What turns a man in to a prophet? Miraculous characteristic? Remarkable personality? Boldness of leadership? Amazing predictions of time and age? Being generous or truthful even to the enemy? Simplest way of life? Bringing a nation from ignorance and darkness to light to commence a unforgettable civilization? What more can be put forward in the characteristic of a human soul that will be convincible to us without a shadow of a doubt of his prophethood? This mind-boggling book has a lot to speak in regards to a true prophet and all of the criteria mentioned above definitely match none other than the final prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

Not living in the age of poetry or literature but science, logic boldly require compelling answer when claims to be a God sent prophet. Far away from 7th century even standing in the modern age who deserve to be a real prophet except Muhammad (peace be upon him). Yet most are unaware of how he truly was as a person, as a husband, a leader that the world has neve produced and it goes on with the commence of a bright nation of science, education, progressive with time not ignoring God consciousness in heart and after life. Thus the alteration of the long waited world from superstition was being born when he (peace be upon him) was chosen by God as the last prophet, the final prophet of the world. Wouldn't you then amaze to discover such prophet?

Not only Islamic world throughout the ages overwhelmingly praise this remarkable mind (peace be upon him) but in a global scale, political leader like Gandhi for instance, British orientalist like Stanley Lane-Pool or the writer George Bernard Shaw and it continues acknowledged the positive aspects of the final prophet and the examples he left behind for the whole of humanity to follow till the world exist inshaAllah. Wouldn't then the duty of a rational mind to quest such prominent figure of history in the right context? Truly a special book that succinctly covers a wide range of proofs, arguments, and refutations in less than 250 pages. I would genuinely recommend this book to a person who knew little about Islam or even harboured some doubts or hostilities regarding it. It is also an equally important read for those who are already Muslim, to revitalise their love for the Prophet (SAW).

·       All people are instinctually driven to believe in the existence of God and have an innate impulse to discover this higher power which they sense so strongly

·       Ultimately, this metaphysical yearning we all experience is a powerful, universal force, created within us by God, that drives us to seek out the prophets He elected to guide us to Him Their message regarding God, His greatness, His guidance, and the reality of this life and the next resonates so deeply within us that we find ourselves compelled to faith We are not just “driven to God” by an inner surety about Him and the impetus to connect with Him, but also by a fascinating “trust” in our ability to find Him.

·       Within us all is a restless craving for spiritual fulfillment When ignored, the spirit experiences intense thirsts which send it chasing one mirage after another, each offering it momentary hope of an oasis before yet another letdown

·       the essential need to self-transcend will never be fully satisfied by just any involvement in ends greater than oneself (such as serving the human collective)

·       God sent His final messenger ﷺ to fully define goodness, protecting humanity against shortsightedness, the desensitization we all experience from social conditioning, and the perversions of our perceptions that often follow

·       In the same book, Carlyle says, “The lies (Western slander) which well-meaning zeal has heaped round this man (Muham-mad) are disgraceful to ourselves only”

·       Bosworth Smith (d.1908), a reverend and author, writes, "Head of the State as well as the Church; he was Caesar and Pope in one; but he was Pope without the Pope’s pretensions, and Caesar without the legions of Caesar, without a standing army, without a bodyguard, without a police force, without a fixed revenue. If ever a man ruled by a right divine, it was Muhammad, for he had all the powers without their supports. He cared not for the dressings of power. The simplicity of his private life was in keeping with his public life."

·       Alphonse de Lamartine "Philosopher, orator, apostle, legislator, warrior, conqueror of ideas, restorer of rational dogmas, of a cult without images, the founder of twenty terrestrial empires and of one spiritual empire; that is Muhammad. As regards all the standards by which human greatness may be measured, we may well ask: is there any man greater than him?"

·       Muhammad literally means ‘the oft-praised one,’ and no human being has ever received greater praise and recognition.

·       Only in Islam does one find a distinct focus on God who is absolute in His Oneness and perfection, transcendent in His power and justice, glorified above resembling His creation or deserting them without direction, and equally compassionate to humanity at large, addressing them all with the same message

·       The Prophet Muhammad’s ﷺ teachings on destiny do not just stand in contrast to the atheistic worldview that misperceives reality as random and undirected, existing solely in the grip of a merciless, relentless set of physical laws which serve no purpose and offer no reassurances

·       while pagans attempt to connect with the Divine through theatrical forms, and hedonists kneel for a lifetime at the crude shrine of self-indulgence, monotheists with access to confirmed prophetic teachings enjoy the real pathways disclosed by God to authentically connect with Him

·       The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ informed people that “whatever will intoxicate in large amounts, then even small amounts of it are unlawful”. Sensible people should notice how superior this advice is to current recommendations to “drink responsibly” which rely on the decision-making of those whose ability to make responsible decisions is impaired

·       spiritual and moral refinement were the true bedrock upon which temperance and reform are built, and a person is liberated from this vice

·       He ﷺ validated his followers’ intellectual potential by saying, “You know better concerning your worldly affairs”

·       The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was therefore not just an orphan who adopted the world with his compassion, but an unlettered shepherd who provided an extraordinary prism that addresses every theological, ethical, or civilizational inquiry until the end of time He propounded a message of profound substance, coupled with fine-tuned laws that remained flexible enough that the message would remain forever pertinent and never become outdated

·       "Count six signs before the Hour; my death, the conquest of Jerusalem, two mortal plagues that will take you [in great numbers] as the plague of sheep [depletes them], then wealth will be in such surplus that a man will be given a hundred gold coins and still be unsatisfied, then there will be a tribulation that will not leave an Arab home without entering it, then there will be a truce between you (the Muslims) and Banū al-Aṣfar (the Byzantines) which they will betray, and march against you under eighty flags, and under each flag will be twelve thousand soldiers"

·       One recognizes that the natural order, seemingly fixed, is in fact entirely contingent on divine will. This is the utility of miracles and why deemphasizing them to appear more rational and sophisticated is a great disservice to many sincere seekers.

·       Prophet’s ﷺ miracles themselves. It demonstrates the veracity of a key epistemological perspective that the Qur’an postulates—namely, the futility of skepticism as an approach to knowledge Even the clearest signs and miracles can be doubted if a person is willing to be skeptical of their own senses and question reality entirely

·       Al-Qāḍī ‘Iyāḍ says, “The Prophet’s ﷺ supplications being answered for those he prayed for and against is mutawātir in principle, known by necessity”

·       The Qur’an asserted complex existential truths and taught a nuanced morality with a remarkable blend of precision and graceful elegance It deconstructed prevalent wrongs that had become normalized and revealed the hypocrisy within

·       The Bible was kept secret by government-enforced dictates and remained inaccessible to the laity until 1,500 years after Jesus Christ, following the Protestant Reformation. However, the Qur’an’s unique decentralized dissemination made it impossible for anyone to later modify its content, unlike the “authorized revisions” of the Bible that continue being issued until the present day

·       As al-Khaṭṭābī writes in Bayān Iʿjāz al-Qurʾān, "The inimitability of the Qur’an has yet another dimension, one which people tend to overlook, and is unrecognized except by a sparse few—namely what it generates in the hearts and impresses onto the souls. Aside from the Qur’an, you do not hear of any discourse, neither poetry nor prose, that upon reaching one’s ears provides such immediate pleasure and sweetness, and at other times such awe and intimidation, like the Qur’an does."

·       The Prophet ﷺ would beseech Allah, “…and guide me, and allow guidance to be easy for me.” This is a profound prayer, for we all subconsciously avoid accepting certain truths due to fear of their cost. It is therefore our heart being open to truth, not just our mind, that allows for objectivity and clarity of thought.

From the perspective of a non-Muslim, this book provides historical facts and logical arguments that many historians have approved, leading to the conclusion that Muhammad (PBUH) was a prophet. It's a very good book to start a journey toward knowing Muhammad (PBUH).

In my perspective, as someone who has been a Muslim from birth and has learned Islamic teachings throughout my life at school, the book is very interesting because it strengthens my existing beliefs. Generally, Islamic education starts from the Quran being the absolute truth and builds on that foundation, providing arguments to support this truth.
Going from what Allah said : "Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but he is Allah’s Messenger, and the Seal of the prophets. And Allah knows everything." to studying his life and learning that he is indeed a prophet and the final messenger, and the more you learn about it the closer you are to the religion.

What is particularly interesting about the book is that it takes a different approach in its reasoning. It starts with undeniable facts and then concludes by adding a verse from the Quran that supports the same point. This method not only makes the book meant for Muslims and non-Muslims, but strengthens our faith as believers and brings us closer to our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), but also makes us realize the perfection of the religion, as everything makes sense no matter how or from what perspective you see it.

I found this incredible work to be exceptionally insightful , thoroughly conceived, well referenced and thought provoking. Even as a Muslim who has known about many of the evidences, Hadiths and verses referenced in this work - I found the comprehensive and intellectual nature to be refreshing and thoroughly convincing. I honestly think that every young Muslim , especially in the west , should read this work and familiarize himself with its contents as a defense against baseless doubts and skepticism commonly encountered in western discourse regarding the prophethood of our beloved messenger ﷺ.

May Allah ‎ﷻ reward the shaykh abundantly for this remarkable and necessary work and make it a proof for him on the day of judgement.

The book in itself is excellent and has countless arguments for why the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is the final prophet. However I feel like many aspects were quite repetitive and the testaments coming from non Muslims did not wholly appeal to me. However I can see this book resonating with non Muslims who might be interested in Islam as it addresses various aspects of the Prophet's (pbuh) life in an objective manner.

Quite an enlightening read. It covers a wide range of topics, from miracles performed by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to the Qur'an's linguistic miracle, among other things.

I learnt about many things I wasn't aware of before. For example, 62% of the words from the collection of the sayings of the Prophet (peace be upon him), Sahih al Bukhari, were not found in the Qur'an and 83% of Qur'anic terms do not exist in the Hadith, it being impossible for someone to maintain such a strict policy in their language through their whole life-time.
