Many need to complete serials has me still reading this 'group of scientists have sex with aliens to fund their space travel and experiment' supposedly humorous sci-fi adventure. A splintered team desperate to increase their income looks to employ what appears one of the hottest scientist out there, whose main focus is the environment; meanwhile Doug has to be rescued, which sadly, or is that humorously leads to an alien invasion. Can love, or should I say sex conquer all? An even firmer attempt to tell a story, further displays the creatives team lack of skill in that area! a 4 out of 12 Two Stars, is me being generous for the audacity of the primary concept.

Sex and social commentary. It works OK this time around. The story wasn't as much fun as previous arcs. New artist Caroline Leigh Layne is solid.

Eh, I was so in love with this series. But the change in artist honestly ruined it for me. Every character is now skinnier and more perfect with weird giant eyes. My favorite part about the characters was they looked like real people, with imperfect breasts, a little chub and realistic features. They now look like shitty anime girls and it makes it all seem like a push to make the comic more appealing to the male gaze, their are even now characters who are naked for an entire issue just because. It's not a change I really liked. The plot is still just as strong though and I really liked the journey. The first issue of this volume felt like a throw away, but the rest was good and had the same wit and humor as the previous volumes. I know the artist left on their own accord, but I still think the new artist should have tried to be closer to the previous art.

I am literally only here for the Bree and Chris (and Annie and Doug I guess) storyline at this point, everything else is completely batshit insane lol

If the previous volume was a satire of a satire, then this is a parody of the satire of the satire. Disappointing. Also, the new artist and artwork is fine, and there are aspects I enjoy of it, the but the artwork in the previous volumes was better imo.

AND, the characters in this one feel like they were written by completely different authors

Still giving it two stars because it was mildly fun, just disappointing

'Designate: Little Shot is still hopped up on juice and ready to: Objective: Throw some hands!'

At this point, I feel like I keep on reading this series for Little Shot but at least this volume is a step up from the previous one. No more OTT presidents here! I found the Skulzoch Prohl storyline to be interesting even if a little underwhelming (justice for Bree!) but it was far better than Annie and Doug being stuck somewhere off world. I guess I'm just over them having to make porn just to have enough money to jump worlds every single time. It worked the first couple of times but we're on volume 3 and they're still having the same issues and it's just not innovative anymore. However, them unleashing a wholeass invasion on earth is so them, it was actually funny LOL. I'm still undecided if I want to continue the series even though the next volume is a new arc.

As for the art, it's a downgrade for me what with the characters looking super cartoony that it's hard to take anyone seriously. Artist change in the middle of a series is akin to changing cover designs in the middle of a series and I have no idea why either of them ever seem like a good idea, sigh.

Felt a bit scattered in terms of continuity (one-off character in 1-2 issues with an artist change) but a satisfying return to bawdy sci-fi/porn-inspired adventure.

this lacked all the charm that was in volume one and two. this felt like a lot of little missions and we basically ended up where we started + the new art style is absolutely NOT IT.

Content Warning - I don't know if it's really considered bestiality if they're alien deer, but they're definitely further down the line than Furries. But if you've made it this far in the series, you'll probably be fine.
There's a fun single issue story that highlights that being beautiful doesn't translate to being good in bed, played fully for laughs. And then the main plot splits the team up, with two captured by alien deer that consider humans good eating, and the rest on Earth dealing with a mythical bounty hunter who turns out to be not-so-mythical, and not what one would expect on a number of other vectors. Oh and also dealing with break-up of our leads.

There's a fair bit going on, and most of it works, but the shock value has kind of worn off by now. The relationships between the characters are central to the story, though there is a lot of sex, and there is a pretty big threat that gets resolved in a less than satisfactory manner.
It's still a fun read, but I think it's to the point where it needs a bit more going on under the surface to carry the concept any further.

This is definitely not a graphic novel for kids, just fyi. There is very mature sexual material in these one folks.

This is about a group of scientific minded people led by Christine who creates a teleporter. She goes from location to location to have intimate relations with different alien species in the entire universe, and of course the other scientists have intimate relations with each other as well.

In this 3rd novel in the series, there is a new illustrator. The illustrations aren't as good as the first two books. The characters are skinny and also have huge eyes now. This was not pleasant to look at as a reader and fan of the series. Bree leaves the crew in this one and Christine is working to find a new replacement for her. The new replacement Jean is not fitting in well with the group nor with the aliens that they have intimate relations with. And at the end of the book Bree, is she coming back to the crew? We don't know.....

This was not as good as the first two, both in story and art, unfortunately. No offense to Caroline Leigh Layne, but the lines just felt more unfinished here than in the first two volumes and it threw me off. On the other side, the plots were even less plausible than any others, which is a high mark to reach. Or low, I suppose. I thought the gags involving the characters least favorite aspects of porn were silly because it almost seemed like just an excuse to get those things in the book in the first place. The clay pigeons were not a problem that could have been solved so easily, and definitely would have resulted in many civilian deaths before they were contained. I don't know, I could go on, but this volume was not nearly as engaging. Probably won't continue this story from here.

Art in this volume was not as good as 1 or 2. The story is just as ridiculous as 1 or 2. The only major gripe aside from art is that the story needed a few more stories where money was not a problem and they just had some weird and fun sex with aliens. Also a few more issues to let some mysteries breath or characters that are introduced have some more depth before they go for some emotional payoff 1 issue after a setup.

Art had some very childish faces on some characters and was to simplistic on others. A little more line work on faces would have made them much more stylistically pleasing to me.

Like volume 1 and 2, volume 3 was a fun read that since it was not designed to be Shakespeare is good for passing time and being entertained.

It was a bit of a shock to me to discover that they had switched artists. No offense to Layne, I like her work, but for me her style does not emote as effectively as Isaacs. I became accustomed to these characters appearing in a certain way and I'm not sure how I feel about the new visual representation. They just don't visually appear as flushed out as they did before.
That aside I'm gonna keep on the ride because I'm invested in the characters (<3 Bree and Chris <3 in particular) but we'll have to see how the next volume pans out because I miss Isaacs' interpretations.

I kept going with this series out of curiosity. I think the curtailed serial nature of the format makes everything wrap up a little too neatly and too conveniently. I have to remind myself most comic books don’t get the luxury of an overarching plot or something to string these adventures together. Still, if these are just the quests of scientists it’s not all bad. This volume feels the most campy honestly and turned me away from the series. I know another volume isn’t guaranteed but I think I’m fine if I never read another issue. 1 and 2 I think captured the spirit and 3 is just overdoing it.

I feel like they were told there wasn’t enough sex in the previous volume, because that’s mainly all that’s in this one and very little story. I really enjoyed the story in the last volume, but this is such a step down.

I hate the new art. Nothing against the artist I was just used to the way all the characters looked before. If I had nothing to compare it to it would be fine, but unfortunately, I can’t help but feel all this looks more amateur.

Feels really dumbed down. Just kind of a disappointment all around.

While I loved the previous two story arcs of Money Shot, this third volume wasn’t for me. The new art style is almost cartoonishly bad , and lacks the humour and characterisation that really made me fall in love with the book originally. The thin art also exposes the weaker story in this trade - it’s a bit of a circular side- plot that doesn’t really go anywhere .Also… can we let the Nat/Bree plot thread go, please? Hopefully the fourth trade picks back up.

This is the weaker volume of the three, but still it delivers some more comedic sex adventures for the porno star/explorers at the heart of the series. If there is a fourth volume, then the quality will need to improve if it is to maintain a series, and there is no doubt that the arcs on offer here felt less coherent than previously. Still, this has been a great run.

Same fun and spiciness, new artist. I miss the other artist. For some reason all the women (and sometimes the men as well) have crossed eyes? What is that?

I prefer the previous artist in all aspects of the artwork here.

But the storylines are still fun! And the art isn't bad or anything, I just like the other better and am not a fan of change. hah!

I don’t think I’ll be continuing with the series. The spark isn’t there, the story lost coherence a while ago, and I can’t get over the skinnification of all the characters, and for what? To make them attractive? Let fat characters be fat!

Drawing went one notch down

All right, with the declining excitement for this book, I wonder why the illustrations became worse. The book was still entertaining though. But since this is a visual medium, the artwork matters a lot to me.

Enjoyable but returns are diminishing.

I am hooked on this series. I picked up the first volume at my digital library the other day and breezed through it, and the second volume, in days. The same for this one, it's a really fun sexy series

This is what we call "why ruin a good thing?" The art is bad, the writing is needlessly verbose, and the jokes aren't really funny. The comic ended in volume 2. It even says so, "unless you want sloppy thirds."

Well, sloppy thirds indeed.

This one was disappointing. Not much getting it on, relationship drama that wasn't interesting, and a big bad story that was weakly resolved.
