The night before I left to start my NHL career with the Raleigh Cyclones, she broke my heart when she ended things. She was scared of the distance. Scared that we’d lose us as we both started separate lives.

It’s been a year and a half since she wrote me that letter and torn me in two and I’m done waiting for her. Hayley is mine and I’m not leaving until she’s permanently back in my arms.

We’ll make it through anything, I just have to convince her to believe in us. Believe we’re forever.

Wish it was longer because cal is my favorite. But so glad we finally got to hear their love story.
