadows will love the Salem Supernaturals series – paranormal chick lit with romance, comedy, and suspense!
USA Today bestselling author Lisa Carlisle loves stories with dark, brooding heroes or quirky outcasts. Her romances have been named Top Picks at Night Owl Reviews and The Romance Reviews.
When she was younger, she worked in a variety of jobs, moving to various countries. She was stationed in Okinawa while in the Marines, backpacked alone through Europe, and worked in Paris before returning to the U.S. She owned a bookstore for a few years as she loves to read. She’s married with two kids, two cats, and too many fish.
This was a simply delightful read. I loved that this book reunites us with characters that feel like friends. The story is the perfect blend of fun, heart, feels and cuteness that is offered up with a nice dollop of relatability that will have you sympathizing and basking in the feels as you get your swoon on. This is my unbiased, unsolicited review.
We are reunited with the quirky Supernatural residents of Salem in this funny and heartfelt story.
Vampire Diego finally decides he wants to propose to Nova, she is the sunlight in his otherwise sunless life. Only problem is he keeps rehashing the bad experience he had with his first engagement and that is putting a bad taste in his mouth. What should he do, how should he do it, he shouldn't be thinking of the past, but of the wonderful future he will have with Nova.
Nova is having bad feelings, Diego is acting so detached lately, has he changed his mind about her? Then all of a sudden Diego proposes in the most beautiful and thoughtful way she could ever have imagined.
The bad experience and nightmare from Diego's past decides to make an appearance and recover what she destroyed with witchery and puts a damper to all of Diego's plans. Will this be the end of Diego and Nova for good, or will their quirky family swoop in and maybe save the day?
OMG! Hold on to your seat! “NIGHT WEDDING” is another fantastic must read for those who love PNR, with romance suspense, too! (This is a play on words from a cool Billy Idol song, ‘White Wedding” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AAZQa... ;) and totally fits this must read page-turner! This is the 4th fan-freaking-tastic must read from the awesome ‘Salem Supernaturals’ series! ... Always a fresh new plot, relatable characters & clever dialogue that kept me on the edge of my seat not wanting to stop! ... Plus the amazing attention-to-detail that will pull you right into the book as if you are a part of the storyline! ... I am so hooked on these books, and even tho I volunteered to read this in advance, it was without any outside influences and these are my own feelings! ... Also I do buy kindle ebooks whenever I am able :) So yes, I can honestly recommend this to Adult 18+ fans of fiction and now I can’t wait for more- but of course I will ;)
This is a series that has a little something for everyone and each story has captured me and drawn me in and I have loved getting to know each character. This fourth book is every bit as exciting and enjoyable as the previous three and I loved it. A fantastic storyline to grip you and hold you tight, fantastic characters who now feel more like family with their banter and close friendship. It’s fun, its funny, it’s suspenseful and let’s not forget it’s hot romance and I just couldn’t put it down. I absolutely adore visiting Salem in this incredible Supernaturals series!
Nova and her friends are back and she and Diego are in for an interesting time when Diego's Ex comes to town Diana sets her sites on Diego again but not in the way anyone would have thought possible. It will take on them both. An exciting storyline and characters. Page turner. Humor, suspense, unusual magic, romance, love, and betrayal. HEA. I read an ARC via BookFunnel without obligation. I volunteered an honest review.
Night Wedding Once upon a time there was a witch that had little to no magical talent that lived in Salem. Unable to control her magic she moved to New York. Then she inherited her aunt’s home back in Salem. Nova gets much more than a house she has three housemates. Diego is a handsome vampire that works at a healing center, Sebastian is a wolf shifter Chef and Lucas is a half-dragon stripper. Then there is a Halloween Ball and Nova agrees to attend with Diego pretending to be his date/fiancée. Diego met a beautiful vampire, Diana, fell in love and was turned into a vampire. Diana broke his heart and left him. Now he faces eternity without her. Nova moves into the house and things change. He and Nova fall in love and it changes both of them. They are excited to explore their relationship despite it starting as a ruse. It has been eight exciting months since the start of their relationship. Nova feels that something is not quite right. Is Diego having second thoughts? Has their romance and love fizzled? Is this an seven-month itch? Then Diana reappears and wants Diego back. She seems prepared to do anything. This book was a great follow up to Rebel Spell. I am loving this series. So many great and interesting characters. You simply must read this book for the swoon-worthy proposal. I loved it, so perfect. The only think I can say is that I want more Salem Supernaturals, more, I say, many more!
Nova is a witch who is concerned about her relationship with her boyfriend. He seems a bit distant. Her best friend encourages her to get some energy in the bedroom to capture Diego’s attention again. But it isn’t a lack of interest. So while Nova is trying to find some sexy clothing to strip out of to entertain her boyfriend, Diego is nervously talking to his friends Sebastian and Lucas about proposing to Nova! But he is immortal. Would he ruin her life if he asked her to make a commitment to the undead? The last time he was engaged, it was a disaster since Diana took his mortal life away and made him a vampire, only to leave him in a few months when he got bored with him.
When Nova’s sexy time doesn’t go over well, the two of them talked. He insists nothing is wrong between them and he tells her he loathes Diana. But with his ex-fiancée arriving back in Salem, Nova is determined that she won’t give Diego up without a fight. Or does Diana want something else from him?
Talk about being on different wave links. She thinks they aren't as close anymore and wants to do whatever is necessary to get back to or even closer than before. That is not the case at all for Diego he just doesn't know how to do it. THEN: in walks the sexy ex. What's a girl to think--Nova I mean.
All the besties try to help. If you've read the series you know that's a disaster in the making. Humor, tears, jealousy, danger, steam, magic, and surprises. It's all there but how will it turn out. It's a page-turner and the guys and gals don't let readers down.
For series readers, your gonna love it. For new readers, you are gonna want more.
I enjoyed reading this book. The characters are awesome, they are funny, witty, feisty and at times awkward. The storyline is great and easy to read and the whole book is very well written.
Diego is acting very distant to his his mate Nova. When her best friend tells her to spice things up in the bedroom it gets very awkward and frankly hilarious. Diego tells her there’s nothing wrong but Nova knows he’s keeping something from her and she’s determined to find out. When she discovers his ex is around and she wants him back, we’ll put it this way, she’s not letting him go without a fight.

I don’t know if there will be more in this series but if not I felt this was a great wrap up to a series that I absolutely enjoyed!
Bringing all the characters together and getting some better perspective on Diego and his way of thinking and Seeing Nova growing into her own. I do think this could’ve been shortened by quite a bit as I found myself skimming a lot due to repetition and/or recapping of previous books. The meat of the story was fantastic though and the way it comes together made it a great read. I am so looking forward to reading more from this author.
This fourth book in this wonderful series is an entertaining, funny and suspenseful hot romance I couldn’t stop reading once I started, there's something for all fans of PNR romance and mystery. I have to say I loved Nova and Diego's story. It's an emotional rollercoaster ride with humour, jealousy, danger, magic, great chemistry, lots of heat as well as many surprises. There were times it brought tears to my eyes and times I just laughed out loud. The characters are wonderfully well defined and the world-building is excellent. This whole series has been a joy to read!
I loved this story that had a brilliant plot and very likeable characters. After reading a previous book in this supernatural series, I knew I had to devour this one and I could never be disappointed by this author. The storyline had my heart twisting with how quickly the situation plummeted and how easily the enemy gained control. I adored the strength Nova had in order to pull Diego away from the clutches of evil. A literary triumph that just whet my eager appetite for this series all the more.

Night Wedding is Nova and Diego's entertaining journey of love as deal with his sexy ex who is back in Salem. I loved Nova and Diego's story. From the great writing to the humor, romance, mystery, suspense, magic, and unexpected twists this is a page turning fun read. Night Wedding is book four and a great addition to the Salem Supernaturals series. I look forward to reading more books by this author in the future. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
According to Book 1, Diego met the guys AFTER he and Diana split up. If the spell made him think he's still with Diana then how does he know the guys or even where he lives. Nova mentions how her blood always drove Diego nuts but it doesn't affect him until after the spell has been broken.
I like this writer, I do. I just can't stand books that take too long to get to the end. Luckily she's not as long winded as some authors can be.
Nova and Diego are very much in love, but when Diego starts acting squirrelly and his ex shows up things take a turn for the weird, It is up to Nova and her friends to put that vampire in her place and keep love on track. This is another wonderful book in the Salem Supernaturals series.

The proposal had Diego in a tizzy and poor Nova's self-confidence too a hit. Diana the wicked ex who turned then dumped Diego decide she wants him back. The super supes spring into action to rescue their roommate and reunite their friends. Bumpy road but so heartening!
Some of the weird things that go through our heads when our insecurities rise it's ugly little head. The nasty ex, she needs to be taken to the beach at noon and left there. Very good story, I loved it. I received a complimentary review copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
This has been a fun series to read. Nova and Diego are definitely a favorite for me. This story was a real rollercoaster ride of different emotions. The supporting characters really add to the mayhem of fun and suspense. Read this story and see if they get their HEA. Enjoy!
I haven’t read the previous books but I don’t believe that is a problem. Okay read with likeable characters, just didn’t make me want to read the others. I also didn’t like that Diana got away with what she did. Read through Kindle Unlimited.
This paranormal romatic comedy is a light hearted read that is fun, cute and sweet. This is a lighter read this is incredible enjoyable. I loved the sass, humor, and excitment. I recommend reading this book!

I love the conclusion to nova and Diegos love story but the ex that should not be named is still out there. I do hope they get her. What she did was plain wrong. I can't wait for Lucas and Zoe to tie the knot . Can you imagine how long he'd take to pick a ring lol.
